After a search for some good local food I found this place on Yelp and it did NOT disappoint!! Came for breakfast coffee was super hit and delicious and the breakfast burrito was huge! I only ate half and I was so satisfied. Friendly waitress was also working the counter and helping in the kitchen.. small family restaurant full of great food! Highly recommend!

Sausage, Steak, Chicken... tacos, all around excellent. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or...other. Food was freshly cooked had to wait a few but was worth the wait. Excellent all around..save to my favorites for Atlantic City. Support local business and build the community...would definitely come here again when in town.

Hole in the wall...but worth it!

The best restaurants are always the unexpected hole-in-the-wall places, and Salt & Pepper proves that point 100%. We stopped in on a random Sunday evening, intrigued by the high ratings. From the outside, you would never know this place is so fantastic. There were several folks inside, and the server took our order quickly. Soon I was staring at a perfect and overflowing plate of Mojarra Frita (fried whole fish) with a side of Mexican rice and salad and a basket of tortillas. Bite after bite, plenty of well-cooked fish (look out for the bones!). It kept me busy for at least 30 minutes, savoring each part of the fish. If you're ever in Atlantic City and want an authentic, well-prepared dish, stop by and try Salt & Pepper - you won't be sorry!

Was scrolling on Yelp looking for a brunch place and saw a photo a breakfast cheeseburger at Salt & Pepper and made it my mission to try. The ironic part is that I ended up getting an omelet. Salt & Pepper is a small family run Mexican spot serving up delicious food all day long. Perfect for small groups that want to have some awesome bits after a long night out. Ended up getting Rancheros and various tacos. Everything was great. Staff is very attentive even when the takeout/delivery line is jumpin (busy). Next time I find myself in AC, I'm coming back.

My Husband wanted to try this local spot he saw on Yelp. It's small with a small eating area. A young lady greeted us and told us we could seat ourselves and she came and took our orders. We ordered several items, everything was tasty and came out hot. We would like to return when we come back to AC again.

Really great place. Small, clean, one guy working the entire kitchen, managing 20 things on the plancha at the same time, and they all come out amazing. I have had many many lengua tacos. These surpassed them all by a mile. The meat was so soft and juicy and flavorful. The birria tacos were very good. The torta huge and delicious. If I were to sum this place up in one word it would be either fresh, quality, or FLAVOR. And everyone is nice, and the homemade salsas should be bottled and sold.

Complete rip-off. The burnt food isn't remotely worth their price-gouging rates. To top it off, they hid the receipt to steal my change and only gave it back when I forced the issue. Disgusting food, dishonest staff. Avoid.

We ordered BBQ wings, Beef Nachos and Carne Asada Tacos!

We ordered Carne Asada Tacos, Beef Nachos, and BBQ Wings. They were all so delicious and ready to pick up within 20 minutes, it was so much food for 47 dollars! I wish we could pick up the restaurant and bring it home with us!

A little hole in the wall kinda place! We were looking for a place to eat for breakfast and came across this little place. We were kinda skeptical to go in because we thought it was close, turned out the sign was just little. Came in greeted and sat immediately. We only saw two workers, the server/ cashier and cook. We ordered their coffee first (wanted hot chocolate but it was not available) we then ordered different ones. All were amazing and flavorful, they made everything fresh! They only have few tables so if you come in a group better to call ahead of time. Ohhh! Not forgetting the flan! It was firm and so good plus not that sweet! We will definitely be back!!

My girlfriend and I decided to try this local spot out while down in AC for a conference. Absolutely delightful, lots of food, not too expensive and very tasty. Will definitely be a go to spot when back down here.

I was attracted by the local small hole in the wall charm , i was hoping for a surprise or a hidden jem . The place was not crowded and I expected more effort in the food . I would say there was poor effort and poor execution os mexican food . The breakfast was not so good. I hope this experience was only for me and they become better . Thrre is charm . And there is parking across the street for 5 usd

Food was delicious the order of chorizo sopes had three which came with two sides of green and red hot sauce. The fish soup was good but mostly crustacean and slightly spicy it came with a side of rice, tortillas, lime cilantro and onions. The server was very friendly as well. It's a small place but very good.

Salt & Pepper is a cash only small restaurant located on Pacific which is just one block from the Boardwalk. Inside it's very plain with an ordering counter in front of the small kitchen with an adjacent small dining room. I think most of their patrons get their food to go. I visited for lunch last week and ordered a cubana torta with fries for $17. I added a Mexican coke to drink. If you dine in like I did they provide table service. The meal arrived in less than 15 minutes after ordering. My picture doesn't due justice to the size and thickness of the torta. It consisted of meat, lettuce, tomato, avocado and beans. This was a very good tasting and filling sandwich. Honestly, it was more than I could eat. Also the fries, were hot and seasoned and good. I enjoyed them too. This is a very simple restaurant that serves very good food at attractive prices.

Breakfast burrito without peppers, onions and avocado, only scrambled eggs, chorizo and black beans.

We finally tried the Borgata Buffet and honestly I do not understand some of the bad reviews…read more Yes it is a casino buffet so the price is higher at around 43 per person, but there are definitely ways to get it comped or discounted, and for the quality you are getting it actually feels worth it. The variety is great and everything we tried tasted fresh and well made. Nothing felt like it had been sitting too long and the staff was constantly maintaining the stations. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

A pretty solid buffet considering there aren't many buffet options in the area!…read more Sushi - dry and tasted fake Seafood - all of their fishes were the highlight of the offerings! The carving station had a salmon larger than I've ever seen too. Also appreciate that they offer a spiced version of the cocktail shrimp. Meats - prime rib was very dry and overcooked but the grilled steak has really great taste Everything else is pretty standard for a buffet. Huge compliments on all of the sauces they offer to go along with your food (steak sauce, au jus, melted butter, etc.).
