Working with Scott, the owner, is also a pleasure. On to the escape room itself. With only thirty minutes, the main challenge is to carefully manage your time. The challenges were fun and intuitive, and teamwork is required to get through it. My group wasn't able to finish in time, but we came close! Scott also designs and creates all his props by hand, which adds wonderfully to the ambiance.

Overall, a really challenging but exceptionally fun room. One of the best I've done in DFW. This location is really the grandfather of DFW escape experiences. Don't let the location or look of the building fool you - they really do a great job with their three (soon to be four) rooms. Also, the pricing is one of the better deals in DFW. Just can't praise the design and overall set production enough. The staff and owners are first-rate, friendly, and just love escape rooms. Random magnets popped doors open prematurely, and cards weren't erased properly after previous users ( you could still see the writing from the last team). We could have overlooked some of this as flukes... But Amber, the "gamemaster" was patronizing and unhelpful. She wouldn't even take the time to explain how the puzzles should have worked. Instead, she claimed she had to get the room set up for the next group, and didn't have time to explain things to us... With 30 minutes still left on the clock! When you're spending the kind of money you are on an experience like this, the least one should expect is courteous, helpful staff, and a game room that works Save your time and your money.
