Run away! They will only rob you! Upselling is NTB's game, they don't actually believe in servicing customers to build trust. Yesterday I asked them to patch a minor leak in the center of the tire tread, and they said I had to buy 4 new tires. They also left my battery drained in their parking lot. They didn't even offer to help, I had to go buy tools and jump start it myself. Previously I asked them to rotate tires on another car ... they said I had to buy 4 new tires. I'm a fool for ever trusting in NTB, and I'm walking away from my 3-year service plans that they conned me into buying. When you buy road hazard they fix your tires every time, when you come in with a nail and they realize you don't have road hazard you have to buy a new tire for $200. Because they convince you to buy a tire that no one else carries you have to buy it here . Stay away from this place I will never shop here again. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews as most businesses generally provide the service you pay for...good or bad. I had an issue with a mail-in rebate that was supposed to refund me over $100. The rebate handler in El Paso denied the request, even though I filled everything out correctly. Apparently this isn't unusual with mail in rebates -- make it as much of a hassle on the customer as possible so that they finally give up. A bit deceptive in my opinion. However, when I returned to the NTB on Custer to ask them what I could do about the situation, the manager honored the rebate on the spot, because they didn't want to lose me over $130. That's good business practice, and I will definitely be back. read more

Dropped off car for oil change/tire rotation/inspection. Was told it would take "3-4 hours"....no problem. Called back 6 hours later and they advised they won't get to it today and i could either leave it overnight (and not have it for work tomorrow) or i could come pick it up and bring it back another time. Super nice staff when I dropped by to have them look at my tire that was hissing. Always have had a good experience at this location in particular, and I'll definitely use them again. He had me out with a patched tire in less than 10 minutes, amazingly fast. Highly recommend. read more

Got an alignment at brakes plus and they told me they couldn't align the car properly(toe was at around -.85, should be from 0 to .6) and that there is something wrong with my vehicles suspension. Brought it to NTB today and Nate told me they could definitely fix everything up for me. The steering isn't 30° off center anymore and the car drives straight, alignment feels very good and the camber, caster,etc is actually within spec now. Made an appointment online for 12:00 noon for oil change and inspection. Dropped my car off at 12. Guy told me 1-1/2 hours. Keep in mind this takes 20 minutes. This place sucks! I will never purchase tires from them again! I stopped by on a Tuesday morning around 10 to see if I could talk to someone about removing a nail from my tire no one was up at the front desk! I waited over 10 minutes still no one I'm out at this point! As I'm walking back to my car I notice employees standing around without a care in the world one was even smoking a big cigar wtf!! As I drove off I looked into the front window still no one at the front only another person like me standing there waiting to be helped! Very bad experience. I went in for a new tire as I shredded one going down the highway. Made it to NTB on the spare thankfully. When I arrived they stated they had a tire in stock. Waited over 2 hours for them to tell me that they actually dont have the tire size I needed. I was driving a Toyota Camry at the time, a very common car in which one would think a tire store would stock a common tire size. Completely unapologetic about the wait. read more

I showed up on time, got my new tires, balancing and alignment without any problem. it helped that everything was already paid for online. the manager went out of his way to get me a rebate form while I was waiting. why the 4 stars and not 5? because of the upsell attempts and the waiting to get my car OUT of the bay after it was ready. read more

Good ole boy mentality... waited for few minutes before I was waited on. Me being the third customer there, as the first was sitting in the lounge and the second in front of me, an older gentleman. After being acknowledged by an employee, I then had to wait again while the older gentleman who was there before me finished making his cup of coffee and they talked about his vacation to Louisiana, visiting plantations (no exaggeration). Todd an employee who came out of the men's room, greeted the elderly gentleman then asked who's next, I anxiously raised my hand as if we were in grade school. Yes, finally I can get waited on...or so I thought. Todd then ask how are you doing today? I replied excitedly "I'm doing great!" But I then realized Todd was looking at the elderly man. So I asked are you talking to me or the other gentleman...he immediately pointed to the elderly gentleman. Proceeds to ask the elderly gentleman "how was that vacation", and of course the conversation continued. By this point Todd could obviously see the frustration on my face, so he asked me sir how are you doing. Trying to stay positive and not take this as a race thing, I replied wonderful. I informed him that I was here for an alignment for my truck, he glances out at my truck only to inform me that he can't because his lift won't handle a 3/4 ton truck. I then had to ask well can you refer me to someone that can, pondering for a moment he responds yeah our Allen location can...(long awkward pause) I replied, any chance you can call em to verify? in which he did. So I'm now at the Allen location, they got me in right away and acknowledged me as I walked up to the register...thanks Nabil for unknowingly making my experience better than the Mckinney location on Eldorado. read more

