Delightful! 4 cheese pizza (with bleu cheese) was delicious. The burrata salad was right on time with added olive oil and basalmic vinegar. White sangria Best of our trip!! They served a little dish of a tuna spread with mayo and cracker "sticks" that we polished off. Ada was an excellent waitress! Gelato was perfect finish to our lunch. Bravo! read more

Nosolo Italia Belem is one of my favorite treat experiences in Lisbon. The waterfront views are amazing and create a great feeling of relaxation and watching of the boats going by on the Tagus River. The staff has always been attentive and friendly and greet me warmly as a returning regular of about twice a month typically. I love their lasagna al forno and the caprese salad is great too. And then a nice array of dessert options. Typically get the Copa Banana sundae. Their pizzas are also tasty. First discovered this mini chain of about eight locations down in the Algarve and loved it and then found their Lisbon location on the river and their location in the Commerce Square. And they now have a location in Porto that I look forward to trying sometime. But this particular location is my favorite. read more

Great water front view! Reasonable prices. Close to all the local attractions like the Belém tower and the monastery. Friendly staff and really great quality food. Sit outside and you have the best view of the bridge and the museum that's a block away. 9/10 would recommend. read more

Heavy rain and strong winds left us with no where to go but here, and it was a pleasant surprise! We decided to stay awhile and eat an early lunch/dessert. The pizza is big enough to share for 2-3 people, depending on how hungry you are. We enjoyed the pizza with white cream sauce, chicken, bacon, onion and mushroom. Still having room for dessert so we ordered a crepe. This crepe was so big it made our mouths drop. The gelato toppings were absolutely delicious, as well as the fruit. If you are around Belem and sight seeing at the monument of discoveries, stop by here for a bite to eat, dessert, or both! read more

Average italian restaurant (pizza/pasta) with an Italian gelateria associated. I stopped in after visiting the monument as I guest do most visitors, and sampled the pizza. I can only describe the pizza as being overly average. The location for the restaurant however is excellent with great views out over the water, and to the monument. Seats are available both inside; and outside (under a shade, with heaters). The one thing that saved the restaurant from a 2 star review was the Cafe Belem (with no info on the menu to explain what it is!) It is an expresso with a dollop of ice-cream. My waiter recommended the cinnamon ice cream - which I tried - and determined that it was a most excellent combination. TOURIST TRAP. Hours said that they closed at 1am, so we figured that we would have time getting there at 110:50pm. As soon as we arrived, we were rushed to place our order. I ordered a caprese salad and my boyfriend ordered the spaghetti bolognese. There were prepackaged breadsticks on the table, which I opened and ate. It was not until I was waiting on the food and reading other reviews that I realized that there was a charge for the cracker like sticks. I didn't know that it was possible to mess up a caprese salad, which is simply mozzarella and tomato, but it was horrible. They brought out balsamic, which was in a spray bottle. My boyfriend stated that his spaghetti had no flavor and was a very small portion for 13€. For dessert, we each ordered a cup of gelato. Again, I did not think that we could go wrong with the gelato, but mine was flavorless and had large pieces of ice within the scoop. To top it off, we got to the register and saw a TINY post the size of a business card that said they did not accept any credit cards. This should have been posted in front of the establishment and on the menu. Luckily we were staying at the Altis Belém two blocks down and I was able to run to the hotel and get more cash. Located on the water by the Padrao dos Descobrimentos Monument. The meñu had some great choices. I got the seafood pasta and caprese salad and gelato for dessert. The food was excellent. Just finished eating at the restaurant , service was good, food was ok, but went to pay and noticed items that was on the table (I thought was free) were of astronomical prices. 4 breadsticks were 9.4 euros. My fault for not knowing this was Portuguese culture. I'm totally on a learning curve about Portuguese table culture, but when I was basically scolded after spending over 109 euros for lunch, I was offended enough to write a review. It was nice finding Nosolo Italia after walking around the local sites in Belem. The restaurant is large with big glass walls allowing a lot of light coming in. There is a large patio with a glass wall dividing it from the indoor seating, sitting by the glass wall literally felt like sitting half an inch away from someone. The location is nice as you can see the water and the war monument from any table. The food was nothing special, but acceptable. Sandes primavera was a somewhat dry and bland sandwich, at least I had a beer for some taste. The Crepe Frango was a very large plate of coldish crepe with chicken slivers and pineapple inside. It was more like a chicken salad wrapped up in a pancake. I prefer it when a crepe is heated up and am not a fan of cold chicken. The ice coffee was just terrible, served with 90% foamy froth. Exoected something more cold and refreshing. Long lines to the restroom as people from the street walk in a treat it like a public restroom. read more
