My son has received DME through Nu Motion for 15+ years. We started using them when Wheelchair…read moreWorks transitioned to Nu Motion. We loved the service and expertise that the technician, Rick Kruse and Jason Bolger provided. We were able to get many of our equipment needs for my son addressed by Nu Motion. They were on top of repairs and service, and I went as far as referring additional customers to them that I worked with professionally during my years as a case manager. Everything changed roughly 5 years ago when Nu Motion outsourced all their customer service to an out of state call center. It took almost a year to get my son's new wheelchair because their representatives failed to follow up on the insurance documentation that was requested many times. Repairs have taken 4-6 months also because of the lack of follow-through on Nu Motion's part with the insurance to get the documentation needed. Recently, Kaiser Permanente has decided to no longer contract with Nu Motion. However, I pay extra premiums and have Kaiser Added Choice which enables us to go outside of Kaiser including out of network providers and vendors. I have explained this to Nu Motion and all they hear is Kaiser Permanente and will not listen to the process and what Kaiser Added Choice is and how it works. I am not able to talk to anyone in Oregon, the calls are routed back east so you are speaking to a representative that has a script and knows nothing about the process. Any questions they are not able to answer during the call, they state they will have someone call you back. I have called them 7 times in the last 3 weeks and have yet to receive a call back from someone that is willing to assist us. My son has both private insurance and Oregon Health Plan. I choose to pay for private insurance hoping that it will provide my son with more and better options. This has not helped when it comes to Nu Motion. My son is medically fragile and currently we are unable to tilt his wheelchair and both brakes on his chair are not functioning. He has a significant aspiration and choking risk and without the tilt mechanism working this risk increases. It is a shame when a company gets so big and expands that it becomes so far removed from the individuals it states to serve and loses touch with them. Now that they are a larger company, it appears that you are only getting lies and deception. The trust is gone. We, the customers that serve.

So, taxpayer, if a Medicare user can't afford $650 for batteries, you get to fund a new $35,000 electric wheelchair for the customer who already bought one from a family whose loved one had died, just to get batteries that work. WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN! Wouldn't you rather be funding health care or housing for the houseless elderly, instead of these corrupt durable medical equipment companies? They claim this is for liability reasons but they always check to see that the wheelchair is in working order when they replace batteries in chair they have sold. They know how to verify that a wheelchair is safe.

Ryno Mobility completed their modifications to the truck around the end of March 2022. Ryno Mobility was responsible for majority of the conversion process, while Oregon Mobility was the one responsible for installing any of the bolt on parts and handling the project. Oregon Mobility submitted a bid to Vocational Rehabilitation saying that they would handle the project for $45,000.00 and VR chose them to do so. My 2022 Dodge Ram showed up to Oregon Mobility on April 12th, 2022 where James said he would keep me in the loop on the project details, fitment, and estimated completion date. Meanwhile VR was paying over $2,000.00+ a month to rent a 2005 Dodge Minivan from them as time went on and I never heard from James, myself or a family member would stop by on occasion to see how the progress was going. Every time myself or a family member stopped by it was sitting out in their gravel parking lot, monthes and monthes went by... it didn't make sense the portion of the project that Oregon Mobility was doing was just the Bolt on parts which is a much smaller percentage of the work than Ryno Mobility needed to do, yet Ryno Mobility had it for 2 monthes and Oregon Mobility is now on month 5 of having it...? I paid $80,000.00 for this truck and VR has kindly offered to pay $45,000 towards the vehicle modifications, all said and done this is a $125,000.00 vehicle that has been sitting in their gravel lot for 5 monthes. We have showed up and James was out showing it to other customers, James has told me it was ready on multiple occasions where I have taken time off of work, driven up to his Tigard location just to get there and something not be functioning properly. I have now came to pick up the truck on 6 occasions where I have been told it was ready to take home and had to bring it back. I have driven it a total of two times, and I have gotten stuck inside of it once and locked out of it twice, once missing a doctors appointment, and the next time on a 100 degree day outside on a job site in Vancouver and hour and half away from home. With this project taking as long as it has Vocational Rehabilitation told James that they would no longer pay anymore on the rental van because this project should have been completed monthes ago and that Oregon Mobility would have to eat the cost until my truck was finished. The first day I took the truck home and left the van with them, i was locked out of it and missed my doctor appointment. I brought it right back to them and they never offered that I take the van so that I had a form of transportation to work while they continue working on the truck. Sadly, I had to ask if I could borrow the rental van in the meantime to get to and from work since my truck was not close to complete or reliable 5 monthes after Oregon Mobility has had it. What do you think James answer was when I asked if I could borrow the van to get to and from work while they were looking into the issues with the truck? You nailed it! He said "no, unfortunately the van is no longer available" James has taken no responsibility for any of the problems that the truck is having, he immediately points the finger at someone else, usually Ryno Mobility is his scapegoat... probably because they are in Florida and can't defend themselves but nothing is ever James or Oregon Mobilities fault. They decide to cut a whole in the side of the factory leather seats and mount an arms rest without fitting me for it or asking me first. It was mounted for Greg Oden I think because it was literally at my chin, so another whole was made in the factory leather seat. Please keep in mind this is still the $125,000.00 truck that my self and VR are paying for, not the 2005 Dodge Caravan with a ramp that works about 50% of the time that they are charging $2000.00+ a month for. Needless to say my experience with James Kimsey and Oregon Mobility have been nothing shy of Awful. I feel bad because they do have a technician that is very caring named Denny, that wants to do great things for wheelchair users and his customers, he works really hard, he stays late, he genuinely cares, but sadly James and the company that he works for continues to Taint the hard work and effort that he puts in. Meanwhile James has completely dumped me into Dennys lap and put this all on him, while James is bitching to Vocational Rehab to get paid. I can't believe James is adamant about asking for $45,000.00 when I have driven the truck twice, been locked in and out of the vehicle 3 separate times, missed a doctors appointment and been stuck on a job site in Vancouver an hour and a half away from my home. His focus is completely in the wrong place and the fact that he thinks he has delivered a $45,000.00 product is absolutely mind blowing.

I had been dealing with the Salem, Oregon branch of Norco for CPAP supplies and questions about mobility devices. They had always performed well, or at least earned a 'C' average, but the past several years I had noticed an erosion of the ability of the company to meet the needs of its clients. On February 20th, 2026, I placed an order for CPAP supplies from Norco Salem. After a couple weeks, I called to check on the status. The order had not processed. They had noticed I needed an updated prescription from my doctor. It seems the previous doctor approval had expired. Did anyone call me? Nope There were subsequent failures, including sending the request to the wrong doctor! I called Norco many times. The only time they called me was to tell me they had finally received the correct prescription from the correct doctor. But my sleep doctor had sent me an email with a copy of the prescription on the 20th of April. It took Norco a full week to acknowledge and record it. After two months and eleven days, and after placing an order earlier this week, I called this morning, May first, to make sure the order had shipped and was on its way. They lost the order. Placed it again. So on Friday, May 1st, 2026, I am still at least ten days away from receiving an order I placed on February 20th. I have to admit.....I have no hope and no faith in Norco's ability to deliver. They could have put the parts on their van and driven it to me, a distance of less than one mile! Don't take my word for it. There are plenty of sad reviews from disappointed customers. They share similar experiences. If you're looking for home medical supplies, mobility devices, CPAP support and the like, you have plenty of choices. I encourage you to do your homework! This is important stuff! You should deal with someone who does a great job and cares about you. NORCO AIN'T IT!
