If you are looking for the perfect Santa Fe "vibe," this is exactly where you need to be! The atmosphere is absolutely electric yet incredibly welcoming. With husband and son, we enjoyed the industrial-chic interior, there is a sense of community here that you just don't find everywhere. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay for "just one more" round. While the beer list is impressive, I have to give a special shout-out to their Root Beer. It was absolutely delicious--crisp, flavorful, and the perfect treat. It's so refreshing to find a brewery that puts just as much love into its craft sodas as its ales! We popped in for lunch after visiting the nearby farmer's market in the railyard district and were warmly greeted by the uber-friendly staff. You order at the counter and find seating in the large indoor or outdoor areas, and they were happy to let us sample a few brews before making our selection. I went with an Oktoberfest, and they have a few award winners to select from. Everything we tasted was great! I ordered the chicken caesar salad. The portion was deceptively gigantic. I eat a lot and I could barely finish it. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and the dressing seemed homemade. My only complaint was that there were far too many anchovies on top making it salty. If you're looking for a brewery, this one is a great stop! read more

First time and I was not disappointed. Came in shortly after it opened which turns out was a good thing. After the Saturday market was about done, people came flooding in. They have a huge variety of beer, a few non alcoholic, a root beer & wine options. *no cocktails (at least none that I saw, maybe downstairs) loved the set up, huge bar, lots of drinking options. Tons of seating outside and the brewery shirts were super cool. I ordered the knuckolls burger (it was a smash burger) sauce was fantastic and those pickles were yum! I love fries and these were great. Salted perfectly. Bartenders were great. Even though it was crazy busy they kept their cool and handled everyone kindly. This is a fine place to grab a bite and a brew when visiting the railyard district! We sat at the bar on a weekday afternoon, and a few patrons and groups were scattered through the space. The bartender/server was friendly and helpful. A big chalkboard lists what's on tap, and four of the selections were Nuckolls beers: a pils, an ale, a hefe, and a collab with Beer Creek Brewing Co. called Danielweizen. The collab was my fave; the pils and ale were both very mild. They offer full and half-pours, so it was easy to try several. The shrimp tacos were okay; they were topped with lots of avocado sauce (which tasted much like ranch dressing) and chopped cabbage. On the side were a large portion of mango salsa in a cup and a bit of green salad (lettuce and chopped tomatoes). Overall the balance of shrimp v. veggies seemed off, there was too much sauce, and the tortillas were greasy. The price was right, though: just $8 for three tacos. Other food looked good! Also in our order: a generous serving of fish and chips, which were both brown and crispy. Nuckolls has a nice outdoor area; there are plenty of seating options inside and out. I recently had a birthday celebration in the bar downstairs and want everyone to know what a great choice it was to do the party at Nuckolls! Great ambience, very private and intimate, and the food, service and drinks were the best. All the 35 guests had a great time and asked how I had chosen this space. Besides loving Nuckolls, i know that the owners are incredibly generous and I was able to win this party because they donated it to the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico Sweetheart auction. I think I forgot to check in when here, but I had to write a review. We stopped in shortly after open on a Wednesday. The bartender was so super nice and helpful. I wish I would have asked her name. We had some half pours to try multiple beers since they don't offer flights, but the half pours were perfect. They carry other local beers besides Nuckolls too. There was a man eating wings for lunch, and they looked so good we had to order some. They were amazing wings! Big and the sauce was delicious. It's a big beautiful location in the rail yard with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't venture into the basement bar, but they had cocktails down there. Everything was great with the experience, and we go to tab out and our bill was $10 and some change. I said no way, and she explained that our half pours were even cheaper because it was happy hour and wing Wednesday where wings are only like 25 cents each. My jaw hit the floor. We had 4 half beers and 6 wings for $10. It was the absolute best deal in all of Sant Fe. So definitely stop by for beer and wings on a Wednesday afternoon for the greatest deal ever. I like this place. Great atmosphere. Good beer. A friend was in from Dallas. We rode the train to Santa Fe to meet a friend. We started here due to the proximity to the station. The place has a great outdoor patio and lawn. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit outside. The side was vibrant. Good traffic for 3.00 p.m. I found the beer selection to be good. Bartenders know the menu and do a good job with recommendations (I don't drink much beer and need all the help I can get). I will return in Spring for the outdoors. read more

