The negatives - my credit card was charged twice and the charges were immediately authorized. My partner used his credit card in a different machine and he was charged $0.50 more than the listed price without adding any "extras" (e.g. no extra rinse, no heavy duty, etc.) and the machine still wouldn't work until I added a physical quarter into the machine. We ended up spending twice as much to wash our laundry here than we should have. Please fix your machines - I'm glad we could afford it, but some people can't afford to pay this much.

MapQuest hasn't removed the closed one so, sadly, it reflects poorly on 101 Laundry. MapQuest also doesn't identify this laundry. When we were there we noticed new, clean machines and surfaces, reading material, and believe it or not, a handicapped accessible patio with nice out of door furniture. I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. Please do not go here find somewhere else there are other dry cleaners in McMinville and in Salem I drive in order not to be completely ripped off. I can still save money even with the gas. No wonder people can't pay rent, buy food or gas because the people like this.

The wonderful people that I knew at the old place I went to around the corner are now closed. However, I do remember this man from many years ago. He fixed a zipper on a blouse for me that was very reasonable, but I ended up going to the place around the corner because I just happen to go there. However, I'm so grateful he is still here.
