We spent over $100 on food, pastries, and coffee, and stayed for a couple of hours catching up with family since we hadn't seen each other in a while. Before leaving, we placed one final order for a friend who was delayed due to the police funeral procession, and we waited for her to arrive. Once she got there, she noticed the sandwich she received was not the one that had been ordered. Two of my friends went up to politely explain that the wrong sandwich had been given, but the employee responded by calling my friend a liar. I have never witnessed an employee speak to a customer that way. It was incredibly unprofessional, and unfortunately, we still never received the correct sandwich. read more

I saw the signs up for this place a while before it opened and was looking to try it out. To start, the inside is beautiful, amazing wood tones and light plant themed decor. A lovely place to work or hang out with friends. The staff are very friendly as well. I ordered the kunefe with a turkish coffee. Very delicious! Certainly hit the spot. I was anxiously awaiting the opening... and yet it took me a bit to get here! I finally stopped by on Saturday. The space is attractive, open, and inviting. There is a robust menu of coffee and tea options, and the cases show off baklava, baked goods, and beautiful desserts. There is plenty of seating as well. I ordered the cinnamon honey latte, and it was great. I would have preferred 2% milk to whole, but they only offer whole milk and milk alternatives (almond, oat, and soy). After doing an hour or so of work, I spied a nearby customer enjoying the lentil soup, a fave of mine. It looked like it was served with a couple nicely toasted slices of bread, which put me over the edge. I ordered it. It came with a large lemon wedge and... a cold ciabatta roll (the kind you usually see used for a toasted caprese sandwich). Sadly, it wasn't very appetizing, so went to waste, The soup was great, though! The place was busy during the 2 hours I spent there, and I hope it continues! The vibes are amazing and it looks super modern. I ordered a tiramisu latte with oatmilk and a chicken casear wrap. The tiramisu latte was $9! Which is kind of insane. The chicken casear wrap had a lot of dressing which I liked, but the chicken itself was super dry, almost jerky like. The staff was not super friendly or kind either, they were just okay. I live right down the street from this place, decided to try it out. Service is quick and they're very friendly, complimentary water is also available. Love the vibe, The Matcha was delicious and so was the pastry we ordered, it was chocolate filled. The shakshuka was also delicious but for the portion, it should have been at most $9 and not $13. My husband and I had a lovely Saturday brunch at Nubar Cafe! First, the place is just so well decorated. You can tell that thought went into all the details like the fringe curtain leading to the back area and art. It's a great vibe for date or catching up with friends. The only slight issue is that the tables are a bit close together, but that wasn't a big concern. It's the kind of cafe where you order upfront and then you get a buzzer. The food came super fast too! I ordered the Shakshuka Plate and my husband got an omelette. Both were well seasoned and came with this delicious, crusty bread. While the mains were filling, we made room for dessert. We had the Pistachio Knafeh and Honey Cake. They are two of my favorite desserts in general and Nubar did a great job. read more

The tiramisu and the caramel brownie are the best desserts we've had here, but they said they're not bringing the brownie back! Incredibly disappointing. I ordered a take out today. The first time trying this relatively new place. I ordered flat white. Given it was a take out and the firm of milk dissipated by the time I got home (two city blocks), I saw only coffee to the middle point in a cu with no form. The cup was small not to mention (and I wasn't asked about the size). So naturally, I am more on the dissatisfied side on it. I also ordered a brunch plate which I am not sure if I got it. I got some brunch plate but may not be what I ordered. The food quality is not bad but didn't stand out much particularly because we have Noon O Kabab and Kabobi within a block so it is very competitive to win my vote. As mentioned this will pace opened not too long ago so hopefully they will tweak things for improvement and stay open for a long long time. read more

Very pretty and cozy inside, got the strawberry matcha with oatmilk. Good matcha, has grassy earthy notes but the strawberry syrup balanced it, its also not artificial tasting strawberry syrup. Cost around 10 dollars due to the oatmilk but good matcha isn't cheap so understandable. read more

I ordered a flat white, and it was very good. It's very spacious inside with a lot of natural light. Great place to hang out or work/read.

Excellent iced latte. Great place to have in the neighborhood. Will definitely be going back to try some of the desserts
