    The large to-go containers

Our tour guide recommended this shop for the best gelato in Cascais. You pre-pay as you enter and the get in line. They have a few tables inside. They have many flavors to choose from and it's hard to pick just one, but I preferred the Coco and it was very good with shredded coco nut mixed in. The lady in front of me ordered two huge containers to go. They looked delish. The shop is very clean and the service was very fast. A nice stop in Cascais!

Who can say no to gelato? Pistachio is my go to flavor and this is a hit. I also really enjoyed the fig flavor as well as the mixed fruits.

Pre pay first before you order. 3 different sizes in cups or cones, or pay extra for a waffle cone. Creamy and light and full flavors pick one or two even tree.

I know this place is insanely famous but I have to be honest with you, if it wasn't the hype and location I'm not sure it would be memorable at all. The gelato is very forgettable actually :/ The flavors are cute and unique in some way. For a small helping you get two flavors which is beat. You prepay as you enter and then order your cup or cone and your flavors. Of course the gelato is non-creamy here (and that's what they are known for in a way) Was ok overall. Nothing to write home about

It was good but I expected more From the raving reviews wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be. I ordered small chocolate coffee and pistachio flavors. Maybe I didn't order the best they have because other reviews indicate this is really good. Hot Coffee was good.

Gelato was delicious. You pay when you enter - there is a large menu behind the cashier. Small cups are 2 scoops, medium 3 scoops, and large 4 scoops! All the flavors were delicious. We got passion fruit, apple pie, coconut, and hazelnut - all the flavors were delicious. Coconut and Apple pie were my favorites. We paid in cash, I wasn't sure if they accept credit cards or not. Definitely recommend this place!

Great fresh gelato. Highly recommend to try when in Cascasi. The line moves fast so don't be discouraged.

It seemed like a bit of a hole in the wall, which I always think makes the best food, so I gave it (and our tour guide) the benefit of the doubt, and I realized quickly that it had steady traffic and a constant line, which is always a good sign. I got the smoked ham and fresh cheese on a fresh baguette - the smoked ham was like a prosciutto and the fresh cheese like a ricotta, with lettuce, tomato, olive oil, and dried oregano. Very fresh, simple, bread was nice and crusty, and the olive oil and oregano were a nice touch. Seemed more of an Italian-inspired lunch to me, but I'm not complaining! Good value, too, at about only 4 euros per sandwich. No outdoor seating and limited seating inside, but there's a washroom and the tap is outside of it, so you can actually even fill up your water bottle here as well. On the left side, when you first walk in, there's also a little section for gelato - not sure if this is part of Puro Sabor or another side shop within, but either way, you can get a sandwich and dessert in the same spot.

I've been here twice now- each time for sweets and sandwiches. Always perfect. Try to pay in exact change- it gets really crowded here and it slows them down if you give them a big bill. It was just what I needed. I selected a scoop of the Banana Chocolate gelato and thought it was delicious. The banana gelato didn't taste artificial and there was a good amount of rich, creamy chocolate chunks. Prices are reasonable and there is a large selection of gelato flavors. The cashier was attentive, although a little pushy and impatient. We had walked in a few minutes before close and she made it very clear that we would need to leave right after ordering. She was also pretty impatient with us as we placed our order. All in all, I was happy with the gelato and my only regret was not ordering a larger size!

Despite the crowd, the service moved surprisingly fast and the whole experience felt well organized. You pay based on cone size rather than by the scoop, which means you can load up on flavors without the guilt of counting portions. I went with pistachio, mango and blueberry cheesecake, and the combination worked beautifully. What really sets Amorino apart is the presentation, the staff shape the gelato into a stunning flower design that almost feels too pretty to eat. I also grabbed a Nutella crepe which was every bit as good as it sounds. Beyond the gelato there are plenty of options to explore including their famous macarons, so it is worth taking a moment to browse before you order. If you are walking through the Baixa area, this is an easy and very rewarding detour.

The total was about $6.40 which is way cheaper than it is in the states. It was just as delicious and very much worth it. It's easy to find in you're in the Baixa area of Lisboa.
