Beautifully prepared. Perfect and simple presentation. Salmon. Mashed potatoes. Green beans. Delicious Sauce.

Chose this place per a colleague's recommendation for a best Gal Friends Birthday dinner. What a little Hidden Gem - wedged between two other yummy businesses on the main strip, it's tucked away but a pleasant & welcoming Ambiance once found The Food - It was Impeccably and thoughtfully prepared. I'm a lady who eats with her eyes, and this delivered a well rounded eating experience. The style is sleek sophisticated and a little abstract. Very cozy space with a comfortable arrangement of seating which made the space feel less cramped. I definitely plan to return with my other half for a cute date night. Also love A good BYOB - I recommend bringing your best or favorite bottles. Enjoy.

We are big fans of this beautiful and sophisticated little upscale Italian BYOB restaurant. Great service. Intimate vibe. Properly and thoughtfully prepared pastas and salads.

This was my first time visiting Stella. The space is very small and needs some sprucing up inside. Very little ambience. It's also very difficult to find parking in the Summer. The food was good but based on the reviews I was expecting to be blown away.. To be honest I was a little underwhelmed. Very limited menu and high price point for an average meal. On the positive side the service was excellent and its BYOB.

The ambiance is very dark and swanky. The food was good, and decently priced as well. I really enjoyed the meatballs and pasta, the mussels were just okay for me.

Menu at Stella is very limited, if you don't eat fish that is. They only had one chicken dish, alas, that chicken was delicious. The chicken dish is literally called, "Chicken". Chicken is perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. Sauce was cream based, rich, and smooth. The vegetables add a great contrast of sweet and savory. It's the right amount of food, not too much, not too little. The whipped potatoes as silky smooth and just scrumptious. The Short Rib with whipped potatoes was delicious as well, very tender meat. Charging for bread is the opposite of hospitable, and it's $7 for a tiny loaf of bread with some butter, it's downright a slap in the face to the customer. Service was spotty. Our waitress never brought out extra sauce that we asked for, didn't really refill our drinks, and when it came time for the check, it almost seemed like she avoided all eye contact with us. The food was excellent, but the charging for what should be complimentary, and poor service, could be improved upon.

I have been waiting to go to this place for a while and finally got The chance to on a Friday night. We had reservations at 6, which is probably the best time to go because it gets reallllly busy around 7, 730. By the time we left, people were waiting around in the front for their tables. The crowd at the beginning of our meal was primarily older white couples, but a younger crowd definitely started to fill by the time we finished. The ambiance is really nice - it's dark and decorated very New York/speakeasy-esque, with flashing black and white pictures on their velvet curtains, Neon namesake light, and dark walls. It's super cute in here... definitely not what you expect in Ventnor, but it's nice that way. We need more places like this in South Jersey because it seems like every single option is Italian with flatbreads and pasta. The service was great and the host was actually our waitress. We never felt rushed, even with people waiting for their tables, which a lot of places around here do. We definitely had time to finish our entire bottle, have good conversation, and enjoy a nice date night. The food was amazing. They had already won me over with the massive amounts of arugula (I'm obsessed with the stuff)... but the dates omg. They were the perfect mix of salty + sweet + Smokey. We also got the tartine, which was different in a good way. My boyfriend got the short rib, which he loved and was cooked perfectly. I had the veal and eggplant - amazing. For dessert, we finished with the apple pie w/ ice cream, but honestly it wasn't anything to write home about. That being said, I would still definitely 100% come back here to try everything else. 10/10!

We came on a Sunday night, first dinner seating is at 5:30 and there was a line waiting to get in when we arrived. Decor is dark and trendy, almost feels like you're in a small restaurant in NYC - very intimate and cool. We had the meatballs (not too much filling, mostly meat, which was refreshing) and the stuffed dates (delicious, very cheesey). Then I had the short rib (OMG, so good. Huge portion too) and hubby had the veal parm (delicious, not like a typical boring veal parm with loads of cheese and red sauce - this was prepared with a bottom layer of fried eggplant and topped with a rich brown gravy sauce and nicely carmelized veggies). -Bring cash and save yourself the 3% credit card fee. -plenty of meter parking on the street. -Don't get confused with the other restaurant two doors down. -Grab a Peace Pie (next door) for dessert! Even though they make homemade pies for their dessert menu, which could also be a good option!

