I received this cake for my birthday and it was so good!!! It was the snickerdoodle flavor and it was very similar to a cinnamon/Cinnabon-ish taste. So disappointed in my first experience with this bakery. I had ordered my sons birthday cake and bundtinies weeks in advance, when I went to pick up the day of my order was not even ready and the flavors that I had originally ordered they did not have. Even the attendant who was helping me was confused as to why it was not even done or why I was not called to be notified about the flavors I had chosen. I had to choose flavors that we didn't even want. Along with my order I had also purchased candles, which they didn't even have and I had to pay extra for some other candles that were more expensive. I had to wait about another hour for my order to be made with flavors I did not want, and was not even offered a refund or a discount for all the inconvenience. Good cake but super slow service incompetent employees on the register holding everyone up and not having correct information

I heard how wear this place is, so my husband and I finally made it here yesterday. We walked in and we see two people shopping around, we didn't see anyone helping them, we walked around for a few minutes. We still don't see an employee, we spent about 10 minutes in there we go near the register, this young girl comes out from the back. She doesn't say hi, she just asked "do you need anything?" We asked for a small red velvet cake, she gets it tells us our total, I give her a credit card she charges us and put my card and receipt on the counter........ it might not be a big deal to you guys, but since it was our first time here I wish someone would have been happy to welcome us, tell us about the cakes, maybe even give us a smile. They sell aprons, cupcake decorating stuff, candles, and a bunch of other knick knacks that you should definitely check out when you're here! In the middle of the store is their selection of different bundt cakes and the different sizes they offer. A single bundt cake is $4.29! Service was also very friendly! The lady who took care of my order had informed me that if I wanted to choose my own flavors then I can do so. And they also provide free samples on the left side of the wall. I tried their white white chocolate and it was just wonderful. At the end of my transaction she even provided forks and napkins for me. :) Overall, this place is simply heaven. I literally go to this location almost every Thursday because my kid has a class nearby. Recently she's been saying they ran out of forks and it's 3:45! Ran out of forks 3 Thursdays in a row?? I was in the neighborhood and stopped in on a whim just to check out this local place. I was invited to try the lemon sample and was amazed at the wonderful flavor and moist texture of the sample bundt cake. So I took a few small bundt cakes home to try with the family. The server helped me out with selecting my choices letting me know that the carrot cake was a little more like a spice cake (nice blend and not overpowering). I ended up with red velvet, lemon and carrot. Each of them were a hit. Would love to come in again and buy another when we are in the area. read more

One star for my experience here & Emily's lack of customer service one Saturday afternoon. I came in without calling in my order & it took a ridiculous amount of time to get my trio of bundtinis wrapped in cellophane & adorned with ribbon, a flower, & a happy birthday flag. I was obviously purchasing a gift so I don't know why Emily took zero care in making it look presentable. The way the cellophane was cut was embarrassing & the icing on the cake -- she forgot the happy birthday flag. Nice. I prefer other bakeries, but came here because the birthday celebrant loves NBC. It's a slow Thursday afternoon at 2 pm and there's not a single customer in the store. I go in and the clerk asks for my order and all I need is a dozen of the mix bundtlets. He says it will be ready in 10 mins. I say sure. Five more customers enter approximately 2 mins later the and they are all helped. 20 mins go by and I ask where my order was. He goes to the back and I hear him go into the fridge. He gives me the box and it's ice cold. If it was in the fridge why make me wait 20 mins. I missed my lunch break and I couldn't give it to the person it was intended for. We asked for the cupcake trio, and specified that we wanted the dark blue ribbon, sunflower, and Happy Birthday sign. Then, Emily rudely asked, "Which color?" A HORRIBLY wrapped cupcake trio that looked like a five year old cut the cellophane for poor Emily! 100% unprofessionally wrapped! AND she didn't put the Happy Birthday sign on it that we specifically asked for. Expect this if you are being helped by Emily. Note: She was very rude to everyone... we observed her demeanor with the other customers, and found that Emily is in dire need of Customer Service classes. Someone please sign her up ASAP. Last time I'm asking for these without first checking because every single time without fail, no matter how I carry them, they are ass up with the frosting everywhere. They conveniently "tape" it for you while you're not looking and give it to you. Not even one time have all the bundtinis ever been right side up. I walked in and picked up a carrot cake and a gluten free buntlet. The Carrot bunt cake was delicious, but a bit much frosting for me. I wish they had some cream cheese frosting (they might, but I didn't think to look). The cake was a decent price and yummy. The gluten free cake, was not so good. It just didn't hit the spot, probably wouldn't come here again for GF. At the holidays, I can understand how the store could run low on popular flavors. I call ahead in those instances. But when you go in on a random non-holiday week hoping to try their special flavor - the one they've been promoting - and they are "out right now," that seems weird. It's the flavor of the month! It would make sense to have extra. For me, this happens every time. I've also called ahead for a specific flavor and when I go to pick up my order, they are mysteriously out. The cakes are great at any locations however i have given this location a couple of tries before my review. Hoping the service would change. They are not rude but they are not warm and fuzzy. people walk in and there is a pretty long pause before anyone acknowledges you and they are standing right there. Even if you are packing the person ahead of me's items, you can still say hello, be right with you. Then when it's time it's still semi cold. Again, I've come here many many times and each time I've seen different people. very very young folks and regular adults, but they all have the same not too warm demeanor.
