I called to explain why and was told that the truck had to come down the street to pick up my garbage. The truck comes down this street every week, because there about 5 blocks of this street. Not sure why I'm paying for a service I didn't get. I guess I should have called and told them, I was going to forget to put the cans out because i was going to have a family emergency. Every time I tried to discuss the fact that their truck backs down the street for 5-6 house lengths at 6:30am she kept turning the conversation to she can't do anything about the time they pickup, and Residential pickup time can start as early as 4am. I told her I am not dense, I know you can't control the pickup time, the problem is the driver being lazy and backing all the way down the street beeping all the way at 6:30am. I told her if Home Depot can driveway down the street and turn their huge delivery truck around, so can their driver. There is no need to be blaring that back up alarm for the length of 5-6 houses at that early hour. I asked to speak to the owner of the business and her response was, since I was NOT a customer, she wouldn't let me speak to the owner. Wtf?

My trash is still full. They are known for their terrible customer service. Unfortunately, they are the only Trash service in the area, if there were anyone else I would leave them in a heartbeat. When my sister, Kara (Sanders) Taylor was murdered and dumped out on their property (Late July 2023) ... They were the "FIRST" to offer their services including labor & equipment in order to bring Kara Taylor home to her families. After days of searching, these two men were able to locate my Sister, Kara. Without them, we would never have had closure and Kara would never have been laid to Rest. Wednesday came and went so on Thursday I called Republic again. The lady said there didn't seem to be any reason why they hadn't come on Monday or Wednesday but would schedule a pickup for Friday. Well, it's Friday and no Republic. Our can is full which means that we will not be able to remove any of our removing plants that would normally go out this coming Monday. Service leaves a lot to be desired and customer service obviously has fibbed to me just to get me off the phone! Not a happy camper! Friday 1530 - the truck came and picked up the debris. This place is a disaster…read more The outside of the center often has bikes/dogs scattered near the front door and parking lot. There's a LOT of loitering. Inside, it's absolutely filthy - the floors are sticky and wet, etc. There's random trash all over the floors. Bring your worst shoes that you don't mind getting ruined. The only upside is that if you're fortunate to get an attendant to help you, they'll count the cans/bottles that the machines won't take.

I tell her all my containers are too damaged for the machines and I need a hand count. Floor attendant says that's not her job and tells me to leave The way she treated me is unacceptable.

My dad pointed out what was going and what to stay, stepped back, and that was it. He's already got more to go and will definitely be using them again.
