There was a period in time where if I went more than a week without ordering from here, it could only mean that something was wrong. Since I dont eat a lot, I would sometimes order from their lunch special and eat it for lunch and dinner. Their lunch special is about $5.25 to $6.25 and it comes with fried rice or white rice and soup or soda. Their portions are big. Fast, cheap and tastes good. This is a good standard Chinese take-out and I've ordered here for a few years. I took 1 star off for the amount of times they messed up my order (4-5 times in a few years), which usually happens when a new employee is taking the order on the phone. Also, they're not great at correcting their order mistakes. For example: They delivered a beef with broccoli instead of beancurd with broccoli. When I called them about it, they sent me the correct order and asked for the beef with broccoli back. While I don't eat meat and don't care for the beef dish, I was wondering what they do with the returned orders. I can see why a restaurant with low prices may have to do certain things to prevent people from taking advantage of such cases. Complete rip off ... my bill came to $11.75 and they charged $12.75 plus tax. I knew there would be a $12.00 and was willing to pay the extra .25 cents. When I called to ask why I was overcharged she told me she had to add $1.00 because of not meeting $12.00 min. She did not offer to refund the $.75. I don't know what the people in some of these reviews are talking about I have been ordering from this Chinese restaurant for over 13years I have never had a bad experience the lady and delivery men are the nicest one of the delivery men has become my friend over the years the food is always cheap and has very good portions I'm confused as to what the 1stars are about I definitely think these people should rethink those reviews personally I've only ordered through the restaurant specifically and never threw delivery apps because I always run into problems with any place I order from the delivery apps. I call to check on the status and the woman yelled at me that the driver called several times, but I had no missed calls and didn't hear the doorbell ring. This place is strictly Americanized Chinese takeout and they do a great job. I usually have a reaction to the MSG in takeout, so I order most of my food without soy sauce. It's a miracle how much better Chicken Lo Mein tastes as a basic stir-fry with a touch of salt. Point is, you can request that they tailor your order to your liking which is a definite plus.
