    Margarita flatbread. Not much taste
    Alex T.

A welcome addition to the Somers Point restaurant scene. It's new so I am going to give them some slack. We have visited twice with different experiences. First off, the service both times was very good, friendly and efficient. 1st Visit: Packed house for a sporting event. A lot of energy in the place. Visually the inside is very appealing. Think of a PJ Whelihans but nicer. TV's everywhere and of course tuned in to sports. A little noisy but that didn't bother us. Gianna was our service and she was great! Orders of wings, mild sauce, Cheeseburger and Shrimp tacos. Burger was cooked a perfect medium and was juicy and tasty. French fries were ok. Shrimp tacos according to my wife were very good. The wings were excellent. We like the breaded wings but you can order them "naked" if you like that better. The mild sauce was more of a medium rather than mild. Caramel cake for dessert was very good as well. First visit was a 4.5! 2nd Visit: Ordered Cheesesteak, margarita flat bread, Seafood combination. Cheesesteak was excellent. Good chop on the meat and quality meat that was flavorful. Margarita flat bread was not good. It was flat bread with mozzarella cheese, grape tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar drizzle. Balsamic overpowered everything else but this did not have a good taste. Lastly, the seafood combo can be avoided. Hard for them to compete in this area with Crab Trap just across the way. I wouldn't normally order seafood combo at a what is clearly a sports bar. This fell short on each level. The "crabcakes" were tiny and tasted like filler. The scallops were just ok and supposedly the kitchen had switched to a different scallop because the other ones were not good. The shrimp were ok. The broccolini was tough and not cooked enough. The mashed potatoes were garlicky and salty. This was a complete miss at $36. Now if I was reading this, I would be saying to myself "what did you expect! You ordered seafood at a sports bar!" And to some extent that is true, but you have it on the menu, so it should be good and this was not. 2nd visit score 2.5 but the cheesesteak was excellent. So total score between the visits I would put at a 3. Wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, tacos were all very good. Will return for sure.

There is no shortage of TV screens(they ring the entire dining room) to watch your favorite team, just don't expect to listen to them. Websters dining room is spacious & bright, no struggling to read the menu - but IMHO that's about the only upside. It's loud, and the food and drinks were pretty average. My wife's spicey pineapple margarita didn't have much pineapple flavor. My house orange crush started out tasty, but the glass was easily 3/4 ice. The fried cheese curds were a little salty, definitely not enough honey to compliment the savory and the chipotle dipping sauce did nothing for them. My five wings were tough, pretty anemic and not at all crispy. The cup of blue cheese definitely wasn't enough for my portion. Upside was the mild sauce was tasty and had just enough kick. On the whole, it was just OK.

Loved it so much! The food preparation and presentation were so delicious. Had the calamari, guac and chips, and seafood mac & cheese. Everything perfect! Service was great--particularly for a restaurant that's been open for only a short time. Loved the restaurant and bar set up. Plenty of huge televisions to watch your favorite sports programs. Really can't wait to go back soon! Did I mention the cocktails? Had the Tangtini--so cool and nostalgic! Try Websters's it's the best new restaurant in South Jersey!

    Nice merchandise.

The place was packed and there was no where to sit at the bars or tables. finally there were seats open at the middle bar between the inside and outside bars. the bartenders were super rude to us. my one friend doesn't even drink and wanted to get dessert, my other friend never gets to go out and wanted a drink. I ordered my drink and when I asked my friend what she wanted he told her she was cut off and couldn't have one. we were so confused as we had just gotten there and didn't know what she had done wrong. so I got my drink and we went into the other bar to see the band and then the bartender continues to tell the other bartenders not to serve her, Idk if he knew her personally and didn't like her or what the problem was. normally I would ask to speak to manager and complain as I used to be a catering and bar manager at the casinos in atlantic city and would want to know if one of my employees was out of line but we just wanted to leave because we felt like everyone was staring at us and very uncomfortable. we usually go to yesterdays every other weekend when we come down here but they lost my business after that. worst experience I ever had trying to take a friend out for her birthday.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

Here is a breakdown of my two most recent experiences. During a solo outing with a friend, we arrived just before 4 PM to grab two coveted bar stools right as happy hour began, which now starts at 4 PM instead of 3 PM. I went with my usual two happy hour pepper creek punches and paired them with the happy hour fried chicken sandwich, adding a side of very good hand-cut fries for an extra $2. The portion was large enough that I brought half of the sandwich home for lunch. Bartender Trevor offered a sample of their malty nitro center of gravity english mild draft beer (4.5% ABV), and I loved the notes of toffee, chocolate, and toasted bread so much that I ended my dinner with two full glasses. Thanks to excellent service from bartenders Bill and Trevor, my solo total came out to a reasonable $36 before tip. On my next visit, I brought my family of four on a Wednesday around 6 PM. We were instantly accommodated at booth table 53 on the right side of the restaurant. They had recently updated their regular menu, and I decided to try the Korean beef bowl for $24, which features soy marinated sliced steak, vegetables, greens, an umami glaze, a fried egg, and spicy mayo served over basmati rice. Our server, Cate J., took wonderful care of us, and the total bill for the family was $152 excluding gratuity. Whether for happy hour or dinner, we will absolutely keep coming back.
