Being able to communicate via email, and getting all my many questions answered quickly, was a huge advantage over other companies I contacted. Jim was running slightly late at his previous job, but called me ahead of time to let me know, which I appreciated. And I surely put him in the exact same position with his next client, as I kept adding things beyond what we originally discussed I wanted removed once he was here, including a queen sized mattress/boxspring and a heavy bureau. And at the end of the job, Jim asked for the exact same payment he had originally quoted, which was slightly less than the other quote I received from a competitor (we decided to add on ourselves, but it was a generous offer). Everyone was extremely nice, friendly, and wore masks when inside without me having to ask. Highly recommend.

Drake Cleanouts & Moving went above and beyond for my family. They handled a move and cleanout for…read moremy senior mom, who was understandably overwhelmed at times. James Drake and his team were patient, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. My mom loved them. James is thorough, detailed, and professional. Communication was excellent from start to finish. He stayed responsive at every step and coordinated seamlessly with our move manager, which made a complicated situation feel manageable. We also faced intense New England weather challenges, and James and his crew stayed positive and can-do at every turn. They protected important belongings, set aside sentimental items like old photos, donated usable furniture and clothing, and provided receipts for tax purposes. They broom-swept the attic, basement, garage, and shed areas and flagged things like mouse activity so nothing was overlooked. What stood out most was their integrity and care. James even adjusted pricing when the job came in lower than estimated. We got quotes from several movers and cleanout crews before choosing them, and Drake's prices were very good. It has been a pleasure working with James and his team. I highly recommend Drake Cleanouts & Moving.

They then did not replace the pan when doing the work. The grout cracked again quickly (within 4 months), This strongly suggests the underlying issue (likely movement, moisture, or pan failure) was never fixed. Called the owner and he said we probably would have to replace the pan underneath.