I remember I tried to make a resy for the Thursday before LDW, and they were completely booked by 11am. Though, my aunt and uncle's hot tip is to just go snag some seats at the bar. For a party of 2 I'm sure it's worth the try. This cozy little spot is perfect for a date night. You are greeted with live piano music and perfectly dimmed light. The atmosphere is way more sophisticated than I was imagining- in a great way! Cocktails: we dined here the week of Thanksgiving and I'm still talking about the Farm Shrub Spritz: Lillet Blanc, Seasonal Farm Fruit + White Balsamic Shrub, Prosecco, Mint. I know, I know...it's super interesting combo...but listen- THE BALSAMIC IS THE STAR IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE! Sweet and tangy and perfectly complemented the food we ordered. I don't even remember what J got, but he liked it. LOL For appetizer we went with the burrata which was accompanied by melted plum tomatoes and sweet and roasted long hots, and some toasted bread. I was really not sure how I felt about this pairing but oh my goodness- a party in my mouth! I loved it. I went with the filet as my entree which came with marsala demi glaze, mashed potatoes, and grilled mushroom. Listen, not the best steak I've ever had, but it was very good. The sauce certainly enhanced the experience. J went with the duck. OMG!!!! I don't regret not ordering this, but it was delectable. The duck was so tender, the sun-dried cherry and orange reduction was a perfect sweetness, and I was especially impressed with the sides of bacon braised cabbage and sweet potato and butternut squash galette- aka cheesy sweet potato and butternut squash. To end the night, I got the banana cream pie- because DUH! And J went with the creme brûlée. I'm not going to deduct stars, but the service got extra slow towards the end even though the place completely cleared out. Regardless, I definitely would like to return (off season).

It appears I am because this place was packed on a March Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM! I love this space because it's all bar seating or high-top tables. Something about a high-top feels more festive. They have a great happy hour menu (all night long on Wednesdays in the winter) with select cocktails, wine, and appetizers at a nice discount. All 4 of us ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich, and wow, this was tasty. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries that accompanied it. Margate in the winter makes me even more nostalgic for the summer. We're almost there!

I opted to sit near the bar at a low table. In seconds my table was surrounded by the team, my server, the bartender and the owner, making me feel welcome and insuring I was comfortable. I was presented with multiple menus, all updated for the season, I selected the That Dill Though, it was there in two minutes, a tall glass with ice, vodka, dill syrup, lemon, Granny Smith apple, and prosecco, garnished with fresh dill. It was cool, refreshing and delicious. I discovered a lot of new items with creative flair and sounding amazing. I selected from the Prix Fixe menu. This is a new feature that includes an appetizer, main and dessert at a great cost saving price with various options. My appetizer was a Caesar salad, it included a generous portion of fresh crisp hearts of romaine, preserved lemon, parmesan, onion jam, croutons and just the right amount of house made creamy Caesar dressing. Together the flavors are an outstanding, the preserved lemon pieces offer a fresh pop and contrast with the onion jam. This is absolutely a must have, just writing about it is making me crave it again. My main was the Jail Island Salmon. It was beautiful and delicious. The Salmon is delectable the skin is perfectly seasoned and crispy, look at the photo how moist flaky and executed perfectly, It is perched atop wonderful butternut squash and chilled farro with apple and fresh parsley. This was without a doubt the best salmon I ever had. For dessert I enjoyed the house made cheesecake, it was so creamy, served with fresh strawberry slices blueberries and a fresh whipped cream a light dusting of powdered sugar and a mint leaf this was decadent, a very rich soufflé style, simply spectacular. My server was Manuel, very friendly professional and attentive. The entire staff checked on me, frequently including the Chef Michael who stopped at my table after every course was delivered. The restaurant is decorated nicely for the holiday with a great sound system playing excellent music. This was such a wonderful dinner that when I was leaving I opted to walk the beautiful grounds even though is was raining, just to prolong this exquisite culinary journey! This place is worthy of a visit when in Atlantic City. It's steps off the world famous Atlantic City boardwalk between Ballys and Resorts casinos on New York Avenue.

Good, good, good, good, good…read more I would give it 4.5 stars but that's not a thing so I gave it 4 stars and 5 goods. The girls picked this place, I just wanted to eat but I'm glad they did. It was a bit tricky getting into this place because maps told us to go to the backside of the restaurant and there was no entrance there but there were signs saying go here for this and go there for that but we figured it out, obviously. Soon as we walk in they seat us. There are a few others dining but it's not packed. There's a lively group sitting behind us and that's fine because it's daytime and it's meant to be lively. The setup was such that there was a constant draft. I don't really like drafts where I eat because too much can blow through and the food cools down faster but it wasn't that bad but it is why I didn't give it 5 stars. It was a little chilly that day also so that didn't help. It wasn't cool enough that we needed a jacket on but with the draft, maybe we should've put them on but who wants to eat with a jacket on? I ordered the chicken and waffle but substituted for french toast. The french toast was so good that there was no reason for syrup at all. The french toast was cooked perfectly and wasn't dry and already sweet so you didn't need syrup to make it sweet or to soften it up. It was perfect as it was and the eggs were light and fluffy. What does that even mean? Light and fluffy eggs? I heard that somewhere so I repeated it, lol but if I knew what that meant, I'm sure I would say these were that. Regardless, they were good. I love eggs! Please try this place. You will not be disappointed.
