I had a problematic insurance situation, and both the pharmacist and the technicians really went out of their way to get the mess figured out. This was a situation that stretched over several days, and required the pharmacy to make multiple phone calls to the insurance call center, then ultimately get creative with how they filled the prescription so that it fit within the insurance company's requirement (they didn't do anything wrong, there was just a glitch in the system that prevented the prescription from being filled even after it was approved, and they managed to outsmart the system). Best of all, I didn't have to go to the pharmacy and deal with all of this in person. They answered my phone calls, worked it themselves, then called me back with updates and the ultimate resolution. When I went back for a flu shot several weeks later, the pharmacist remembered me. Oh, and I love that they text you when your prescription is ready for pick up. Great. I noticed that another review commented that no one greeted them as they came and went. Perhaps after seeing that review, the store manager corrected the problem, because now the person working the register by the door ALWAYS says hello. The first few times it happened, I was caught off guard because it so wasn't expected. I wasn't sure he was even talking to me, so I ignored him, but then it happened again and again. So, good on CVS for responding to this feedback. Like others, I don't normally review chains, but I thought this was an example of excellent customer service that should be noted.

This CVS IS HORRENDOUS!! There are zero reasons to patronize this location. No employees (all DIY…read moreregisters); Much of stock is in locked cabinets (try finding an employee to unlock one!); reduced Pharmacy hours; no baskets, carts, or using your own shopping bags! So ridiculous -- just close it down already if you have so much loss that you treat every customer like a thief!

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the ground floor, there is True Texas BBQ with ample seating. One can take the elevator or escalater up to the second floor to the supermarket. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

Got a parking spot on the first row as your drive in. So nice that regardless of weather you can park and walk out to your car comfortably. Loved the murals as well. As you enter from the parking garage you can take the elevators or escalators. Well ya know I just HAD to try the conveyor that takes your shopping cart up ha they have attendants that help you place the cart on the conveyor going down and up. Such a cool little experience. Once we got to the second level it was indeed quite packed as expected, but nice and shiny brand new. We were greeted into produce by a wine tasting and then sausage sampling with a live cooking demo. Lots of sampling going on. I enjoyed the new store and can't wait to go back when it's not as busy. On the way out I stopped to check the BBQ restaurant menu. I'm coming back for the Dino Rib!!!

There are no same day delivery windows like they claim, and then the courier won't show up. I haven't put a review on here in years but this is just awful. The prescription can take days to process. I have a prescription I absolutely need and asked my doctor for EARLY because I know how capsule can be. I did this last Wednesday. It is now the following Tuesday and I still do not have my prescription and have spent days going through withdrawal. This is not the first time this has happened. They did not show last night while I sat for three hours waiting and claim I said I would pick it up. This is entirely untrue. I am sick as a dog - do you think I didn't check the app nonstop? Now have to drive to downtown Austin with no parking while I try not to barf to pick up this prescription - because now they say it can't be delivered until tomorrow. So a literal WEEK since my doctor called in the prescription. This is serious. People go to the hospital for withdrawals of this but I'm poor and tried to get this prescription a WEEK AGO. Good luck getting it changed or moved!!! You need it today? Tomorrow ? Are you sick right now? Too bad! Would not recommend to anyone.

The issue is and reason for the one (1) star is: Martin's advertises flu shots for adults for $25.00 yet they requested $49.00 from me at my appointment. Attached is a photo of their prices from their website. When we arrived home I called Martin's and texted the screen shot to Chris who said he needed to get with the Pharmacist. Ashley was adamant about not honoring the advertised price saying this was information from years ago and swore there were dates on the page. No dates whatsover as this is their current website. Also, she kept repeating herself and when I tried to explain, hung up on me. She seemed most flustered and appeared to want a reason to end the phone call. Say what? This is deceptive advertising for flu shots. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for deceptive trade practices. This is an issue of principle. I also made a copy of the entire website page where this cost is promoted.

They charged me for medicine that was never approved for purchase by me. Then when I came back they had the nerve to say I've already been charged. I had to get a refund because they never bothered to do their job telling me what the price is before charging my account. Medicine that I never received and was fraudulently charged for. I had to inform them that they had charged me for multiple prescriptions that were never picked up. This place is unethical and frankly, dangerous in its incompetence. Their license to dispense pharmaceuticals should be terminated before they kill someone with their glaring incompetence.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

Ruby was standing to my left, looked at me, then continued with looking at her cell phone. The least she could have done was press the down button of the elevator. Instead, I did it. She boarded the elevator with me. We both went to the first floor. She was the cashier and didn't know how coupons work. She asked a male co-worker for help, causing delay in checking out. I said forget the coupon (which the pharmacist in the 2nd floor gave me). After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. She said she is the supervisor. What a shock. A supervisor who gives Bad customer service and who didn't know how coupons work. Negative star rating!
