Super easy! Quick contact, fast scheduling. The team showed up right on time and had things cleared out exactly as promised. Great price!

Very pleased with NOVA Junk Removal service. The price was definitely reasonable. They were responsive and came very shortly after I requested (some places I spoke to were scheduling much farther out). They charge per the amount of truck you take up, which was easy for me to relatively-eyeball and give me a sense as my stuff expanded during my clean out. They were also definitely affordable, including with some heavy and awkward stuff. They arrived on time and gave me a heads up, they were very accommodating of some of my disorganization, they were quick, friendly, and courteous, and payment/scheduling were all very easy. Finally, I had been stressing about donating some furniture that was in good condition and that I needed to get rid of. I wanted to have it picked up, but everyone was 8 weeks out. I was really pleased to learn that they seek to donate as much stuff as possible and take it to donation centers (they were sure to emphasize that whether or not the items are donated is entirely dependent on the donation center's discretion, so you kind of leave it up to them at the point you let it load into the truck). read more

This is an example of a well-run operation. Hard-working, fair pricing, on time, and thorough beyond my expectations. Norman was fabulous from the planning of the job to the end. Workers were courteous and honest. The house was a nightmare of clutter and junk throughout. When they were done, it actually looked like a house that someone would be willing to buy to fix up. I am very thankful I hired these great workers. read more

Great experience! Very professional, on time, courteous staff. Omar and the others removed my belongings (heavy furniture) and then more items I kept finding. The price was more reasonable than others that I contacted. I will definitely call them again in the future. read more

Cleaning house! They hauled out my piano that needed to go. The booking and estimate was so easy. Did it right through Yelp. They were quick, efficient and timely. The guys were really great and came with a smile. Very highly recommend. read more

Very happy I found this company, or rather my girlfriend did. The price was very good compared to the bigger named companies. They were on time, very professional and were great to deal with. I had them clear out 3 rooms worth of old furniture and junk and they were in and out in under 2 hours. I will be calling them again when its time to clear out my basement. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs any size hauling job. read more

We finally got around to going through the stuff in our garage to see what we needed to throw out. Turns out there was a lot. Did some research for junk removal companies, and saw the Yelp reviews, which were %100 on target. They called to let me know that they would be arriving within 30-40min, and they were right on time. We were on a budget, and they graciously accepted it. Even after they loaded the truck with the agreed items, they had more room, and asked if there was anything else. I was blown away. They were incredibly courteous, professional, and fast. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you! read more

I contacted Nova Junk because of the Yelp reviews which were right on target. Nova Junk was terrific. There was an immediate response to set up the appointment. The truck arrived promptly and Omar and his helper could not have been more gracious, helpful or professional. As well as clean, quick and with a very fair price. Thanks to Nova Junk and to Yelp. chris o read more

I completely agree with the other reviews! I received a call about 45 minutes before their arrival (they were a few minutes early, which was fine by me). Within 15 minutes both pieces had been taken out of my apartment and our transaction was complete (and one piece was a VERY heavy treadmill). They were careful with the walls and worked quickly. Incredibly reasonable price as well. Great experience - I'll be calling them again in the future! read more

I had an L couch removed by Nova Junk and the reservation process was seamless. The pickup process was also seamless. Great company and I would highly recommend for both their price and service. read more

Excellent all around, and a pleasure to do business with. Everyone we dealt with, from the person who answered the phone to the two men who came and removed the heavy office furniture, were friendly, pleasant and professional. They came when they said they would, were careful when moving the items, and there were no hidden fees. (That they are a local small business is icing on the cake.) Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended. read more

These guys showed up on time, were courteous and friendly, cared for our house, ensured nothing got scratched, worked without their boots on, and charged the amount that they quoted. I couldn't have been more pleased and would recommend them to anybody for any needs. Thanks again for the outstanding service! read more

They removed items quickly and did a great job. They arrived on time and were professional. My only complain is that i was quoted one price and was charged $45 more when they arrived. read more

Nova Junk did a terrific job removing heavy furniture, electronics, and miscellaneous stuff from our house. They came on time, worked hard, and removed everything without causing any damage to our home. Norm, the co-owner, was responsive by email in advance. Excellent! read more

