Eating outside in the igloo with our maple smoked martini
Nadine W.

A fun night in the igloos. Great cocktails and apps. Particularly amazing was the fried cheese balls with a sweet chili dipping sauce. Their burger was really good too. Vito our waiter took excellent care and made sure we had a great time.

Boom Boom Shrimp and the best Shrimp Cocktail I've ever had

This is a new establishment on North Street in Endicott and it is simply fabulous. It's a very cozy tavern with a beautiful decor, well stocked bar and exceptional appetizers and pub fare. The starters menu selection is great. I had one of the best shrimp cocktails ever, my wife had the Boom Boom shrimp which I also sampled and it was delicious. They also had calamari on the menu which is a dish I always use to gauge a restaurant. I'll get that next time but if it's half as good as what we tasted, it will be a home run. I had the EJ Burger (paying homage to Endicott Johnson, the shoe company that established the town). It's a smash burger with bacon, cheese, jalapenos, and other goodness and a perfect bun--the kind that stays together and not over bearing. They make a super Old Fashioned and have a good beer and wine selection. Dillon and Kelly behind the bar were super friendly and efficient. Apparently Kelly is one of the owners but it's clear she pays great attention to the establishment she's created. We really enjoyed the music in the background (Sinatra kind of a vibe) and just a really cool environment with photos and art work from the local area. It is really well done. Price is moderate and about what I expected, certainly not a budget destination but they pretend to be either. We really loved North Street Tavern and will be back; often!

Cozy fireplace for perfect ambiance.

We had the most fantastic igloo date night. It was magical! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The ambiance in the igloo was so romantic and they thought of every little detail from the decor to blankets in case we were a little chilly. The only thing I might recommend is somehow adding music, even a Bluetooth speaker but it didn't take away from our experience. Vito was our server and he was on point. He never rushed us and, in fact, his timing was always perfect. The shrimp cocktail was some of the best I've ever had! Get it! Along with the pierogis, which were also super tasty. Our entrees were delicious as well and, after looking over the menu, I can't wait to go back and try more things. We ended the night sitting at the bar listening to some lovely live music. The drinks and service we received there were also perfection. Well done North Street Tavern. This place is a hidden gem in an unlikely place. It's worth discovering.

North Street Tavern's "Killer Chocolate Cake"!!! WOW

A wonderful place that exceeds expectations for drinks, food, and staff. An eclectic place to wind down and relax. You have to check it out.

Wedge salad

Awful! Burned, raw or rotten, your choice. $15 wedge salad with rotten lettuce and most ingredients missing. One burned, one raw pretzel, a rubbery quesadilla and burned fries were in the menu.

The burgers were delicious, even the option for a gluten free bun. A large drink selection. Prices very reasonable.

The food was authentic, unique, and combined in palette awakening plates. Our meal featured: House made Palermo wine: full flavored, semi-dry made without additives Homemade Hummus & Vinaigrette Beets: Garnished with fresh, vibrant pesto. Ancient Grain Bread Board: In-house breads paired with EVOO seasoned with fresh herbs. Korean Beef Stew: Deeply savory, featuring tender, authentically seasoned beef over mashed potatoes (or ancient bread cubes), garnished with homemade kimchi. Dessert: Pistachio, almond or vanilla panna cotta (sells out fast). The sheer amount of care, prep, and scratch-cooking that goes into this menu makes it a standout restaurant in Northeast PA. Enjoy the artsy decor, hospitality and uniquely combined scratch prepared foods...overall a great dining experience.

Menu changes often, but the house made bread was amazing with cheese, smoked salmon crostini, roasted carrots with pecans, garlic shrimp over coconut rice, sausage and meatball, chicken francese, and a cornbread dessert! Recommend it all! For those who don't like wine try the cranberry sparkling wine! Thanks for the best dinner in a really long time!

Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.

We also had the Mexican Street Corn dip and then couldn't leave without trying the GIANT pretzel (could probably feed four!!) Our hosts and wait staff were as nice as could be. It was a truly lovely way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon! Can't wait to go back.
