Came here with my husband for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and had such a great experience. The space is really eclectic and beautiful. Our waiter and the whole staff were super nice, and even the chef came out to check on us, which was a really thoughtful touch. Drinks were delicious--my husband had a spicy margarita called the Pool Boys, and mine was a sweet cocktail that was also really good. For dinner, I had the shrimp polenta, which was excellent, and my husband got the chicken parmesan. The chicken was tasty, though we were expecting it to come with pasta. This is the go to restaurant before the Hook show. We were there early and had reservations. Got sat in what felt like the bar area. Would have liked to get in one of the other rooms as there is a lot to see here! Take a walk around if it is not busy. Some good photo ops. You also sit very close to others in this section. We met some really cool folks. Ordered the Orichiette. Spicy sausage in a nice broth. Pretty task and plenty for 2 to share. Had a antipasto salad as well. Really tasty too and fresh. If you're in Atlantic City, Superfrico is an absolute must. This was hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, our server Jocelyn made the night unforgettable. She was fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best time. She even gave us a tour through the different rooms of the restaurant, which are filled with vintage memorabilia from the showgirls--mirrors, old photos, quirky details everywhere. It felt like stepping into a hidden world. For food, we started with the eggplant rollatini (perfectly cheesy and comforting) before diving into mains. I had the creamy pesto gnocchi, and I swear they were little pillows of heaven. My date went for the chicken parm and it was everything you want from a classic...crispy, saucy, and satisfying. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and the staff surprised us with prosecco on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. The highlight? Chef Noah Johnson himself came to our table to introduce the new fall menu and even brought out their pistachio cheesecake for us to try. Came here for the happy hour. The place is beautiful!! I checked out all the rooms and it's an experience for sure. The pink room was actual dressing room of the show girls in the 60s i believe. For the happy hour, got the pool boy and a Margherita pizza. The drink was delicious and bartenders here are super talented. It was mesmerizing watching them make beautiful drinks and lightening speed. The pizza, honestly it was disappointing. It's just a cheese pizza from a cafeteria but nice ingredients. Got the chicken parm and side of spaghetti. For the price, i had high expectations and was disappointed. The parm was crispy and not much flavor. The sauce which should have been the star was a basic. Spaghetti was over cooked. The food also came out just lukewarm. So in a matter of 5 mins, i was eating cold dinner. We had dinner on 8/15/24. It was quite an experience. The decor was very eclectic. It's somewhat dark in the dining room. My wife had the cheese pizza. It's a deep dish personal square pizza. It was very tasty, well cooked. They don't have spaghetti and meatballs on the menu. Wtf! I did order the appetizer meatballs a d a side dish of spaghetti, and I made my own spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very tender, although they were bland. I loved the sauce the meatballs were served in. Very flavorful. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly. The service was pretty good. Overall a unique experience. There are naked women on the wall, so if you're easily offended or too much of a prude, don't eat there. I wouldn't bring young children. read more

Been wanting to eat here for awhile, we were so excited to finally get to Superfrico! We had the garlic bread, calamari, burrata, cacio Pepe rice balls, steaks, lobster ravioli, chicken fran, gnocchi, signature drinks, and alll the desserts. Everything was amazing. Perfect portions, great variety on the menu. I already have to go back so I can get the rigatoni bolognese next! If you don't like tiramisu, this tiramisu will change your mind. Superfrico is an American psychedelic Italian restaurant located next to the Hook show in Caesar's Atlantic City. They provide an interactive type of experience as you dine where various actors from the show will come and do a mini performance. It's super enjoyable and so lively. Each room in this restaurant has an eclectic theme & you'll get to do a little tour at the end of your meal. Service was excellent & the food was awesome! It's a special occasion type of place since the menu items can be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth trying. Wow! How long has this hidden gem been open? The speakeasy feel of the place starts with going through the "stage door" to get in. You are then seated by the most enthusiastic people you have seen recently as the show that is dinner starts. For dinner, I had the CHOPPED ANTIPASTO - mixed greens, artichokes, olives, capers, pepperoncini, red onions, mozzarella, fried pepperoni which was amazing. My main dish was the GRILLED AUSTRALIAN LAMB CHOPS - mint chimichurri, lemon, pistachio which was equally good. Yes, everything is served family style. However, the portions make it easy to ignore that fact and just have what you ordered to yourself. Think of it as the best of both worlds. As you eat, some performers come around and do a variety of things to keep you entertained. Nothing lasts too long as to distract from eating. It is truly just a part of the background of Superfrico and an amazing dinner experience. Yes, this place is somehow attached to The Hook at Caesars. There is a push to get tickets if you book a reservation for dinner. I did not see the show, so I really have no idea how they work together or if they even do. Either way... as mentioned in one of the reviews here this is the most Vegas-like thing I have experienced in AC. Superfrico is a real all-around "experience" -- from the speakeasy-ish entrance to the theatrically designed rooms to the actual theater that happens throughout your meal at the restaurant. It's the closest thing to a Vegas feel we've seen in AC -- which I mean in a good way. We saw The Hook show before our dinner reservation but for those who don't, the performers who appear throughout the dining areas at random times -- say, a group of dancing lobsters dancing to "Rock Lobster" -- are both humorous entertainment and a great advertisement for what's happening at the theater next door (which is a hard to describe mix of raunchy comedy, burlesque, acrobatics, standup, striptease and more). The food is solid though almost the least exciting part of the experience -- it's basically high end red sauce Italian. Favorites were the meatballs appetizer and squid ink linguine vongole. If we'd been there in a larger group, definitely would have splurged for the table side mozzarella or the tomahawk steak (pastas here are reasonable but larger plates quite expensive). Service is a standout, with various restaurant personnel checking in constantly to be sure you're happy, and their cheerful attitude was a nice addition to the overall vibe. In the ongoing effort to make AC more like Vegas -- with restaurants and shows that feel a little more high concept and experiential -- would love to see Superfrico and The Hook succeed. read more

