I went through the whole process with my Stop&Shop and debit card, got to the end and then the pump just cancelled the transaction, for no reason I could tell, so I had to start over. Then I had to deal with the jerk inside the station. He got really mad that I came back in to ask for money back because I had debited my card for more gas than I actually bought. This was all new to me, and he was really nasty about it. Anyway, I urge people to go somewhere else. This is a poorly run gas-station with angry, hostile people behind the counter.

There are currently 575 stores located in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. I've enjoyed them in RI, FL, and now CT. We stopped at this location on our road trip to New Hampshire. Gas was comparable to other stations but we were there for the snacks. I love the chips, desserts, drinks, coffee, etc. it's definitely a one stop shop convenience store. The place was large, clean, and organized.

Came over and gave us menus and did not introduce herself or said hi how are you. Did not check in on us. She came over and asked if we were ready I asked for a couple more minutes and she came back in less than a minute and asked if we were ready. I felt rushed. Another customer came in and seemed like he was a regular. She was all nice to him. She even sat down next to him and had a conversation. There was another woman there too and she was rude too. I guess if you are not a regular don't expect good service. Was not a good experience.

The man I met told me he had been working there for his family over 20 years, and it's hard to find a better local resource than this for the price of a small tip and your gas. The station was very accessible and neatly kept right before the heart of downtown Amherst. You can pull in from either direction--just know what side of your car has the gas cap! All in all, I would tell international travelers, locals, students, and people of all ages and walks of life to go here. I'm certain they'll make you feel welcome and answer your questions, even in the bitter cold. Again, for full service gas, the price is low so mind to tip your attendant, 10% is a good amount and fits the current era we live in. The days where a single dollar was a good gas station tip were at least 30 years ago. :)

I was then told this was going to be well over $200. I told the driver my quote and he said that it would not be that low. He agreed to make it just under $200. Little things tell a lot about the company. I feel completely misled and price gouged. The first time using your service. I can see how people can get frustrated with towing guys. You call your service and then HOURS…read morelater, a tow arrives. But, in fairness to the tow guys, they have a list, they get to your car when they get to it. If that is unacceptable, I understand, you should call for a private tow and pay up. For me, the roadside assistance service I used called Atlantis Towing. The guy at Atlantis returned my call when I called to ask about when they were coming and, on top of that, was kind and polite. I left the car for him to tow and headed home (leaving the keys where he instructed me to for him). He sent me a picture when the tow was completed. It was a bad day for me (I mean, the very definition of a bad day is having to call for a tow!) and he was the bright spot - kind and responsive. I see all the bad reviews listed here, but I suspect some of that is that when you need a tow, you are beginning the interaction in one of your worst days. For me, my worst day was made less worse by having Atlantis Towing help me out. Thank you Nathan!

His company didn't get payment from the customer and for some reason that upset him, but I helped him and walked him through it.
