This is a nice small family owned restaurant. Service is professionally, casual, and very friendly. Do not even attempt to go without a reservation as there are not a lot of tables and they fill up quickly. Had the garlic shrimp appetizer, and also the escargot. Both were quite nice while the regular menu is quite diverse. We both decided on specials at the veal Oso Buco, and also the elk loin. Both were absolutely incredible. For dessert, we decided to share a crème brûlée. The only downside is they don't have coffee, only espresso. Definitely will be back as I'm not sure what more they could do to make the evening more enjoyable read more

Extremely overpriced. We usually eat at Prime 88 for special dinners but they were booked. If I compare places start to finish butter and bread Prime 88 makes their own bread and butter. Nouvelle is packaged butter and store bought bread. We had the cheese platter priced at $40 very overpriced. Salad at nouvelle was iceberg lettuce, with a potion of tomato, cucumber, white onion and maybe a Caesar dressing probably bottled. Prime 88 has an option of a Caesar salad dressing with romaine lettuce. We had the châteaubriand which was excellent but was market price and seemed very high compared to Prime 88. Beef at Prime.88 is dry aged. Prime 88 also comes to your table and slices it for you. We had the dessert which was the lava cake. Excellent. Prime 88 has a very nice wine cellar. Nouvelle had a few wines - more option on beers. Very expensive glass option on both. Service was good. Ambiance was overcrowded. I will stick with Prime 88. read more

We had a lovely bottle of wine. The appetizer, the entree' and the dessert were all great. I had left overs, so enjoyed the wonderful taste for another day. The staff was warm and friendly. The owner comes to your table to tell you about the food that is expertly cooked and to take your order. The staff is professional, courteous and attentive. The food is very well prepared and beautifully presented. I usually choose the lamb. The menu options make you feel like you are in France. Nice wine selection. The ambiance is marked by low light, low noise level, and a sense of privacy. You won't be rushed - they aren't trying to achieve a 45 minute turnaround time per table here; they give you time to savor your wine and food. What an amazing little jewel hidden in Spring Hill. We were really amazed. This charming little bistro truly surprised us. My wife and I weren't dressed to go out but we were hungry. Even though we looked like bums the staff welcomed us in and provided very good service. We were totally bummed that they didn't have the elk but the rack of lamb and veal chop did not disappoint. I have be.en wanting to try this place for a long time having lived here almost 10 years. So we decided to go on our 29th anniversary. I knew it was a fine dining place so I was not shocked by the prices on the menu. We went on a Friday night and the place was moderately busy. We had reservations but we waited patiently by the door of this small place in a strip mall for 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. (Not exactly friendly) I am accustomed to getting my drink order fairly promptly but it was not so in this case. After about a 10 minute wait, the drink order was taken, they brought us the smallest portion of bread I've ever seen in my life in any restaurant and our drinks. What a shocker to see 1/2 of a 6 oz wine glass with a price tag of $14 when the online menu clearly stated the price as $10 which is gouging enough. My husband had a $9 Stella beer. Gaah.. Is this RayJay?? The owner was evidently the only server in the place. She spent a lot of time with patrons who I assume were familiar regulars since we arrived before them and waited about 15 minutes before she came to our table after chatting them up for a ridiculously long time. Finally arriving at our table she proceeded to recite the specials of the day ..all meat.. before We had a chance to tell her we were pescatarians. I felt like one of many cattle rolling through in this "haute cuisine" strip mall place. We ordered our vegan/ pescataian entres and the iceberg lettuce ( sigh) salad and soup de jour arrived tout suite. However, our meals took one hour (I'm not exaggerating) before they arrived. I think the chef is working alone since the time factor wait was uncomfortably awkwardly long. Perhaps they need to hire a line cook. (?) This is not exactly New York City, is it? The redeeming factor to be had of this whole dining experience was that our dinners were delicious and the plate presentation was impeccable. I despise being gouged financially for a drink and no one I know likes to wait an hour listening to opera music in shitty Spring Hill while waiting for dinner. It's obscene. Personally, I think these people are making a fortune because their hours are only five to nine and the place is ridiculously small. You will need to take a out a small loan if you really intend to eat gourmet liberally and enjoy a dessert and have a decent drink or two. It's kind of offensive for this redneck town. The reception, the ambiance and the service was as usual a 5 stars. I had the frogs legs as an appetizer, and carrot soup which were excellent. My husband and I ordered the rack of lamb, which we always do when we dine at Nouvelle Cuisine, and it has always been excellent in taste and tendernessl. Unfortunately we were very dissappointed last night. The lamb was very tough and hard to cut with a knife and hard to chew. The sauces were excellent, and the rest of the meal also. Took my girlfriend here for Christmas dinner before I headed to work and I must say it was an excellent experience. The service and ambiance was great. The owner and server were very attentive and explained everything we had questions about and even explained each cheese on the cheese board. The elk was by far one of the most tasty and tender pieces of meat I have ever had and the filet was amazing. Dessert was amazing. This is our favorite fine dining place in the area. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Isabelle and the staff are always warm and welcoming. The beer and wine menu is excellent. There are several delicious appetizer options. The French onion soup is awesome. The specials are usually hard to pass up. My favorite meal so far has been the elk. My fiancé got the lobster tail the other night and loved it. They haven't served us anything we haven't enjoyed. For dessert, we love the crème brûlée. We had visitor's from Ca. and made a reservation for Feb.15. for a party of five. They looked forward to the restaurant, have been told about the fine food and service. Two of us ordered the carrot soup, to salty and both of us could not enjoy it. One party had Salomon, ask for it well done, but it was decently undercooked. Potatoes and vegetables very tasty. The server did not ask about the uneaten soup or Salmon. Very unusual for this fine restaurant. I think it was a busy night, the staff had to much on there plate. read more

Amazing!!!!! Everything about this place is absolutely perfect. I cannot express enough how great this place is. Staff is pleasant and wonderful and very personable. The menu is plentiful, food choices are unique and delicious. I want to come every week just to try everything on their menu. They have Salmon with their style of sauces, Elk which she said is better than filet mignon, (wish I would've tried it, but wouldn't change a thing for my meal). The only thing I wish it had was a kids menu. I ordered Cabernet Wine with the filet mignon with goat cheese, my daughter ordered shrimp in garlic sauce, my son ordered whitefish with Dijon mustard, and my husband ordered rabbit with plum reduction as their special. To my surprise (location), this was by far the best and most expensive food I have eaten in a long time. That includes many countries. We had the Chateaubriand (only for 2, no single portion). It was extraordinary! I don't know how much the Chateaubriand costs;(TBD costs -to be determined?). My friends had Elk, Filet Mignonon. The price is over $500. Now, the not-so-great stuff. The Chef's Wife, both from Belgium, was taken care of, and she is pushy and argumentative. I tried to order a Panaché in many countries called this way, or Radler in Germany, Bicicletta in Italy, or Shandy beer elsewhere. Light beer with Sprite or Lemonade half and half. It's not that she didn't know what it was and started arguing that she had never heard of it and it didn't exist. I just told her to bring me a regular beer with Sprite. I mix it myself. She wanted to try it and hated it. OK, it's no big deal. But then she pushed some disgusting peach beer and some other fruity beer on me. I relented, tried it, and felt like her, hated it. Was this the end? No, she continued to argue that Radler didn't exist at the Oktoberfest in Munich. I'm from Switzerland and went to Oktoberfest every year for over 15 years before immigrating to the US. So, I didn't enjoy that part at all. It's the only reason I gave them four instead of five stars. read more
