We went for happy hour so started with the happy hour menu and happy hour cocktails. Get the processo cocktail , honestly SOOO GOOD! The martinis were okay , they came with ice still crushed. We ordered a few things from the regular menu which was also delicious! Food was really good and service was on point with checking in. Truffle fries so good we ordered them twice

What a fabulous idea having a bar/restaurant attached to the movie theater and you can bring your drink/food with you. It's not a large place so get there early. The bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were tasty and the menu looked good. Had we known before hand we would have had lunch there instead of at home. But we did stop in for a drink while waiting for our movie. Happy hour is daily!!

I went to Nucky's for happy hour on a Friday with some friends. We sat at the bar. The cool breeze coming from the large open windows was wonderful. I enjoyed the relaxed ambiance. I ordered a margarita without mix and the bartender nailed it. This is my go-to drink and trust me, I've had some bad ones. Now on to the appetizers. We had cheesesteak egg rolls, clams in white wine sauce, Brussels sprouts with goat cheese and Caesar salad. Everything exceeded my expectations! It was delicious! The only thing that would have improved my experience was if the bread were the Formica sub roll and a more generous piece of bread to soak up all the yummy clam sauce. Im looking forward to my next happy hour at Nuckys!

Steamers, meatball, old fashion, bees knees

I'm being generous by giving 1 star. Had a reservation with my family for 7pm on a Friday evening. The first interaction at the hostess stand downstairs gave a quick glimpse into what the rest of the evening would hold. The hostess was visibility annoyed she had to check in guests and do her job. As a previous hostess myself, her level of customer service was disgraceful. Onto the dining experience - I will say the hostess upstairs was lovely, as well as the waitress. What we ordered: -old fashion: watered down bourbon with zero flavor. -bees knees: only part of the order that was good. Well balanced cocktail -ahi tuna appetizer: foul- sent back. I would have taken a picture of the tuna, but I didn't want to do that to my phone. Clearly frozen tuna, so over cooked, looked grey and disgusting. -meatball: watered down, tasteless marina sauce with a barely cooked, previously frozen meatball. Should have sent this back too. Inedible. -steamers: pretty hard to screw up steamers but they found a way. So salty that's all you could taste. -Burrata: Very strange assortment of things- cucumbers? Cherry tomato's? Tiny piece of cheese with no flavor I would rather eat a Wawa then ever eat here again. The prices they are charge are also abysmal for the quality.

Ahi Tuna

Recently dined at a local shore spot offering a pleasant New American menu. The beachside around the corner added a nice touch to the experience. We enjoyed the ahi tuna, which was fresh and tasty. The draft beer selection was good and complemented our meal well. The chicken buffalo bites had a nice amount of spice, and the French onion soup was rich and satisfying. We also tried the Caesar salad that was crisp, fresh and had good amount of dressing. The service was quick, making it an overall lovely place for a relaxing meal by the beach. A family friendly spot with an outdoor seating.

Hanger steak

It was sadly disappointing. Service was VERY slow. When ur appetizers come out before your drinks you know we are off to a bad start. The Nonna's meatball was dry and tasted burnt. The crab dip had very little taste and the whipped ricotta &cinnamon had nice texture and taste. We would wait a half hour for drinks and our bottle of wine....we'll our dinner arrived and we had to chase down the waitress to get it. The chicken Parm lacked flavor and plate presence. The short Rib Ragu was tender and flavorful but too much oil took away its potential greatness. The hanger steak had great plate presence but unfortunately was not hot at all. Def. Won't be back

Short rib tacos

We came for happy hour, which is every day 4-6pm. Overall great experience! The food is delicious, plentiful portions and unique menu. The short rib tacos need a sauce - something was missing. But overall our meal tasty! The service could use improvement- they need a host or crowd control in the Happy Hour downstairs area. Tables are first come first serve but we sat and it didn't seem like the server knew we were there. Once we got the ball rolling, it was fine, friendly service.

I am so happy this place finally opened up. They've really got a great spot going and it's right in our town! These are the kinds of places that make us locals realize how lucky we are to live here. First off, what a great location, beautiful building. They did an amazing job. I've now been here twice. Once for a quick cocktail and a movie, the other for dinner with the girls. We went all out and ordered a handful of appetizers from a pretty delectable selection. I gotta say, the French onion soup made a pretty lasting impression and I will absolutely be going back for that one. Everything else was delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice, even though I still can't wrap my head around fried avocado... that was pretty tasty as well. Service was wonderful and even the entertainment was great both times. However, the second time they were really rocking out. It's a considerably small space, so it's no wonder they were so loud. I am yet to have a sit down dinner in the upstairs level of the building, so I can't wait for that! Great jobs Nucky's. Highly recommend.

