I saw this review and had to chime in as someone who actually frequents Nothing Bundt Cakes during their posted business hours (and, yes, actually eats the delicious 5-star cakes). Giving a one-star because you showed up after closing is like blaming the sun for setting too early. You didn't even base it on the actual store or the product? And shame on you, Nothing Bundt Cakes, for not realizing it was LL's birthday! How could you possibly lock the doors without consulting her calendar first? I was sharing it with my partner and bummed I couldn't eat the whole thing. I'm currently on vacation in North Carolina and a very close friend of mine was celebrating a birthday today. I decided to do an online order to have a cake delivered to her home. She received the cake and was ecstatic however, when we took a closer look at the message card we noticed that there were several errors on the card. Thinking this was an error on my end, I went back to my confirmation email which showed how I drafted the message and to my surprise, there were no errors on my end. I contacted the store and was told the best they could do was refund me the price of the message card which was $.50. I feel terrible because, I paid for the product to be a certain way and it was not delivered as such. The store did confirm that on their end, the message did have the error so there seems to be some sort of a glitch in the system for anyone making an online orders. I am a huge fan of the company and have used them several times, but this is just unfair. For $90 I expected perfection. Probably won't be back even though we've been long time customers. My son is 5 and to celebrate his first day of kindergarten we came to NBC. He's recently been reintroducing gluten so this was going to be an extra special treat because he could have so many choices. He wanted sprinkles on his confetti cake because he saw them on a new featured cake. We weren't allowed to have literally a teaspoon or less of sprinkles because it violates their "brand standards." I don't know about other people but I think customer service and making a little boys day is more important. Brand standards. SMH.
