The whole concept only works if they sell it and they 100% delivered. The session ran right at an hour, which felt perfect. No dragging, no awkward downtime just a clean, high-energy experience start to finish. Only heads up: drink options are pretty limited, and definitely grab everything you want before going into the game room. They say you can step out, but once things get going, there's really no natural break to do that. Overall, easy 5/5. Would absolutely do this again especially for group events. They have a few different "scenarios" to experience.

Great mid level escape room with awesome game master!…read more We went as a group of 5 on a Saturday night. We were promptly greeted and checked in by the amazing friendly Laurel! We did the Zombie themed escape room. We finished with a few minutes left, with a little help from Laurel. It's hard to review these because I don't want to give things away. The good: Laurel the manager. Clues that didn't just give you the answer, just steered you towards the thing ya overlooked. Not too hard of a room. I would sad mid level difficultly. Great production value. Variety of different puzzles to hunt. When time was running out Laurel didn't make us suffer, she let us know we already had what we were looking for and somehow put back down. Never over detailed with the clues. The not perfect: No red herrings, nothing extra in the room, what you need and is puzzle related almost stands out. But maybe not to all? WE WILL BE BACK!

I played the Lost Ruins room with some friends, and we made it out with under two minutes to spare…read more We chose the unlimited hints options I think (or whatever was the most) and used around 5-7 in total. You get a bonus hint if you can solve the riddle at the front, which was fun. This room had a lot fewer high tech audio visual effects than some escape rooms I've done more recently. It was a lot of more classic puzzles, nothing insanely cognitively complexed. There were some frustrations, like getting pieces in exactly the right order but one fairly symmetrical piece was just upside down/ not locking properly with magnets. That's the kind of thing it would be helpful if the game master could comment on when they see us get the order right and lose 10 extra minutes... they did give us some time back because the piece was a little glitchy. We had multiple binders to use as reference for many clues, and one of them was really out of order, which also confused the flow a little as we were trying to flip to the same pages as each other. We found some of the puzzles a little far fetched to figure out without a hint to get started. All in all, though, this was a very fun way to spend an hour with friends and earns a solid 4/5 on escape rooms for me! I appreciated it wasn't too scary (I hate the ones with super loud jump scares and things / people popping out at you!). Recommend! Each room is rated on a difficulty scale out of 10, and we chose the Budapest Express, which has an 8.5 rating. Once inside, we watched a couple of short introductory videos that set the scene, and then the timer began. We had one hour to solve a murder mystery involving five train passengers, all of whom were suspects. The setup immediately pulled us in and created a fun, immersive challenge right from the start. During the adventure, you work your way through a series of clever puzzles by collecting clues, cracking codes, and unlocking various mechanisms along the way. Every step feels interactive and keeps everyone engaged. If you ever find yourself stuck, there's a giant red button you can press to receive a clue, which is a nice touch that keeps the game moving without taking away from the challenge. There's also a bar on-site where you can grab refreshments before or after your game. It's family-friendly, offering a mix of snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, along with a selection of alcoholic beverages for those who want to unwind. Our group is pretty experienced at escape rooms, so we solved it in 35 minutes with zero hints. However, I would say the Clue room was objectively on the easier side for people with escape room experience. This logically makes sense because if Breakout is partnering with Clue to make this room, they're going to want people to complete it. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just end with this: I liked how the Clue room wasn't a completely linear progression in terms of tasks that needed to be accomplished. Certainly doable in a group of 2, but I'd recommend a group of 4. (And probably no more than 6)

Our game master, Melanie, was so nice and upbeat and seemed genuinely excited for us when we escaped without using any clues. I also saw her managing the front area with walk-in's really well (the mall setup has got to be stressful for that!). The Witch themed room was right at my personal max level of scary/spooky. It seems like most of the other rooms had a spook factor to it; I'd love to see some that are more mystery, adventure, or heist themed. We will def be back for the Agent Smith room sometime very soon! Highly recommend!

Our game master, Maegan, was wonderful and played "Scott" to perfection. Something unique to Questroom is how integral the game master is to room. In other escape rooms, the game master tells you the rules and gives hints. At Questroom, the game master plays a character that is integral to the experience.

From the booking site, it looks like others can join your party which I wasn't a fan of, but no one else joined us. We picked the Cosmic mission and barely solved it with two minutes to spare! I liked that it was spread across 3 rooms and required us to solve puzzles together being in different rooms entirely. We've done several escape rooms and recommend this one if you've done them before. I heard the hardest one is prison break and will be coming back to try it out!

The special ops escape room had a difficulty level of 8/10. The rooms were a little on the smaller side, esp with 7 people so it got a little stuffy. Price is also on the higher end for 40.99 per person, I believe there are discount prices for Monday to Thursday if you have a bigger group. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely want to try their prison break escape room, Paul did mention that that was their most difficult one. He also mentioned that gold rush was a good one too.
