But my problem is... I booked them to load then unload, as this company was an option for my unload (separate booking). My move was about an hour and a half away, so I told the guy when he called that I had booked them for the unload too, not sure if it would be the same crew or not because of the distance. He just said okay.... Day of the move and the movers cancelled on me for the unload because drive time is included so I didn't book enough time. Well would have been nice to know when I talked to the guy who confirmed all this!!! I then had to book another company last minute costing an additional $300 and to top it off, I can't even get my refund for the unload because my bank account was a victim of fraud and apparently with 2024 technology there's no way to swap my refund to a different card. Gosh what an awesome thing to do to someone.

With real estate being so crazy right now, there were a lot of of delays, scheduling changes, and details being dropped and added almost on a daily basis - Compass was able to handle it all smoothly, professionally, and with great kindness and clear communication. They even gave me recommendations for a real estate lawyer and a Rhode Island real estate agent and both turned out to be wonderful. Compass is a family owned and run business, and every one of the employees are treated like family, and it shows. By the time my insane move was completed I felt like part of of the family too. However I was surprised when the movers showed up in a lawn service open trailer which had been cleaned out. In addition, the posts of the 4-poster were not protected during the trip and I didn't notice the three dings, two on the posts and one on the side rail, until I set the bed up (after they left). The whole bed was in pristine condition before being moved. I had emphasized that to the moving company beforehand; to handle it carefully. i have since filled in the scratches but I wish that they had taken more care withe the bed.
