Can't beat the atmosphere of this beachfront breakfast and lunch spot now in its first full season. With a view of the ocean and a friendly staff we will be back! The breakfast burrito and lobster Benedict were both very good

There is nothing like sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day enjoying a delicious breakfast. This was my first time at sand kitchen and it won't be my last. They are opened Memorial Day weekend till the middle of September. The place itself is small basically a shack with picnic benches under the cover then table after table on the sand leading to the ocean. Our server was friendly, didn't rush as along and gave us time to enjoy our meal. The French toast was a nice size. 3 large pieces of brioche bread with some fresh fruit. The breakfast quesadilla was loaded with egg, cheese, bacon, peppers and onion. With a side of guacamole which was amazing and a side of tomato and onion with cilantro. At first I felt the prices were a bit too high but the portions evened out the cost. Plus it's the summer at the shore on the beach of course things cost more.

My favorite spot in all of Ocean City! Cannot wait for it to reopen! The Lobster Benedict is my favorite item on the menu!

The food was very tasty here and it's a treat to eat practically on the beach. We came on a busy holiday weekend so it was understandably busy and a little slower than usual but the employees that were working were great. Solid breakfast spot.

This small little open air restaurant is absolutely delicious. The food was amazing and all fresh ingredients. Good variety of menu. Service was a tad slow but didn't bother us too much. Beautiful location right on the beach and trendy seating with surfboard tables. The seagulls are still present but not to disruptive. Being on the shore most people know to not leave food out for them to get. I had the lobster eggs Benedict and it tasty very good and decent lobster portion. My son had the Hawaiian bowl and he really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back again next year for breakfast and maybe lunch too.

great diner-style coffee

I can remember when this place was a hot dog shack that was only accessible via the beach. We have a house right down the road and I was PUMPED to see this place get a revival by the same team that owns Drip&Scoop, Dead End, etc. PROS: - ATMOSPHERE: this place has a great spot right on North beach with plenty of Adirondack chairs out front where you can sip coffee in the morning or eat lunch. The building itself is kind of a cool old beach shack that they have revitalized with some Island Vibes! - FOOD: definitely a great menu with plenty of seafood. I would be surprised if they don't have something you want to eat (breakfast, lunch, brunch) - COFFEE: its not fancy but they have the best black coffee I have found North of the Starbucks on Asbury Avenue. Definitely diner style and really good CONS: - PRICE: it is not cheap. we got french toast, a breakfast sandwich, coffees and juice for a total price of over $50 including tip. I am happy to pay that but that is because I am supporting a local restaurant in my neighborhood. Other's might hesitate. - SERVICE; we have eaten here twice and the service was lacking both times. Once was during the lunch rush but the other was at 7am and the place was empty. Sand House could really be next level if they up their service game. All in all, I love this place. I am so happy that they created something great in our neighborhood. I prefer to have my coffee and breakfast at home but this place definitely makes a compelling case..

Breakfast tacos. Yum and very filling!

Fair is fair. Revisited and had great breakfast tacos. Added one star and will add more if the improvement continues.

Food was good, service a little slow, prices a tad to high. Easy 4 stars if the sandwich was $3 less. Overall it's fine, decent food.

The food had a unique and interesting Caribbean flair throughout. Chicken tacos- they were very good with a decent price . It had a very good sauce. Crab quesadilla was ok, but needed a little more seasoning. The flounder Ruben was amazing. The Jamaican me crazy salad, was huge with mango, strawberries and chicken in a tortilla bowl. Almost too healthy. Can't go wrong with chicken tenders- the fries were nice and crispy. The restaurant itself had a nautical decor. It was really tight in the restaurant- almost too small for the amount of people in the place- they do have outdoor seating. Prices were on the higher side, but the amount of food made it feel worth it. My brother said this was the first time in awhile that he couldn't finish a meal. Make sure to make a reservation if you're coming with a group, and note that they close at 8 PM, so plan accordingly. Overall, a flavorful and memorable experience with very generous servings. Server was great. Even offered to take a picture of all of us.