The bar occasionally offers live music, but my favorite time to visit is during the holidays, when they turn it into a festive Christmas spot with holiday beverages. There are fun decorations, strands of lights, Home Alone 2 playing on the televisions, and much more to really get you in the holiday spirit. I most recently tried the Pomegranate Margarita on their seasonal menu and thought it was excellent; it was not too sweet or too weak. I should note that there are rarely servers in the lounge area, so you typically need to go up to the bar to place an order, which can disrupt the flow of fun you might be having. Overall, I think the 1927 Lounge is decent on a normal day, but much better when they have a themed takeover happening.

The bartenders are fun, full of personality and make cocktails quickly. And then you have the speakeasy. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as soon as I walked in I noticed a male dancer up in the cage, followed by about 8 women in costume. The choreography was sexy yet very tasteful. They have acts that incorporate thrilling tricks that keep everyone on their toes. I could not help but take videos so I could show all of my friends and family back at home just how incredible it actually is. You will not be disappointed!

First, customers service was incredibly slow. The "use the QR code to check-in" method which after putting my name and info in told me to "continue to the front desk for check-in" what's the point of the QR if you still have to go to the desk. What a waste of time! Second, we reserved a King bed room. The concierge said our reservation was for an "as available" so they tried to put us into a 2 queen room. Had to pull up my reservation on the email to prove to her that's what we booked. Thanks for being difficult Doris. Third, be sure to have all of your toiletries! We forgot toothpaste and went to ask concierge if they had a travel size like some hotels/resorts provide for free. Nope, was told we had to buy it at the store. $3.75 for the travel size tooth paste. Great. Thanks. Fourth, we do not drink and just wanted a couple bottles of water. $5 for Dasani at the gift shop and $3.75 for a 12oz can in the vending machine. Wild prices. Cheaper at a pro football game. Finally... and I can't stress this enough. Why the hell do I have to pay to use a luggage cart? If you want to have a white glove style resort maybe provide freaking toothpaste and have a clean check-in service. Trying to charge us to use a luggage cart or force us to use bell service is crazy. I can see why Atlantic City has died. Good riddance to this kind of junk. Absolutely worthless. Customer service and good business practices are dead!

The Knife & Fork Inn is an institution! One of Atlantic City's oldest and most historic…read morerestaurants, the building pays homage to its roots as a speakeasy. The furnishings and interior have that old-school, classic appeal that makes the whole experience feel special. It's a fun atmosphere and a great choice for a proper occasion. Despite growing up down the Shore, I only recently made my first visit -- celebrating my birthday while visiting my mom. The menu doesn't stray too far into eclectic or new-school cooking concepts, but that's part of the charm. The classic approach fits the restaurant's history and character perfectly. We started with the Kobe sliders and crispy duck leg confit. The Kobe sliders were excellent, though I do have one small note: we expected all three sliders to include the caramelized onion, poivre, and cheese, rather than each slider featuring just one of the listed toppings. Since we ordered them to share and split each one in half, we found the concept a little odd! Great flavor, though. No notes on the crispy duck leg confit! The flavor was rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. I was especially glad this was available as an appetizer because I was eager to try it but hesitant to commit to it as my main course. The portion was generous and just right for two people to share. For dinner, I was excited to order the filet, and even more pleased to find that they truly understand a medium-rare cook. It was right on the money! I upgraded to include sautéed crab meat, which was absolutely delicious and a fantastic addition to the plate. The combination offered a wonderful variety of flavors and textures. We also shared the goat cheese potato au gratin, which was another win. It was easily large enough to share, so my advice is to go easy on the sides, even when dining with a group. The portions are ample! And of course, dessert was a must. With at least a dozen options on the menu, narrowing it down was no easy task, but I ultimately went with the sticky toffee pudding. An elite combination of flavors -- rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. I loved it! While it was certainly large enough to share, I finished the entire thing on my own because it was just that good. The Knife & Fork Inn isn't necessarily the kind of restaurant you casually pop into on a weeknight because you don't feel like cooking. It's an occasion-worthy destination, and one I'll absolutely return to for the next proper celebration. I can't wait to work my way through more of the menu! And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the excellent service, which helped make the whole evening that much more enjoyable. Whether you're a local or visiting the Shore, make a reservation and treat yourself to an excellent meal at this Atlantic City classic!