Very bad expereince. They don't deserve even one star, but it won't let you select zero (are negative) stars. They have possibly now damaged the engines on two of my houshold vehicles due to complete incompetence. On my truck they left the air filter out and the air intake assembly completed torn apart. I didn't discover the issue until over 2 months and 2500 miles later. They also left the cap off for the antifreeze / coolant reservior on the other vehicle resulting in significant fluid loss. Very poor quality control. WE have had many other numerous issues with them in the past. Below is a portion of the complaint letter I wrote to their management team that details some of the issues. I have been using the McKinney / Frisco NTB location at Custer and 121 for a few years now for routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and batteries for all three household vehicles with mixed results. Most of the issues I have had in the past were common annoyances such as them forgetting to put a oil change sticker on the windshield (they forgot most of the time), not resetting my engine maintenance light on my vehicles (even though I always made a point to remind them, they almost always forgot), forgetting to put the wheel lock back in the vehicle and the routine black smudge marks all over the interior of the vehicles and interior door panels. I have also recently had an episode where I let my 17 year old daughter take her vehicle up for an oil change and tire rotation only for her to call me on the way home in a panic because the car was severely pulling to one side and she thought something was seriously messed up with the alignment. After inspecting it I discovered they did not properly inflate the tires they rotated to the front and one only had 15 PSI of pressure. A very dangerous situation for them to turn the car over to my daughter with the right front tire severely under inflated. The next time we went up I told the manager to make sure they checked the tire pressure. After that visit I discovered that we had tire pressure ranging from under 30 PSI to almost 40 PSI with no consistency. Apparently they just quickly hit each tire with air without taking the time to measure the pressure. The quality control is horrible to the point of being non-existent. The list goes on and on such as constantly being told that I need several hundred dollars worth of new shocks only to be told at the dealership that the shocks are in great shape. I have reached my breaking point with NTB. Today I discovered the latest mistakes by your company and now have possible engine problems resulting from their complete incompetence. I had to jump start my vehicle today as it wouldn't start and when I opened the hood to my Toyota Tacoma truck I was shocked to find the air filter was sitting on the top left side of the engine compartment no longer installed. Further I saw that the intake assembly where the filter is suppose to go was not attached. Apparently they had taken out my air filter and somehow forgot to put the assembly back together. This is the first time I have opened the hood which means that I have been running my truck now for nearly 2,500 miles and 2 months without an air filter. To say I am mad is an understatement as I have now done damage to my engine from running with no filter for an extended period of time because once again there is no quality control. To make it even worse I examined my daughter's engine compartment after seeing what they messed up on mine and found that the cap for the antifreeze/coolant reservoir was left off when they were checking the fluids and her fluid level was almost empty. These mistakes are un-excusable and have now possibly caused damage to both vehicles. Needless to say I will not be a customer of NTB going forward and will make sure I let everyone know why and of our very poor experiences. read more

I saw recent reviews and decided to visit here for an alignment. Dallas Frame and Alignment has got the best review and price($60 for a small car), but it's too far from where I live. Anyway, made an appointment, showed up and it was done in about 35 min. Very happy with the staff, work and everything. I highly recommend this place for an alignment. read more

First and last time going to any NTB. They're more concerned with making sales than anything. I had an appointment and was quoted 2 hours when I arrived early. The girl (I believe Jessica) nonchalantly tried to sell me a credit card when I told her I wanted conventional oil. "Well you can just fill out this and I can give you the synthetic for $25". When I asked her what "this" was as she just kept pointing quickly to the desk, I realized she was trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. She told me (as if predicting the future) that I would have coolant issues due to high mileage. I told her I had gotten that fixed a few months ago and that I would wait to hear if I really did need that to be fixed. I paid ahead of time and while waiting for my husband to pick me up, she handed me a quote for the coolant, an air filter and a few other things totaling $150 and then told me I could use a coupon and she could ask her manager if I could get an additional $40 off. At this point I wanted to ask her for my keys back. All I wanted was a simple oil change. I received a call later from a man saying that my power steering needed to be fixed. Yet another thing I just had done. He didn't mention the coolant and I politely told him the power steering would not be fixed and I just wanted my oil changed after he gave me a life story on power steering. He told me I could pick it up in 30 minutes and not even 10 minutes after that, the girl calls and leaves a voicemail saying that indeed, my coolant needed to be fixed. "Call me back if you'd like to take advantage of this." Well, I didn't want to take advantage so I didn't return her call. LITERALLY 2 minutes later, I miss a call from assuming her again. This place is a joke. I always get coupons from Kroger for $19.88 oil change which is a whopping 11 cents less than what they usually charge. My husband went to one in Allen and had no issue. But please, stay clear of this place. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. I live across the street from here and thought it would be convient. I drive in and drop off and then walk home. After l specifically asked for 2 new tires on the front, not the back. they put 2 new tires on the back to rotate the old ones in the front so they wear faster. I asked to have them put where i asked them to be and they threw me "our company policy is to rotate them to the back" BS. WHAT? So after argueing they finally did what i asked. The next day the tire sensor was not working. Brought it back. guess what was missing. My security theft lug nut socket key that i know for a fact was in there when i drove in the prior day. They must have been upset with me that i made them rotate the tires back so they threw it away when they were done. So i had to go to dealer and pay 30 for new one. Then they gave me the "tire sensor broke in pieces when we removed it so you need a new one. 110$ later and it was done. I forgot to ask them for the old one. TIP: WATCH THEM WORK ON YOUR CAR AND ASK THEM TO SEE THE DAMAGED PART. I had to explain to the guy at the counter 3 times what i wanted and they still didn't do what i asked. Customer service was really poor and i can see they do not like to be told what to do. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. read more