Found this mysterious restaurant while looking for good Italian food. To note, you don't have to go to a show to have dinner here- just walk up to the host to the right of the box office and let them know you just want dinner. Reservations are preferred, although we managed a late-night sitting without one. Our waiter Bryan was magnanimous and a delight. He helped me find suitable vegetarian options and suggested the delicious monkey garlic bread (don't worry...no monkeys were harmed in the making of this delicacy, but a lot of garlics were). The chicken parm my partner got was massive and delicious, and my penne vodka was sumptuous (like me). The tour of the back rooms was a trip back in time...highly recommend! read more

Fun atmosphere, traveling magician visited our table, lots to look at. The garlic bread was insanely delicious and we all loved the meatball appetizer. The veal Milanese was lovely - with a fresh zesty salad on top. The veal was cooked crispy but not dry at all, a bit too salty but the salad evened it out. The chicken Marsala had plenty of creamy gravy and was a big hit. A nice bar area was near our table and we had an after dinner cocktail there before heading into the show. read more

Superfrico was an amazing experience and and amazing meal. We came on opening night, and there were obvious beginning kinks that I will leave out of this review. Overall, the food was incredible and unique, the service and people working there were giddy with excitement for the opening of this fun new restaurant, and the decor was vibrant and trendy. The only thing holding back Superfrico from getting 5 stars from me was the price and serving sizes. The dishes were small, especially the main courses, for the high price tag they came along with, with the exception of the chicken parm - which I shared with my fellow diners so we could all have full bellies prior to seeing the Hook. The food was, however, delicious. The chopped antipasto salad with the crispy fried pepperoni was a great started. The chicken parm was by far some of the best I've had. Maintaining its crunch while absorbing the delicious sauce poured on top. It had the perfect chicken to sauce to cheese ratio. The homemade pasta was perfectly al-dente. I would have loved to see some bread accompany these dishes, or at least be offered on the menu, to soak up the rest of the sauce from the chicken parm or the frutti de mare. Everyone, from the hostess to our server and bussers were so completely pleasant; it made the experience extra special. We have been to both the Superfrico in Las Vegas and now Atlantic City. Although, this is a cool addition to Atlantic City, it's a bit overpriced for the area. They no longer serve bottomless mimosas which they originally advertised on their brunch menu so we were bummed to find this out. Instead my friend ordered a Titos & soda which was a whopping $21 and a Diet Pepsi was $7. Whereas, an espresso martini would have been about $18 on the cocktail menu. Food was all very tasty (pizza, pancake, and avocado toast) and the server was very polite. However, note to self, stick with the cocktail menu. read more

