Outstanding Italian ice cream in lisboa. Fruit flavours change with the season so tiu know they are fresh and OG and use real fruits. Had the mango and honeydew melon combo. Tasted so fresh. Had Mango bits too. Less sugar added. The gelato lets the fruit flavours shine thru. Long line ups for sure. Heard some italians raving about how good the gelati is. Also tried the hazelnut and again, the sweetness wasnt heavy but light and refreshing. You can savour the aroma of the nut. A bit pricey but you only live once. Cheers! Happy eating!

I've never tasted gelato like this. It's a creamy, dreamy blend of anything you can think of. I had coconut chocolate and passion fruit; wow, two flavors that you wouldn't think would go together! I love it so much that I ordered another one, don't judge me. Whenever im in Portugal again, im adding this to my must return to the place!

Wonderfully smooth gelato rivaling those found in Italy, although a bit too touristy of an experience. I ordered the pistachio gelato and was not disappointed!

Everyone made sure to tell us that this was a must-try and it did not disappoint!! It was delicious! I loved how the flavors were kind of mixed as they were scooped so you could make awesome combinations! Mango and vanilla was my favorite! I had it almost every day I was staying here. Another family favorite was chocolate and coconut. They had so many flavor options! We also tried a crepe, which was so good as well!!

Stop by Santini for their yummy gelato! The line was out the door when I was here - it wasn't even that sunny of a day. The line didn't move as quickly as I wanted but I'm from New York. You have to pay for how many scoops you want first. It was a bit disorganized in the store and not much english was spoken but rather a lot of pointing. I enjoyed the coconut and mango flavors. It wasn't the best gelato I've ever had but it was super fruity and did hit the spot. The mango was lighter and more refreshing while the coconut literally tasted like coconut. If you like coconut, then you'll like the coconut gelato. But if you're still craving gelato then you can actually still get some in the Time Out Market!

The best gelato I have ever tasted! The fruit flavors are so bright and refreshing. Mango and raspberry were a great combo. Line moves really quickly despite this being a busy shop. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy this treat in this warm beautiful town.

Very good gelato. NOT the best in the world like some reviewers have said, but certainly among the best in the area. What makes Santini stand out are the intense flavors. The cinnamon has bite. The lemon is sour. The coconut tastes like coconut, and the cherry actually tastes fruity and not like "cherry flavor." I would NOT compare this to the best of Italy. This is still ice cream -- thicker, heavier than the best gelato. The fruit flavors here still don't taste like fresh fruit -- not like the best berry and melon flavors of Italy. But I'll still come back.

Might be hard to see the sign. It's a yellow building.

Beach. Sun. Ice cream. Happy face. Santini's is situated in the heart of the beach town of Cascais. There's no better place on the strip to cool down after an afternoon on the beach. PROTIP1: the large gets you a combination of 4 flavours! Perfect for sharing with two people. Mango-passionfruit-lemon-pineapple made a great combo. PROTIP2: there's a small (and uber clean) washroom hidden behind a couple doors on the side of the restaurant. We sat outside on the patio. It's a little cramped but great for people watching.

It seemed like a bit of a hole in the wall, which I always think makes the best food, so I gave it (and our tour guide) the benefit of the doubt, and I realized quickly that it had steady traffic and a constant line, which is always a good sign. I got the smoked ham and fresh cheese on a fresh baguette - the smoked ham was like a prosciutto and the fresh cheese like a ricotta, with lettuce, tomato, olive oil, and dried oregano. Very fresh, simple, bread was nice and crusty, and the olive oil and oregano were a nice touch. Seemed more of an Italian-inspired lunch to me, but I'm not complaining! Good value, too, at about only 4 euros per sandwich. No outdoor seating and limited seating inside, but there's a washroom and the tap is outside of it, so you can actually even fill up your water bottle here as well. On the left side, when you first walk in, there's also a little section for gelato - not sure if this is part of Puro Sabor or another side shop within, but either way, you can get a sandwich and dessert in the same spot.

It was just what I needed. I selected a scoop of the Banana Chocolate gelato and thought it was delicious. The banana gelato didn't taste artificial and there was a good amount of rich, creamy chocolate chunks. Prices are reasonable and there is a large selection of gelato flavors. The cashier was attentive, although a little pushy and impatient. We had walked in a few minutes before close and she made it very clear that we would need to leave right after ordering. She was also pretty impatient with us as we placed our order. All in all, I was happy with the gelato and my only regret was not ordering a larger size!

Despite the crowd, the service moved surprisingly fast and the whole experience felt well organized. You pay based on cone size rather than by the scoop, which means you can load up on flavors without the guilt of counting portions. I went with pistachio, mango and blueberry cheesecake, and the combination worked beautifully. What really sets Amorino apart is the presentation, the staff shape the gelato into a stunning flower design that almost feels too pretty to eat. I also grabbed a Nutella crepe which was every bit as good as it sounds. Beyond the gelato there are plenty of options to explore including their famous macarons, so it is worth taking a moment to browse before you order.