Service was mood ruining! Downstairs I sat and listened to the bartender talk for over an hour about how and when and why she wears a bras and I was not at the bar. Went upstairs to get something to eat. No real guide on where or how to order food took a seat at a table waited for service with no luck. Walked up to the bar asked how to go about ordering food was thrown a menu. Looked over the few choices and attempted to give my order and was told to just wait. Waited was finally "assisted " by my order being taken and informed I didn't order drinks before food so couldn't have a tab. Cash free. Nuckolls doesn't accept US currency and the reason is different each time. Tonight, the story was they have been held up too many times and have switched to plastic. If memory serves, this place has never been anything but "cash free." Food and beers are good. Atmosphere is pleasant with indoor and outdoor choices to sit and relax. Would probably be a place to check out during the summer since they seem to have a lot of seating outdoors though honestly I'm not sure I'd go back! Back in the Railyards area of Santa Fe, Nuckolls Brewing Company is a stunning new addition to the local craft beer scene. Open for less than a year, this brewery boasts a truly beautiful setting with plenty to offer. The brewery features ample outdoor shared seating with games, art, and an area for live bands to play, creating a lively and inviting environment. Inside, there's plenty of seating as well, including a bar top. The walls are lined with beautiful art, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal. Lots of raw wood, copper, and iron give a very industrial look that I liked. A unique touch is the beer pull tabs, crafted from iron rail nails, which align perfectly with the Railyards theme. There is no shortage of things to look at and enjoy while sipping on a brew. Our visit was somewhat disappointing for a few reasons. Firstly, the brewery does not offer beer flights, which is a letndown for those wanting to sample a variety of brews. Secondly, despite being a brewery, they only had two of their own beers on tap. This was surprising and a bit underwhelming, especially given the impressive tap wall that boasts over 40 handles, many of which were empty during our visit. While we didn't try the food, the menu looked promising and could be a draw for future visits. The combination of a good meal and a beautiful setting could certainly make for an enjoyable outing. For beer enthusiasts seeking a traditional brewery experience with a wide selection of house-made brews, Nuckolls Brewing Company may not yet meet expectations. It might be best to skip this place for now until they expand their own draft offerings. This, I believe is why I gave my score as I did. To put "brewery" in your title and on your building, and to only have 2 beers brewed by Nuckolls, is very misleading to guests. Once on site, this is very much a restaurant that serves craft beer at the moment. However, if you're looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy a craft beer and a meal, this brewery is an excellent choice. The ambiance and aesthetic are top-notch, making it a great place to relax and soak in the unique environment. In summary, Nuckolls Brewing Company has the potential to be a fantastic destination, depending on what you're looking for. Took the train up from ABQ and enjoyed putting around the Railyards which included a pit stop at Nuckolls for a beer (or two!) and burger. The cheeseburger was delicious! Smash burger style with two patties, cheddar, and their "German sauce." I had their Hopped the Tracks wet hopped lager. It was an easy drinker with light hops on the back end. Then I had a Savage Times from Bow & Arrow Brewing (highly recommend stopping by their shop if you find yourself in ABQ!). A sour IPA is like a lighter, more sour hazy. RJ and the other guys at the bar took great care of me. I'll definitely be back in my next trip to Santa Fe! read more

Stumbled on this new brewery while walking to the Santa Fe Railyards. They have indoor and outdoor seating and allow dogs on the patio. They had over 20 beers on tap to choose from and also have a food menu that ranges from carnita tacos, burgers, salads, etc. read more

We were walking around the railyard area and noticed this place. We went in to try some of their brews. The only beer that I generally do not like like are ales, IPAs, and stouts. This was all they had (that they made). They do offer beers from other New Mexico breweries with different styles of beer, so if you aren't out of luck if you have similar taste. The interior of this place is fabulous. There was also a local musician playing, which I love. The service was good and they came checked on us to see if we needed anything. There is so much great outdoor seating, which is good considering the amount of great weather Santa Fe enjoys. The tracks next to the brewery are active, so you will love this place if you like trains. I'd come back for sure. read more

When questioned about the gummy worms they called fries, the response was "what do you want me to do about?", other than the ahole behind the bar, not a bad place. My coworkers and I like this spot after work and we always get the pickle spears as an appetizer and alternate between the burger or the wings. The wagyu beef hamburgers are excellent! I wasn't exactly sure what a 'German sauce' would taste like, but it was great. The side potato chips are uninspired, but that's okay. I just wish their meno for food wasn't so limited with perhaps the option of fries, onion rings, or something more substantial. Their veggie burger is a eggplant patty. Again, sure wish an Impossible Burger was on the menu. The service here is friendly and attentive. The selection of beers is also excellent. The tables inside are all tables for 8 to 10 people.
