NU way special on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. 3 Hot dogs or 3 burgers or mix and match
    Lori F.

We walked in and we're immediately greeted with smiles and hellos. Very friendly staff. Made us feel like very important people. We have been passing this place for years and finally got to stop. We all got the Nu-way Monday special. It's a mix and match 3 burgers or hotdogs. I got the slaw dog, chili dog and chili burger. It is plain and simple food no frufru here. But I will say it's good. Their chili has a small bit of of spice but not to much that it's not enjoyable. It's no beans chili and doesn't soggy up the bun too much. I loved the coleslaw it's ground very fine and doesn't smell of heavy onions like some do. Their fries are thick and made to order. We also got the apple pie. They must keep them frozen then heat them up. It was still frozen a little. The crust was extremely flaky and the apples were cut small but tasted delicious and wasn't just crust with a small amount of apple it was stuffed. We will definitely stop here again. Simply decorated with pictures of their history and their cute tip jar too! Which we left her some. Just a small town hotdog and burger place. They also serve breakfast but we didn't try that yet. Maybe next time.

Nu-Way Weiners is an institution in Georgia, primarily around the Macon, Georgia area. The two big hot dog restaurant chains in Georgia are the Varsity and Nu-Way Weiners. For me, Nu-Way Weiners has always been the hands-down winner. The staff was friendly here and the food, as always, was good. I will say that I have noticed at the Fry's I've gotten a tad bit worse, or maybe they always were and I focus more on the hot dogs and hamburgers. I would 100% recommend any of the Nu-Way Weiners locations.

The food is good but not enough for my money , but the sauce for the hot dog is good.

I'd go a long way for a NuWay. Best hotdogs ever. One all the way! I think it's the combination of the red hot dog and chili sauce.

I would have to say the nu-way is hands down the best hot dog and hamburger in the world.

We ordered off the special Sunday menu and everything was perfection. The green beans, collards and yams went down quickly followed by my beef and rice and my wife's Mac and cheese (wow - in this era when everyone is trying to come up with the latest Mac and cheese combo these sisters stay close to the original concept and knock it out of the park). Corn bread flat cakes were the final pieces of the meal and were terrific. Two patrons sent banana pudding desserts to our table on their way out (thank you!!!) and one of the sisters packed us an extra for the road. So good!! Thank you Sisters' Kitchen for a welcome break during our long day of driving. We hope to see you all again soon!!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and you can dine in or take out. I ordered the baked turkey leg, mac & cheese, yams, collard greens, chicken dressing with gravy, and strawberry crunch cake. Remember, I'm at the bar where all the servers are at. And they were not that busy. It was Mother's Day. I was traveling and by myself on a hard day as my Mom passed away 2 years ago, and my mom always enjoyed local mom and pop restaurants so I had never been to this place. And when she did she said she was training a new person, ok???? How about trying to train her to take care of customers!! I ordered. And 27 minutes later, NOTHING! For just eggs and biscuits and gravy! She never even came back to me for water. Rude rude!! I finally just walked out. Unbelievable! I spend a lot of time there at the fairgrounds and will make sure I tell all to stay away. I was very disappointed!

Disappointing, but I understand and quickly assessed my lunch options. We decided to order an appetizer and then split a lunch plate. For the appetizer we got the loaded fries, since they were hand cut as we were sitting there. Overall the loaded fries were okay. I think they went too heavy on the cheese and the other noticeable thing was that the cinnamon in the chili was a little stronger than I would have liked. For lunch it was a Big Sexy Burger which had a double burger, pimento cheese, bacon jam and maybe some other stuff. But those items mentioned sold me on trying it. My only criticism about the burger would be the pimento cheese, it seemed to be heavy on the mayo and not as much cheese, but overall a decent burger. I think the real star of the meal was the onion rings, I would definitely recommend these. Now that we tried their lunch, I am looking forward to trying their breakfast menu.

My husband and I were looking for a place that was dog-friendly and had good drinks and food. Well well well, winner winner chicken dinner! When walking in, you're greeted by a friendly host or hostess. They saw our pup and showed us to the patio. It was a nice day so the temperature was wonderful and they even had dog bowls of water sitting out. The patio had TVs but we're not into football and just found something to watch on our phone. The waiter was phenomenal and very attentive but not overbearing. He made suggestions about the drink menu and was considerate to the fact that I drink virgin drinks only. The patio was relatively enclosed with screens to keep flies away. Regarding the food, it's an easy menu with not too many options. This keeps ticket times down and food comes out quick and hot. I had a quesadilla and my husband had the blackberry burger. It was absolutely delicious! The waiter even brought out a piece of bacon for our dog on a little platter. It really is the little things. We will definitely be back!

Well... the burgers look better than they taste. The patty does not have enough beef (or maybe not good quality beef?), which was dry for some reason and somewhat crumbly. Also, I'm meh with most beer, which I feel is the main pro of this place. There are TVs around for those who want to watch the games and drink beer, so I can say I'm most likely not the crowd this place is trying to draw. There are other places to chill with friends that have better food imo. Oh, and the ranch is watery. The chipotle ranch too. Choose a different dipping sauce unless they've changed it since I've last been. I know it's my bad for choosing boneless wings, but if Korean fried chicken places can keep them juicy, so can every other establishment. The ones here are dry. Notably, they do all day happy hour on Sundays. That's fun.