Birthday dinner with friends so we treated ourselves to caviar and Prosecco along with a bunch of starters: the chopped antipasto salad, steamers, tableside mozzarella, and garlic knot monkey bread. OMG their menu descriptions don't do their food justice. Antipasto salad was of the best salads I've ever had. The tableside mozz is perfect for a group. Watching them stretch out the mozz is amazing.' It also comes with a platter of assorted charcuterie like salami, mortadella, prosciutto, artichokes, roasted red peppers and the most delicious olives you will ever eat! We mopped the fennel lemony broth from the steamers with the garlic knot bread. Ridiculously good! The apps were generously sized so we shared entrees. Everything was freakin' fantastic. We ordered the chicken parm, halibut francaise, and rigatoni amatriciana. Halibut was its crusty exterior and buttery soft inside. The pasta set a new standard for delicious with its guanciale (Italian bacon) and tomato sauce. We also did shots of "pool water", passionfruit and vodka. Ambiance was equally impressive. Performers from The Hook walk through randomly through the night to shake things up. We saw the contortionist! There's never a dull moment between the fantastic food and entertainment. We had tickets to see The Hook next door and had to skip dessert but they allowed us to take our last round of cocktails with us. Overall, four stars even though this place was just ok. The fact that performers from the hook came in, made it really cool. And the food tasted pretty good. But, it's described as a psychedelic experience and I don't know what that is exactly. I was expecting some kind of beautiful presentation or foam on my dishes or colorful something, but it was all very vanilla. There weren't any fun flavors or dishes. Service: Our waitress didn't really know the menu or the restaurant. When we asked what dish was better or what we should get, she said "I don't know- I haven't tried anything." She couldn't find the wine we ordered. She brought the wrong one at first and then it took 25 minutes to get that correct one. At one point I questioned if she actually worked there or if someone was playing a trick on us and pretending to be our waitress. The menu wasn't very inventive. As a person who eats gluten free, I didn't find the menu that accommodating (which was fine and to be expected) until I randomly asked if they had gluten free pasta- to which the waitress responded "I think so, but I don't know what it looks like." I'm thrilled they did! But they should advertise that! And let the waitresses know so they can tell the patrons! This sounds quite negative, but our experience wasn't all bad. We were quite entertained! I just don't think I'd eat here if I hadn't gone to the Hook first (which I highlyyyyy recommend). read more

Food was disappointing and small portions. I ordered eggplant rolatini for my entree. I had to send it back because the ricotta contained crushed red pepper which made the dish spicy. I wound up with an order of the branzino which I cancelled because my husband was done with his meal, and it took about 25 minutes and still no meal for me. My husband had two refills of ice tea. Never in restaurant were we charged for refills. They did finally come with the branzino after I cancelled and let me take it to go without a charge. We had garlic bread and paid 16 dollars for four small pieces of bread. There was no entertainment as advertised The best part was the dessert we shared an order of tiramisu however the manager said it would be no charge and we paid 15 for a free dessert. At this point we just paid for it Bottom line. Not worth the hype. There are way better restaurants around the city with better food, and better portions. Spend your money elsewhere. Chicken Parm is the best thing on the menu. Cool place for some entertainment as the restaurant is next to HOOK the production. It was fun for drink n apps and just to enjoy the energetic atmosphere as some of the actors come through to go on stage. Very Loud! So not a great place for conversations. read more

That alone is worth 5 stars.. Food..For starters we ordered the calamari and beef tartar.. They were both amazing and prepared well, the beef was fresh, and the calamari was light and crispy... we also had the crab meat pizza.. this was deep dish style and amazing as well.. now on to the mains..this is where the food got a little disappointing.. the featured fish was a cod I beleive it was, it tasted like it was either cooked from frozen and/or overcooked. They should probably take that off the menu to save face. We also had the steak, which was pretty good just needed a little salt and it was good to go.. we added on the truffle butter, it was pretty bad.. Next was the short rib, again underwhelming, it sat on a bed of artificial tasting creamy potatoes. For side dishes we got creamed potatoes, which tasted like boxed potatoes and lacked flavor, and broccoli rabe, which was a little underwhelming flavor wise. Drinks: were all awesome. We even got a couple free shots of the "pool boy" for participating in an impromptu performance All in all, we had an amazing time and would definitely be back. It's definitely a 10/10 for our experience. We stayed at the Cesar's hotel and decided to book a brunch and a show, "The Hook". The hostess greeted us with such a warm welcome, even offered us a tour of the restaurant. It's a very fun establishment. The staff from the show walks around and interacts with the customers. It was my birthday and everyone was super nice. They even gave me a birthday card when I walked in. The ambiance is super fun and eccentric. Can't forget the food. We shared the chopped antipasto salad, which was fresh and tasty. We both ordered the brunch burgers. I added the fried egg. We both enjoyed it, the meat was cooked well to our liking and juicy.
