We stopped at this location on our road trip to New Hampshire. Gas was comparable to other stations but we were there for the snacks. I love the chips, desserts, drinks, coffee, etc. it's definitely a one stop shop convenience store. The place was large, clean, and organized.

Then I had to deal with the jerk inside the station. He got really mad that I came back in to ask for money back because I had debited my card for more gas than I actually bought. This was all new to me, and he was really nasty about it. Anyway, I urge people to go somewhere else. This is a poorly run gas-station with angry, hostile people behind the counter.

The man I met told me he had been working there for his family over 20 years, and it's hard to find a better local resource than this for the price of a small tip and your gas. The station was very accessible and neatly kept right before the heart of downtown Amherst. You can pull in from either direction--just know what side of your car has the gas cap! All in all, I would tell international travelers, locals, students, and people of all ages and walks of life to go here. I'm certain they'll make you feel welcome and answer your questions, even in the bitter cold. Again, for full service gas, the price is low so mind to tip your attendant, 10% is a good amount and fits the current era we live in. I was then told this was going to be well over $200. I told the driver my quote and he said that it would not be that low. He agreed to make it just under $200. Little things tell a lot about the company. I feel completely misled and price gouged. The first time using your service. I called them for roadside assistance, was startled by the price, and the dispatcher told me that the Commonwealth (the state) sets prices for towing. I checked on this afterward and I don't think it's true. What the Commonwealth does is to set an upper limit on the price; it doesn't set requirements for a minimum or a standard price. In other words, the company doesn't HAVE to charge so much. I did call another company, Hampshire Towing, and found that their price is competitive, so OK - but they shouldn't claim that the state made them do it.

Everytime we are in the area we try to make it a point to stop in to buy some of their footlong sandwiches. Our favorites include their Italian stallion as well as green monster sandwich. The staff here is generally really polite and they do a great job with making their products. The only downside to this store is the fact that their deli hours are a bit scattered. Every time we show up it's as if we are a few minutes late but when we do get to order our sandwiches, we aren't disappointed. We will continue to stop in here so that we can eat their delicious food as well as pick up snacks.
