SImilar experience -- I brought a cotton and linen quilt I had made , which was to be in a…read morecommunity quilt show to Campbells in June 2026 . I said "I have brought this for dry cleaning because if I wash it the linen will shrink more than the cotton , and it will no longer be flat ". They washed it - the whole thing shrank , and the linen pulled out entirely . The modern , graphic look was destroyed , even if the linen had survived . Clearly it didnt go to the show , but whatever . After a few weeks they said they could refund the cost of "cleaning" $13 . The quilting alone would be $80-$100 in todays world , and that doesn't count the materials or my labor . Tammy told me it was poorly done - I beg to differ as does the woman who chose it for the show . Although I am not a professional I do think I am competent enough to know that mixed fabric types need special care . If they had dry cleaned it as I asked , and the linen fell apart , too bad , so sad , I would say should never have cleaned it , but treated it as an "art quilt" . Its not just that we disagreed on what was fair compenastion - things happen , its the insults . Tammy kept saying not only was she going to do nothing but that I was bad at my hobby (86 quilts in , by my count ) and that she had no time to talk to me . Prbably best not to talk while I was struggling to figure out what to do -- why did she need to add insult to injury .?

Very disappointed in Campbells Cleaners. Took winter bed comforter,…read more100% silk fiberfill in to be dry cleaned summer of 2020. Upon picking it up simply put in closet for winter use. Just opened the bag November 2020 to find the queen size comforter shrunk to 1/3 the original size. The silk fiberfill inside was nothing but lumps and clumps. I returned to Campbells today and they absolutely refused to offer any compensation or even admit the slightest responsibility. Tammy said it was my responsibility for not checking it when we picked it up. She said , " I do all the dry cleaning and I would have never sent this out in this condition". She further asserted that we or someone else must have done something to the comforter after picking it up. There was no compromise or negotiation whatsoever. As a side note the tag said what the fill was and to dry clean. My guess is it went into some kind of machine that shrunk the comforter and ruined the silk fiberfill. I won't go back to Campbells and would advise caution if you have nice things you want dry cleaned.

What an incredible dry cleaners do not go anywhere else! I…read moredrive here from the coast and I absolutely love it. They had the best prices and they are the sweetest kindest people I've ever met. I hope they'll be here a long time and if they aren't, I hope their kids or family members will take over because this place is a jewel to find. I love the vintage feel it's old-fashioned, which is really cool. An old parking lot with big shady trees and inside beautiful kind people who will dry clean your clothes perfect. I've never seen my clothes so clean. I can't even believe it because the place I went to before was famous for cleaning clothes in an environmental way And then they closed down. I've gone through two dry cleaners that have closed down. Dry cleaners are extremely important and hard to find. Again, I drive from the coast I hope they're here 10 to 15 years because I'll keep coming back and bringing all my beautiful vintage clothing and coats which they clean so perfectly. They even found my bracelets and put them in a small pouch which I was so happy to find because some people would've stole them so they are very honest And they pack your clothes so carefully. The only thing I wish they didn't do is use as much paper on the hangers, but what can I do? I took all the paper off and recycled it and I'm keeping all the hangers and recycling and returning those as well to another dry cleaner nearby since it's kind of far for me. I don't regret the drive. I really love this place and I will be a good customer here for years and years to come.

The positives: clean and well kept, quarters available in the coin exchange, snack dispenser, many washers/dryers available, not crowded. The negatives - my credit card was charged twice and the charges were immediately authorized. My partner used his credit card in a different machine and he was charged $0.50 more than the listed price without adding any "extras" (e.g. no extra rinse, no heavy duty, etc.) and the machine still wouldn't work until I added a physical quarter into the machine. We ended up spending twice as much to wash our laundry here than we should have. Please fix your machines - I'm glad we could afford it, but some people can't afford to pay this much.
