I've been coming down to Ocean City my whole life for summer vacation, and I've never been to a place as nice as Webster's Tavern. There's plenty of parking, the restaurant is big and spacious, and clean! I took my toddler to the bathroom and even the restrooms were super clean. The food was great, nice variety, very reasonably priced drinks, and the waitresses we had were personable and had a funny attitude. Great service, great place! Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Glad we went on the early side (5:30) as we waited less than 15 minutes for a table. Our waitress (Liv) was very helpful and friendly. She stopped by multiple times to check on us which was great. We ordered nachos to split as an appetizer. It was a generous serving. The chips were deliciously crispy. They tasted great, but honestly we were disappointed in how little seasoned ground beef was on them since it was an additional charge for the meat. The cilantro lime crema was delicious--I'd ask for double of that and pass on the chili lime crema next time. When we ordered we said we would be splitting a smash burger as well. What a nice surprise that the kitchen split the burger and the fries for us! The fries were perfectly hot when the plates were delivered. The room was a bit noisy, but I've definitely been in places that were louder. There were many TVs throughout the dining room so you could see whatever sporting event was on from any location in the place. All in all it was a good time and we will go back again. Stopped in for a drink and a lite bite at their bar. I was alone. It was pretty crowded but I found parking right away. Was able to enjoy fairly quick service. Ordered a beer and shrimp tacos. The tacos were pretty tasty. Was able to enjoy a meal and drink while watching the Phillies game. It's busy and loud. But you can still talk. Lots of TVs. Good place to watch sports with family or friends. Not sure how long it takes to get a table though. I saw lots of people waiting outside for tables. read more

A welcome addition to the Somers Point restaurant scene. It's new so I am going to give them some slack. We have visited twice with different experiences. First off, the service both times was very good, friendly and efficient. 1st Visit: Packed house for a sporting event. A lot of energy in the place. Visually the inside is very appealing. Think of a PJ Whelihans but nicer. TV's everywhere and of course tuned in to sports. A little noisy but that didn't bother us. Gianna was our service and she was great! Orders of wings, mild sauce, Cheeseburger and Shrimp tacos. Burger was cooked a perfect medium and was juicy and tasty. French fries were ok. Shrimp tacos according to my wife were very good. The wings were excellent. We like the breaded wings but you can order them "naked" if you like that better. The mild sauce was more of a medium rather than mild. Caramel cake for dessert was very good as well. First visit was a 4.5! 2nd Visit: Ordered Cheesesteak, margarita flat bread, Seafood combination. Cheesesteak was excellent. Good chop on the meat and quality meat that was flavorful. Margarita flat bread was not good. It was flat bread with mozzarella cheese, grape tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar drizzle. Balsamic overpowered everything else but this did not have a good taste. Lastly, the seafood combo can be avoided. Hard for them to compete in this area with Crab Trap just across the way. I wouldn't normally order seafood combo at a what is clearly a sports bar. This fell short on each level. The "crabcakes" were tiny and tasted like filler. The scallops were just ok and supposedly the kitchen had switched to a different scallop because the other ones were not good. The shrimp were ok. The broccolini was tough and not cooked enough. The mashed potatoes were garlicky and salty. This was a complete miss at $36. Now if I was reading this, I would be saying to myself "what did you expect! You ordered seafood at a sports bar!" And to some extent that is true, but you have it on the menu, so it should be good and this was not. 2nd visit score 2.5 but the cheesesteak was excellent. So total score between the visits I would put at a 3. Wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, tacos were all very good. Will return for sure. read more

There is no shortage of TV screens(they ring the entire dining room) to watch your favorite team, just don't expect to listen to them. Websters dining room is spacious & bright, no struggling to read the menu - but IMHO that's about the only upside. It's loud, and the food and drinks were pretty average. My wife's spicey pineapple margarita didn't have much pineapple flavor. My house orange crush started out tasty, but the glass was easily 3/4 ice. The fried cheese curds were a little salty, definitely not enough honey to compliment the savory and the chipotle dipping sauce did nothing for them. My five wings were tough, pretty anemic and not at all crispy. The cup of blue cheese definitely wasn't enough for my portion. Upside was the mild sauce was tasty and had just enough kick. Loved it so much! The food preparation and presentation were so delicious. Had the calamari, guac and chips, and seafood mac & cheese. Everything perfect! Service was great--particularly for a restaurant that's been open for only a short time. Loved the restaurant and bar set up. Plenty of huge televisions to watch your favorite sports programs. About a 30 minute wait around 6pm on a Thursday. Service was pretty good for how busy they were. Well-rounded menu. Average ambiance. Ordered the cheese curds- delicious, but they need to add honey to the menu description. I loved it, but it may be unwelcome to some. Had sheet pan nachos. The menu states guacamole. The waitress basically dismissed us and told us the creama was guacamole obviously 2 different things- but she was adamant we were wrong. If they are not adding guacamole it needs to come off the description. Huge disappointment. The nachos were just okay. At our table tuna nachos and a burger were hits. Your choices are flatbread, couple of appetizers and if you get a salad you have to get the meat on the side for your dogs. 13 beers on tap all pretty standard except for Somers Point Brewing Flake News. Minimal wine list. Seating is a large bar with lots of high tops and booths around the edges. Plentiful parking in their lot. Twenty plus TV's. Greeted quickly at the bar and quick service on the beer and then gone. Sat with beer and menus for 29 minutes and decided not to have anything to eat at that point. read more

Great sports bar atmosphere and the food is tremendous. Even when there's a crowd service is spot on and wait staff & bartenders are flawless. For a place that opened up a month ago, it's absolutely amazing. This is coming from a guy who has been from Belize' to Los Angeles. This restaurant is one of the best in the area. I had the filet mignon and It was cooked to perfection. Just left. I was hoping this would be the antidote to the existing SP pubs, since the Anchorage has gone down hill since the change over. If I could describe the space it would be sterile. TVs everywhere and no charm. My gripe is that I was there during happy hour, beers are supposed to be $1 off, I checked online Slack Tide Angry Osprey is listed as $7.00, so happy hour price SB $6.00, she charged me $7.50. Instead of making a scene I left, I won't be back. They just opened its far too soon for this to happen, the website should be in sync and the bartenders should know it's happy hour. read more

08AUG2026, Saturday night. After an eventful day in the emergency room, we tried to get something to eat and calm our nerves at Webster's Tavern. Inside there are so many TVs surrounding the whole bar and restaurant. It has a very family yet sports bar atmosphere. The four of us all had very good meals and the wait staff was very friendly, and is also not overly priced there, with a large selection. The big win was after the meal after our hectic day in the emergency room. We go out to our car and the battery is dead. Being on vacation and not having much to work with, we go back inside and the owner of the establishment brought his own personal car out tried to jump our car, but that didn't work. He then offered to take my mother and father back to the hotel while my wife and I stayed with the car waiting for a service truck. When he returned, after dropping off my parents, he asked if we would like to have a drink while we waited very nice, but we didn't take him up on that offer. I would definitely like to thank him, Chris Webster, again for everything he did and I will definitely be coming there again! read more
