Not sure to be honest, I order a birthday cake 3 weeks early to give the baker enough time to make and get a fresh cake, I believe the cake was done 3 weeks early and sat in the fridge for that period of time ... Top it off they had a different name on my $150.00 dollar cake, I picked it up on the day of my wife's b-day crunched in time I had no choice but to take it. Not sure where the name Super Aiden came from - It did some good to enlighten my wife birthday it was the joke of the night some good jokes came out of it and pretty good laughter. Thanks for that !. I reached out yesterday to request a quote for cupcakes for an event. The number was higher than my budget for this event, but I would've considered them for something else down the line. I politely thanked the owner and said this was out of my price range, but thank you, and they immediately scornfully responded with "Look into Albertsons." I have nothing against Albertsons or grocery store cupcakes, but this sort of response was neither necessary nor warranted. Can't say I will be recommending this place to anyone. read more

We celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased with how the cake turned out. I had done ALL communication via text. I was very pleased that they allowed pick ups on Sunday morning. A week before I wanted to confirm in person at their shop but it was closed although the sign said open. That did give me pause however Friday evening I text the number confirming pick up and quickly got a response. Saturday evening I received a text asking me to adjust the pick up time later by 3 hours. I was concerned but still hopeful. My husband picked up the cake and I was blown away by how beautiful it was! Next taste. Everyone raved about the cake it was moist and yummy! Vanilla with fresh strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. The price was SO reasonable. I've bought custom cakes before and paid twice the price and didn't get as many positive comments. My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday, so he ordered a cake from Dulce bakery and he specifically told the owner do you make cakes with the cream that is not too sweet. She told my husband yes I can make it with the cream that is not too less sweet. So when my husband picked it up he brought it home and when it was time to eat it, I asked my husband are you sure this is the whip cream that is not so sweet he yes so we had a slice and it was so so sweet. My husband called the owner the next day and explained to her that it was not the right whip cream. He paid $80 dollars for a round 7x7 cake and I even called and explained to her and I told her we both had one slice and we didn't like the cake because she used butter cream and we asked for whipped cream. She told me your husband saw it he should have said something. He didn't know the difference until we both had a slice. Before this goes to long of an explanation she hung up on me I called her back and said did you just hung up on me and her response was she couldn't hear me. She lied cause I could hear her clearly. Anyway she finally told me bring the cake and I'll give you a full refund I said I don't have the cake it's already in the trash can she said it doesn't matter bring me the and I will give you the money. Okay here I go and when I got there she saw the cake in the trash bag and said no I will not give you a refund because you sliced the cake and I said I told you that already and she said it didn't matter that I would still get my refund. Very unprofessional customer service don't waste your time ordering any cakes from her business she lied from the beginning to the end. read more

Extremely odd experience today. I walked in with a friend that is a baker to try out one of the local spots. We like to compare and get ideas. Well as soon as I tell the lady/owner that I have a groupon she tells me how groupon ripped them off and she is just giving her baked goods away. Well I bought it so what am I supposed to do? Feel bad and say f it? She did go on about it for quite sometime then we settled on getting 10 dollars worth of cookies. I would just forget the 10 extra dollars. She wanted five at first but I PAID 10 dollars for the groupon but its only fair to get my moneys worth. She kept insisting I buy her mini cupcakes for 2.50 each but I insisted on cookies. The case the cookies are displayed in is really beautiful but the gnats flying around INSIDE turned me off a bit. I let some of them out when I opened it and shooed them. Anyways you can see the mound of cookies we ended up when I post my pics. My story isn't done though as we are checking out she insists I show her the redeemed portion again. I stepped outside to get better wifi, came in and her husband is standing behind her staring at me and saying make sure she redeems. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I shot some photos of the cakes she does, they look really good. I had a couple of the cookies and think they were fresh and pretty good. What I got out of this experience is the owner is a baker, and from the looks and taste of things, a good one. She is not a business owner, it was weird. I probably won't return. read more

My parents love this bakery (and so do I). We live right across the street from it and we are so lucky! Their bread is always fresh. The are super nice to my parents too. Not often do we get bakeries where they have fresh, good bread. I was wondering do you guys name cakes de mil ojas? That's a cake I've been wanting bakeries to make (but none of them do!). We asked Aracelli to create a duck them cake from an online photo and she matched them to perfection.. plus the cupcakes on same theme were also awesome and kids loved them a lot. Smash cake we asked for a plain one but she added a small ducky on top which was nice idea to attract our daughter to smash.. overall a good experience and will definitely recommend her to friends. read more
