This shop is so adorable. When you walk in, it feels like the cutest boutique and the staff are so friendly and greet you right away. The cakes are so decadent and moist and you can tell it's fresh, homemade, and doesn't taste like a cake mix. We chose banana pudding and the gluten free raspberry lemon. Both were fantastic choices! We didn't realize the lemon raspberry was gluten free but my husband loved it anyway. He said you could tell it was different but was very enjoyable. read more

What a cutie bake shop conveniently located in the Robinson shopping area. We couldn't decide on one flavor, so we got 3 of the little cakes, "Bundtlets"! Picked up two seasonal bundtlets that I ordered online. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the little shop was clean, brightly lit, and perfectly decorated for the fall! The bundt cakes were so moist and not too sweet. This one had cream cheese icing with reese's pieces on top and inside. Amazing. What a treat! I first tasted the magic of a Nothing Bundt Cake three years ago while living in Florida. Now back in Pittsburgh, I was pleasantly surprised to find this location in a place that I frequent quite often. Finally! I've been waiting for you! I took my mother with me to discover the magic for herself, and she gave the cakes a thumbs up! Tonight, my husband surprised us and brought home delicious little Bundt cakes. They were so good and such a nice surprise. My husband got himself the red velvet Bundt. He said it was extremely moist and had chocolate chips in it which he loved. He got my mom the chocolate Bundt which also had chocolate chips. My Bundt was confetti and was also moist and delicious. This is the third location of Nothing Bundt Cakes in the Pittsburgh area. All of them are basically the same. Their cakes have the striped icing going down around all sides. The sell regular size Bundt cakes and mini Bundt cakes. In addition they sell party supplies for that special occasion. They have at least 5 standard flavors and one flavor that rotates each month according to the season. Currently that flavor is pumpkin spice. They do offer a rewards program and during your birthday month you are entitled to a free mini bundtlet. I've tried the red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, white chocolate raspberry, lemon, and carrot cakes. I've never been disappointed in any of them. Please note however that since their ingredients are fresh they advise you not to freeze their cakes. They only have a shelf life of about 3-5 days. For this reason I prefer to get the minis. If you are planning a party then you can decorate the top of your bundt cake to celebrate the special occasion. Regular size bundt cakes come in 8" or 10" but you can also get them tiered if you wish to serve a large group of people. Check their website for ideas. Located in the Pointe Center near Walmart in a strip mall plenty of parking is available. read more

I decided to try the featured peppermint chocolate chip buntlet cake, which is about the size of a Big Mac, and I'm SO glad I did! The flavor was rich and noticeable without being overpowering, and the cream cheese frosting was equally delightful. Ok, let me start with the only negative - they ain't cheap, but once you get over that hurdle, you will LOVE these cakes and be hooked. The cakes themselves are (regardless of flavor choice) universally moist and delicious. The icing is sweet but not to sweet. Today I went with an 8" lemon cake with a flower decoration to celebrate my wife's recent promotion. We purchased it at 3:00 and it was half eaten by 7:30. Established in 1997.

To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, and real cream cheese; nothing was too good to achieve perfection. And perfection are those decadent, slowly melting bites, we all know and love. The service was quick. We didn't have to wait for the sandwiches, but that was pretty normal as they were making them in House as you waited so they were fresh. We tried everything off the bakery and it was absolutely amazing. We even brought some home for my son who loved pop tarts. The bakery was cute and it was small, but it was very perfect for where it was. It wasn't indoor sitting area, but there was a couple tables outside and usually I would think people would take their food and go and that's what we were doing so it was perfect.

How many places can you say where you're drinking beer inside the church. They do have a restaurant here and when we stop by on a Monday night, they were we're pretty steady. There is street parking around this location as well. I had the strawberry rhubarb summer ale. It was very light, but still had great room. An easy summer drinker. My husband had the pious monk dunkel and enjoyed it - come to find out - he had it before the last time we were here!

There was a friendly gal at the door taking names and numbers. I could hardly believe the wait time but decided to put down my name and do a little window shopping during the wait. We were eventually called and texted to let us know our table was ready. Our table was in the very back corner, next to a group of girls loudly talking about their drunken escapades the night before. It was entertaining to say the least. Our server was super friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions/modifications. I ordered a Turkish Benedict on gluten free toast.... So. Good. Amazing flavors. My daughter got the croissant avocado toast which she loved. I also got a pistachio latte and was pleasantly surprised to see the used pistachio butter and not a syrup. It was lovely. I had to keep my child from drinking it all! While the wait was long, it was definitely worth it. The space is smaller than I imagined. The food came out fast for how packed it was. It's worth it!

MY FAVORITE!! La…read morePrima has my heart, especially the Strip District location This is the very first La Prima Espresso shop, located at 21st & Penn. It's also a veteran-owned small business, which makes supporting it even better. With the warmer weather coming, I love seeing people outside playing cards, sipping lattes, and bringing their dogs along. You can grab fresh beans to make at home, enjoy local pastries in the morning (until they sell out), and the baristas are incredibly talented. Such a special spot full of history, community, and really great coffee.

The Shakshouka was bomb the eggs were poached to perfection! The bread was nice and fresh it was soft but still sturdy enough to use to dip! The cereal milk latte is another staple for me I mean how can it not be. The espresso was delicious and the Honey Nut Cheerios was the perfect subtle flavor! Not too sweet which i appreciate. Display cases were full of baked goods such as cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, cruffins, tarts, cakes, breads. I have been to the Mediterranean, and I thought that most of the baked goods here were not Mediterranean. While I waited in a slowly moving line of other customers to order from the bakery, I browsed the shelves in the market. I saw cheeses, bottled beverages such as wines, packaged foods such as grape leaves, and chocolates. I could not find price tags on all foods, so I recommend that those be added. I purchased three baked goods for a total of $15. I rate the croissticky as 5 stars, the cinnamon roll as 3.5 stars, and the raisin-oatmeal cookie as 4 stars.
