He was so out of shape that he was gassed in the first three hours. He stood and watched the guy in the truck pack the truck. Training is not supposed to happen on the job if a client is paying for you as a worker. I'm 57 years old and I had more hustle in me than this young guy. Half way through the move they sent another guy to help out and keep the cost of 3 guys but he had smoked-up and also ran out of energy before the job was done. My boxes were all labeled and they piled them up in the living room. I had to ask them to bring them to the kitchen etc. They wanted me to pay before they were even finished. There's more to write, I just don't want to relive it. Not once did anyone act with urgency, I moved the entire storage unit myself. If I would have relied on the movers it would have cost me two more hours. The trainee scratched my kitchen table, I brought it to the lead movers attention, it did not factor into reducing the cost. If I damaged a clients property I would expect to be charged, no consideration was given when we paid the bill.

Danielle was my saving grace and kept me sane through this whole process. They worked with me and scheduling and made it all less stressful. The movers on both occassions showed up early and ready to go and were very professional. I recommend them 10000000%. I have used two other movers in the past ( I am begging to think my girl is either running from the law or in witness protection) and Movers of Honor quote came in about 10% higher. So why did I go with them? The veteran owned part made me first contact them and their other Yelp reviews made me give them a shot ( movers with great reviews are hard to find) What a genuinely nice group of 4 guys and they hustled. I had a packed 2 bedroom house on the second floor and stuff in the basement and they got everything loaded and unloaded and NOTHING damaged in 3 hours. My last mover had 3 guys and it took them 6 hours! I am only sorry to say that if all goes to plan I won't be using them again. Unless my girl really is on the run, then they'll be my first call. They showed up on time. The communication before hand was consistent, and they had the adequate # of folks to move the larger items. They wrapped them for care and unwrapped and set up things like I needed them too. They asked me where to place items and didn't just plop them down randomly. And they moved my items across town within the time frame and I didn't need to pay anything extra outside of what I was quoted as a final payment and my prepaid deposit. Certainly affordable and easy to contact.