Excellent experience! I agree with other reviewers -- friendly and helpful on the phone, timely arrival, moved a large couch from the basement with care (no wall scratches!). Very reasonable prices. They had a window of 8-10 and called at 7:45 to let me know they'd be there in a few -- done by 8:10! Ironically, a Comcast tech had the same service window and here I sit... Thanks to Yelp (this is how I found them) and KUDOS to NOVA Junk! read more

By far the best junk removal for the dollar. Scheduled an estimate beforehand and they were right on target. I worked with Omar and this gentleman was top notch. They arrived on time and loaded three truck loads from my townhouse in Reston in less than three hours. They even swept up the area before leaving. Everyone was friendly and professional. This company apparently is in high demand due to their exceptional rates. I asked if they recycled and was told that everything was sorted. read more

Professional, prompt and efficient. Very, very happy with their service and will use them next time. So much better than their competitor.

These guys are great. I had to get rid of my old futon mattress quickly during my last move. I called NoVa Disposal and they came the next day to get the mattress. So quick and professional! They gave me a really good price, too. Much better price than some of the bigger companies. Overall, outstanding customer service!! If you have junk to get rid of, give this local business a call! read more

Working with NOVA Junk Removal was a dream! From booking the appointment to handing over payment, every step of the way was handled with professionalism and kindness. Wonderful company! Omar and his crew came to help me out the day before I moved out of my home in Arlington when I was in a real bind and needed to get rid of some stuff very quickly. They even did me the favor of going into my attic to remove an old crib even though it was incredibly hot out. They were prompt, reliable, pleasant, reasonable, and I would absolutely call on them again! I also had a billing issue (my fault), and the office (Erika) was lovely and professional too. read more

The guys are prompt on scheduled time. They are fast and space-conscious movers and they managed to pile up all my construction debris and tree branches into a half truck. When my grandfather passed away, he had a house FULL of junk. We called NOVA junk removal to help with the process and we are so glad we did. I felt very comfortable with this company from the moment Omar walked in the door to look over the work and give me a quote. He was professional and polite. Because I live almost an hour away from my grandfather's home, he was kind enough to call me when he was an hour out so that I didn't have to sit there for hours during the arrival window they gave me when the appointment was set up. Day of - they arrived exactly on time - again, calling to let us know they were en route. We were very impressed with their professionalism and good work ethic. It took the crew two full days to remove all of the junk in that house, but they did a wonderful job. We were so pleased with them, we've made arrangements to work with them again for additional junk removal. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I'm very glad we found them. I highly recommend them. read more

I wish I could give them more stars:-) I was relocating and downsizing and wanted to donate or give away some items that were in great shape but I no longer had use for- old style 27 inch TV, king bed and box springs, large TV stand, dining room table and chairs, futon, etc. Most of the items were on the 3rd and 4th floor of my condo unit- 4-6 flight of stairs per trip. First, the phone quote was $150-200 less than big-name competitors. When the crew chief arrived and looked at the items and their size, he reduced the estimate. How often does that happen? The crew had 3 guys- most competitors have 2- with a smaller truck and higher prices. Crew chief told me he'd treat my walls and stairwells like his home. No damage. No one has ever moved furniture in or out of my condo without damage. They were bilingual and ll joked around with me in English. Very professional, courteous and hard working. I can't say enough good things. Very happy I made a choice to go with them to save some money but even happier with their service. Thank you- money well spent. read more

Omar and his team did a fantastic job! Professional, speedy and careful with the walls. Highly recommend.

I am so glad to have found you guys on Angieslist.com. We are having new living room furniture delivered tomorrow and needed to get rid of our old sofa set. I called NOVA Junk and set up an appointment for them to come out today. I definitely recommend this company for their awesomeness!! They were on time, courteous and were very delicate in moving out the sofas to make sure no walls or doors were damaged (definitely respected our house). I called around before I called them and their prices were a lot cheaper than the others. Thank you NOVA junk! :) read more

As good as it gets. They were on time, courteous, clean, quick and gave me a very fair price. Great job!

My shed burned down and made a solid brick of craziness. It took 7 people to take it away at a reasonable price.

Another happy client! Called yesterday, pickup this morning. Told me they'll come between 7 and 9, came at 8. Done by 0830, fast and efficient but best of all, very careful; didn't leave a single mark even though they had to bring up a large freezer from basement with tight corners and narrow passage. Everything i could have asked for, at a reasonable price and couteous workers. Highly recommend! read more
