The service was great and we enjoyed our conversation with the sweet young lady at the counter. The dessert was all so good and wish we lived closer, well better not that could be too tempting. Lol. We got four different cake bites and not sure what this is called but it was like cake in a container, Oreo/Cookie Monster. The cake container was my favorite! The small cake bites, confetti, red velvet, strawberry shortcake, and I don't remember. Either wedding cake or vanilla. The cake bites were a mix of dry with what seemed no flavor, maybe because it was dry/old. The red velvet was more moist and delicious! I'd give the place another try but with fresh options. The employee was polite, very informative. It's a cute little shop, bathroom was in a separate building, not a far walk. Outside seating, in front and back of shop, vending machine with their products. Giving three stars because of how dry, possibly old the cake bites were. Again, I'd try again in hopes of options that are fresh. I assume on Monday they are baking fresh products that may not been out yet.

I love the green soft chairs, the tables, and the chef statue greeting you as you pull in front of the building. He's right there in the window. The bistro honestly takes your breath away. I love it! So in the last two weeks, I've been back exactly four times. My first introduction was the Croissant Scramble with chicken and veggies inside, with the Arnold Palmer. My friend got the Croissant Scramble with brisket. The presentation of the croissants when brought to the table blew me away. It was wrapped up in the cutest paper with the ends twisted. The topic of conversation was how good the croissants were. Before we left, we ordered some delicious cookies. The chocolate chips were yummy. So I went the following day and grabbed some pastries! One in particular was the Pecan Bar. The following week, another friend and I stopped in for the Chicken Pesto Omelet. I like that the fire-roasted bell peppers and onions are cooked, if that's the right word. But l have to tell you, the Mexican Hot Chocolate drink brings on the flavor, as does the ice-cold Mocha. Of course, we got the Pecan Bar for dessert. So yes, I went back yesterday for the Almond Croissant. I know, I know!

When I arrived, I was told the cake wasn't ready and was asked if I could come back the next morning--which obviously didn't work given the timing of the event. As a substitute, they offered me a pre-made cake from their display case and assured me it was chocolate like I originally ordered, just with a chocolate mousse filling. They refunded me $15 to account for the difference, and I felt pressured to accept since I needed something for the dinner that night. Unfortunately, the situation got worse from there. When we cut into the cake, it turned out to be confetti--not chocolate. Then, when we tried to eat it, it was clearly stale, dry, and inedible. No one touched it after the first bites. It completely missed the mark for what was supposed to be a special moment. What's especially frustrating is that I ordered from them last year for the same occasion, and everything went perfectly--that's why I trusted them again. This time, however, it was a complete letdown from start to finish. When I called the next day to request a refund, I asked to speak with a manager but was told that wasn't possible. Instead, I was told I would only be offered a partial refund because I accepted the replacement cake. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and quality here was really disappointing--especially for something as important as a birthday celebration.

Immediately decided to come here for my daughter's birthday cake. I recently tried and failed at curating a beautiful but disgusting cake from a different bakery so I did not want to mess this one up! I called and the owner was very upfront about flavors, pricing, decor and overall cake chemistry, this transparency is so important! We ended up getting something simple but she truly delivered! Flavor profile was insane. Cake was soft and melt in your mouth delicious. When I say I hateeeeee buttercream with a passion and prefer whipped icing - primarily based on the fact that everyone likes buttercream and store bought versions are just gross to me - I was hesitant to try this one but BAYBEEEEEE. Stress no more. The flavor on this cake was definitely made with love and thats apparent in the service, delivery and overall preparation. Love love love and highly recommend you come here for special occasion based treats!! Well done team

We've been loyal customers of Sweet Tooth Parlor Bakery for over four years and have ordered my…read moredaughter's birthday cake from them year after year. We've always loved the quality of their cakes and were happy to support a local business, which is why it's disappointing that we won't be able to continue using them this year. Historically, we've paid around $135 for the same style of birthday cake. This year, we were quoted $235 for essentially the same cake--a price increase of more than 70%. While I completely understand that costs have gone up and businesses have had to adjust pricing due to inflation and increased vendor costs, this level of increase feels excessive, especially for a child's birthday cake. I reached out to Diane, the owner, to better understand the significant jump in pricing. After about a week, I received a response stating that their vendors' prices had increased. While I appreciate the explanation, it doesn't change the fact that a more than 70% increase is difficult for many families to justify. This review isn't meant to criticize the quality of their work, which has always been excellent. Rather, it's to share the experience of a long-time customer who has unfortunately been priced out after years of supporting the business. It's disappointing to have to look elsewhere after so many years, but at the current pricing, we simply can't justify the cost.

Back then, Austin needed a bakery so badly that easy tiger was a standout savior. Fresh bread (still great today!) and pastries were so welcome. At some point after Covid, quality started slipping. Pastries weren't changing. The croissants were soft with no crunch. The chicken schnitzel which is used to be thin had turn into a thick blob basically a giant chicken nugget. The pretzels I always loved tasted stale like they baked them and left them sitting under heat lamps for hours. Sandwiches tasted noticeably worse. Still, we continued to come here. And then they were sold in the last year. New owners and what's the first thing they do? Fix issues? No that would be hard. They raised prices. A LOT. Coffees cost more than anywhere else in the area. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids meal hits $90 with zero leftovers. Every time I come here I feel so squeezed and it's never worth it. So this is it. After 7 years I'm through. The place has so much potential but whatever is happening here I cannot support. There are far better bakeries (looking at you sugarwolf) and far better coffee places (literally dozens). Here is to hoping for a turnaround.
