I remember spending hours there, in all kinds of weather. These days, as I clean out his old buildings and sculpture part graveyards, I find myself back at Burcham's returning some of that very same metal. What comes around goes around. Angie in the yard is really fun to work with and, and Mitch and the other guys always have a smile on their face. Very Fair, Professional, Clean yard with a great group of folks helping you out. It was my fault that I didn't remember to put my cans out for pick-up...a serious family situation…read morecaused me to have my mind elsewhere then putting the cans, but I now know they could care less, because it was not their problem. I called to explain why and was told that the truck had to come down the street to pick up my garbage. The truck comes down this street every week, because there about 5 blocks of this street. Not sure why I'm paying for a service I didn't get. I guess I should have called and told them, I was going to forget to put the cans out because i was going to have a family emergency. What a rip-off!! Too bad it's the only game in town!

Every time I tried to discuss the fact that their truck backs down the street for 5-6 house lengths at 6:30am she kept turning the conversation to she can't do anything about the time they pickup, and Residential pickup time can start as early as 4am. I told her I am not dense, I know you can't control the pickup time, the problem is the driver being lazy and backing all the way down the street beeping all the way at 6:30am. I told her if Home Depot can driveway down the street and turn their huge delivery truck around, so can their driver. There is no need to be blaring that back up alarm for the length of 5-6 houses at that early hour. I asked to speak to the owner of the business and her response was, since I was NOT a customer, she wouldn't let me speak to the owner. Wtf?

We were on a tight deadline, only in town for a few days. They were very respectful and sensitive to my parent, who was struggling with the emotions of losing and giving up a lot in this move... They handled everything, and in the midst of it all, even found and saved a personal family photo that was stuck in the pages of a book. In the end, my parent didn't remember the cost and became angry and rude. Tim was calm, patient, and handled the situation like a real pro. Thank you again Tim.

Wednesday came and went so on Thursday I called Republic again. The lady said there didn't seem to be any reason why they hadn't come on Monday or Wednesday but would schedule a pickup for Friday. Well, it's Friday and no Republic. Our can is full which means that we will not be able to remove any of our removing plants that would normally go out this coming Monday. Service leaves a lot to be desired and customer service obviously has fibbed to me just to get me off the phone! Not a happy camper! Friday 1530 - the truck came and picked up the debris. I found Junkluggers on Yelp and they were absolutely FABULOUS to work with! I was able to set up an appointment online, and they quickly followed up with an email to confirm. I also spoke to them on the phone to triple confirm that this job could be done remotely and that we could handle payment over the phone. They were more than happy to accommodate. When the appointment day/time arrived, Dakota from Junkluggers called to let me know they were on their way to the storage unit, then called me from the unit to let me know they'd been able to access it and to give me a quote based on its contents. He then called me back about 15-20 minutes later to let me know the job was done, and took my payment over the phone. Within a few minutes, their receipt was in my email and the job was done! I cannot stress how difficult it was to find someone willing to do this job, and how happy I was to finally connect with a reliable, dependable, professional company like Junkluggers after having talked to so many companies who were the exact opposite. Thank you, Junkluggers. What may have seemed a relatively simple job for you provided me with a huge level of relief and took one long-lingering task off of my to-do list!
