Handmade tortillas. Handmade tortillas. I wrote it twice because that's what makes the difference…read morefor me to really taste the difference from other tacos that use premade ones. Limited menu but with a lot of meat options. I do however have to recommend the burrito over the tacos! While this burrito you can't really eat with your hands it definitely doesn't disappoint with flavor. Like I said the handmade tortilla and the mozzarella cheese makes it out of this world! Every time the voices come back to my head to go to Atlantic City I can't miss out on Pancho's! Area is kinda hard to notice but it's right behind bass pro and next to the sub place. And it seems they do try to make their restaurant more put together by updating their look which I'm glad I seeing them do so good. Overall this place is definitely a place to try if you want Mexican food and get easy service from the owners.

Pancho's is a perfectly fine taco spot. I went with my girlfriend on a Saturday night and it wasn't…read moretoo packed so we got a table right away. The place is a decent size so there are plenty of seats. It's certainly a hole-in-the-wall, no frills type of place. You're not coming here for the ambiance. We really wanted tacos, so that's all we ordered. We were disappointed to find that you couldn't really mix and match the meats. 1 order comes with 3 tacos so if you aren't coming with a big group or if you're not trying to have 30+ tacos you will be limited in what you can try. I wish I could've tried all of their tacos but I wasn't interested in taking a ton to go. We settled on the Tripa, Lengua, Cachete Res, and al Pastor. The tacos came out pretty quickly and they were pretty good. The meats were flavorful and the tortillas were solid. They weren't the best tacos I've ever had, but they were good. Aside from not being able to order just 1 taco, my other gripe is the price. 1 order of tacos is $15 and $5/taco is a little steep in my opinion. Sure these tacos are bigger than your average taco, but as someone who likes to order a variety I have to dock points. I wouldn't mind coming back to Pancho's, but it wouldn't be my first choice for food in AC.

Breakfast Burrito: 5/5 must try! it was amazing. One of the best breakfast burritos I have had and well worth the price! They did not skimp on the fillings and everything melded together nicely with that crisp tortilla. Paired with well executed homefries just brought you an amazing breakfast that leaves you happy and full to the brim. 100% a must visit if you are in AC.

Wow, Mexican food in Atlantic City is not what I have come to expect as a lifelong AZ girl. From…read morethe reviews I had high expectations for the food at Salt and Pepper. We came in for dinner on our first night in town, because it was near our vacation rental. The cook, cashier and waitress was very busy, so we took seats in the side dining area and she got to us eventually. My standard taqueria order is carne asada tacos so that what I got here... three tacos no side because that's what was on the menu. Husband ordered a chicken burrito with rice and black beans. The plates looked pretty good, but the carne asada was full of large chewy inedible pieces that really ruined the experience. The tacos were also two corn tortillas each and very dry, so I added some of the excellent hot sauce from the bottle she brought us with the meal. I should have asked for avocado or guacamole to supplement the tacos. Salsa helped, but I had to pull out of my mouth (and put aside) about a third of each of the nasty gristly contents of three tacos so I really only got two. Fine, whatever. The chicken burrito was moist and packed with more rice and beans. The side rice was very dry, I suppose better if mixed with the saucy black beans. Anyway he consumed it all. We paid the bill at the counter and left, not sure we were even thanked for dining by the busy gal or the man hanging around the counter. Small businesses need all the help they can get to survive so I can hope they are getting plenty of support from the community to dine here. I will seek better options next time.

The price is amazing, quality is outstanding, extremely authentic and service was great. A very small restaurant with maybe 3-4 tables but everything is very tight and a bit hot. No AC but one fan. My bf and I stopped by and we were the only ones dining inside, but the door constantly opened with customers picking up food. Our waitress was the friendliest and cutest person ever. Very happy and loved her job. This restaurant does not come with complimentary chips and salsa and the food (besides entrees) do not come with sides. However, the taste and quality is out of this world and so worth it! We ordered shrimp tacos, which came with 3pieces and extremely fresh. We also shared an order of the original tlayuda and chose mixed meat since the waitress recommended it. Very heavy and filling. Can't wait to come back and try other items off the menu!

It had good reviews and Google suggested I might like it based on places I've been to here in Baltimore. So, you know I had to cross reference on Yelp, my most trusted source of recommendations. Yelp said, yes ma'am and I said say less. After some rooftop drinks at Vue bar, I stopped in for takeout. I only browsed the menu briefly, but I knew when I saw huaraches and tlayuda it was going be a hit! There's nothing like authentic Mexican. While I wanted to try a little bit of everything, I'm only one girl and I was traveling solo, so I ordered steak nachos, an al pastor torta, and a single lengua taco. The way I inhaled those nachos, the roof of my mouth be damned! They were so simple, just black refried beans, meat, queso fresco and some pickled veg, yet so delicious. The lengua taco had more of a shredded consistency than the tender chunks I'm used to, but the flavor was yummy and the torta was still great 3 days later. 10/10 would recommend!
