Service was good... although they did not have what I really wanted. This was supposed to be a decadent splurge... not something I do often! I wanted Chocolate cake, moist, yummy chocolate cake with no chocolate chips, Just cake.... maybe some light frosting. (Most shops use milk chocolate chips... and they are very sweet, just loaded with sugar. Dark chocolate I can handle, the darker the better! Healthier too!) (yes.. they had chocolate cake with chocolate chips! Bleh!) Good cake does not require that added sweetness, it just gets in the way of enjoying the flavor of good (chocolate or otherwise) cake. America has a huge sugar addiction... and it seems to be getting worse, and many shops use sugar to add more flavor to less than optimal products. But hey, I know I am an anomaly when it comes to sugar. So I got the Pumpkin Spice mini instead... and a Carrot Cake mini for my girlfriend. I was told by the girl at the counter that their carrot cake recipe is not the usually carrot cake, just carrots and pineapple... no raisins or nuts. I thought my girlfriend would still like it, she loves carrot cake. My pumpkin spice was very dry, and very dense.... and I would not buy it again. Not much flavor, especially with all the sweetness of the frosting hiding it. The frosting is overly sweet too.. for my tastes. I did not finish it. My girlfriend suggested that I not buy the carrot cake again either... she said it was also dry. Just ok... not great. Carrot Cake DRY? wow! I walked in with the intention to buy a cake but the staff was very cold and weird acting like I was there to cause trouble. More specifically their worker brianna, who I have encountered before. After I said I was looking she went to the back where another worker (I can't remember her name) came out and stared me down a little asking me if I've found what I'm looking for. I came on a Saturday afternoon and decided to get the red velvet bundlet which was amazing as usual. First time here and they were welcoming. They open daily but closed on Sunday's. Thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes, my Mom now has an addiction to bundt cake, and she doesn't even like cake. It doesn't seem like it's going to be all that special, but holy cow, this is a good cake. I always get extra frosting because it's so yummy. I love the white chocolate raspberry flavor the best. I've tried several other flavors and they are fine, but that one is the best one. They do also have seasonal flavors, and I plan on trying the Peppermint Chocolate very soon. I like that I can order online for pickup. I couldn't wait for my daughter's birthday to come around again to get her a cake from here! Although I expressed how much I loved my daughter's 8" lemon cake that we got her last year, I ended up with a cake from elsewhere on my birthday and it wasn't my favorite cake flavor either. So this year I got my daughter the June flavor, Lemon Raspberry! We got her the 10" cake since we had family and a few of her friends over. The cake is truly decadent and moist. The icing is extra sweet, yet balanced so I end up taking a spoonful of it from the middle of the bundt! Yes, they fill the middle with the icing! Why the 4 stars? Well, I ordered both times online and my cakes were ready on time. The issue is since payment is done online they kind of just got my cake and handed it to me and dismissed me both times. This time I was looking for candles (an up sell for them) and I asked if there were any more of a certain number in a certain style they had available and they guy says, we just have what's out. Okaaaaay, then when he got my cake he handed it to me even though I was in the middle of looking for candles to buy! So I grabbed it but put it back down on the counter so I could buy candles. Strangely enough someone who care in right after me, buying a smaller cake than mine, got special treatment and was told how the cake should be handled. I got none of that. Just my money taken for the candles. I wonder why? I'm a nice person, I smiled and was excited about how cute the cake was. Oh well. Still a great cake. Came here for the first time on a recommendation from my daughter's teacher. I'm so glad I came in and now know where it is located since I'll definitely be back! The white chocolate raspberry is absolutely amazing. It's not overly sweet and the cake is just so moist that it melts in your mouth. The cakes are beautiful as well. Upon walking in, you proceed up to the counter where there are several flavors of the mini bundts displayed in the refrigerated case. They also have bite sized bundts available by the dozen. Pricing is very reasonable--$4.29 for the mini bundtlets. My only complaint was that the employee working when I went was not very customer friendly. I mentioned it was my first time there and didn't really know how to order. Al she said was that the sample of the Day was off to the side and I could help myself, which I did and how I made the choice of ordering. It was a fellow customer that's a regular from what it seemed that made some suggestions and told me about the different options available. But despite this, I'll still be back because it's so delicious. I also love that you can order dozens of these and they have tiered cake options. Great little shop! If you've never had a bundt cake from here I'd suggest finding a friend that loves it and eat it at their birthday! Just kidding. There are small cakes that you can try out and they are super delicious! Their storefront has the most adorable decor and sells knick knacks and such should you need a present to go with your bundt cake. The staff is welcoming and helpful. My sister and my daughter brought me a cake. First of all it was beautiful!! Secondly it was truly melt in your mouth delicious. The cake itself was moist and the frosting was sooo good. I'm so excited to see that Nothing Bundt Cakes is finally in Tampa. I first tried them in Chicago and I fell in love with them instantaneously. Now, they have two locations and one more on the way in Wesley Chapel by Wiregrass. That's music to my ears! This is the first time I actually stopped by this location. The person working was very nice and welcoming. This location is a nice size. There is no where to sit and enjoy your cake. It is take out but they give u a nice container so u can carry it anywhere. They usually have two samples to try. This time I had the red velvet and cinnamon. I picked up one lemon for me and one red velvet for my hubby. I wish they also had pupcakes too. That would be perfect. I used my birthday couple for a free bundtlet. The other one was about $4. I think it's a decent price bc it's a good size and it's so good! Why 5 stars? Because I want to eat so many of these that I turn into a bundt cake. --- --- --- I've been to the Publix in the parking lot about a million times. I've been to Firehouse Subs, Moe's and even New Balance a combined 50+ times. But I never even knew that Nothing Bundt Cakes existed! It's kind of hidden in the corner of the plaza and apparently did a great job of laying low... until now! My wife and I recently tried the strawberries and cream flavor at the Taste of South Tampa and ended up voting them as the best bite of the festival! I could not believe how perfect that little cake was! Ever since TOST, I could not stop thinking of that deliciousness. I looked up to see where Nothing Bundt Cakes was located, and that's when I was shocked to find out that it was in the same plaza that I visit weekly! At nearly the first chance I had to visit, my wife and I stopped in the store. We were looking for something smaller so that we could sample as many flavors as possible. They have large cakes, medium sized ones (1-2 servings, depending on how much you'd want) or small little guys (1-2 bites) similar to what we tried at TOST. While I kind of wanted to get a dozen of the little ones (12 is the minimum purchase for those) my wife opted to just grab a few of the medium sized cakes. We were just going to get 3, but they have a buy 4, get 1 free deal, so we opted for 5 :) Carrot Cake - If you like carrot cake, you'll very much enjoy this! Strawberries & Cream - Still our favorite! This thing is basically heaven in a plastic container. Confetti - I almost didn't order this one, but it turned out to be one of my favorites! White Chocolate Raspberry - It seems that this is their most popular and I understand why. Pecan Praline - This one was pretty bland. It just tasted like vanilla cake.
