The plates looked pretty good, but the carne asada was full of large chewy inedible pieces that really ruined the experience. The tacos were also two corn tortillas each and very dry, so I added some of the excellent hot sauce from the bottle she brought us with the meal. I should have asked for avocado or guacamole to supplement the tacos. Salsa helped, but I had to pull out of my mouth (and put aside) about a third of each of the nasty gristly contents of three tacos so I really only got two. Fine, whatever. The chicken burrito was moist and packed with more rice and beans. The side rice was very dry, I suppose better if mixed with the saucy black beans. Anyway he consumed it all. We paid the bill at the counter and left, not sure we were even thanked for dining by the busy gal or the man hanging around the counter.
