Do you know how badass of a printer you have to be to be sandwiched between the ocean and a pizza shop in Cali? Let's start a slow clap for this place, I tip my digital hat to the staff. A huge part of my life is dealing with graphics design and getting those things to market. I have dealt with all kinds of printers I have created things with cuts and folds on limited run papers. This place is seriously legit. Printers know papers and have realistic printing times. They will print the file get you to sign off and then print the amount requested. If you want boss level the printer will more then likely not have that limited ream of paper on hand but they can get it, and most Importantly know how to handle it when they get it. I would put my full trust in this place to get the job done with the right paper and ink. This is a lost art but if your Vocab is larger then white cardstock, then you will know how important a press is. It was so good to see this art so close to the beach and a pizza place. read more

I can't thank north shore printers for all their help. I was in a huge bind since the person that committed to helping me with my wedding invitations backed out last minute. I was in a massive time crunch and came across this place. This is a one stop shop. I didn't know they will help in formatting invites/ designing envelopes and printing them all! Mai was the one who assisted me in the whole process and she is a gem. Highly responsive and very talented. She gave me her input and helped put together an amazing wedding suite for my guests. Our guests have raved about our invites and the quality of envelopes and card stock made them look like I paid 10 times more than what I really did. I had my wedding invitations printed at North Shores and I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out and the service I received along the way. I had purchased my own paper stock and had very specific directions on what I wanted printed and the different sizes I needed the paper trimmed - and due to the type of invitation I was creating, it needed to be exact. The printing was flawless and the papers were trimmed perfectly, and although I called to check up on my job many times, I was assured that I was not their most needy client! The staff was great and very knowledgable about all aspects of the printing process. North Shores Printery does an EXCELLENT job with the work they do, and I am so glad I found them. I was actually in a bind because I needed a 30 x 40 poster before my presentation and they gave me quality work with a reasonable price, at a 2-3 day turnaround time. Alysha (sorry if I misspelled your name!) was very helpful in answering all my tedious questions and concerns. As far as spatial location is concerned, the shop is deep in the heart of Ingraham St, tucked away in a tiny plaza. There's ample parking for their customers but I do recommend you park in reverse to avoid running into a bush or two, and it's easy access to get back onto the main road. read more

North Shores Printery has been amazing, and Carolina was so patient with me as I made last minute requests and changes. I've worked with them on the same booklet project for the last couple of years and they were so helpful in adding in a picture I sent them at the last minute last year and making similar additions and other late changes this year. They still got my booklet to me on time, to meet my short deadline - and I didn't give them much time to start with! They were great to work with and I can't recommend them highly enough. I promise next year to give them more time, though, so I'm not always asking for a rush job and hoping they can work with me in time to meet my deadline. Of course, they were too polite to suggest that if I gave them more time it would be easier for all of us. And the price was great - better than other quotes I got. NSP has been printing business cards, stationary and other various items since 2005. I have had only the best customer service and great experiences with them! Their team is amazing and helpful. Even when I'm in a rush and have 5 million edits they are professional and sweet. I highly recommend working with Mai as she will do everything in her power to make sure you have what you need and when you need it. I've literally contacted her for business cards on Wednesday (no template set up yet) hoping to pick them up by Friday by noon. Not only did she come through, she did it with a smile! UPDATE: I received a comment from the company on my review - so let me break it down paragraph by paragraph. #1: "North Shores Printery has served the community under the same ownership for 33+ years and employs a competent and seasoned staff whose total industry experience exceeds 125 years. We have maintained a consistent Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating of A+, and are members in good standing of Printing Industries of America (PIA), an organization which represents printing and allied businesses across the nation" RESPONSE: Awesome - but on THAT day - your company and your staff were pretty much worthless. No common sense, no business sense, nothing. Absolutely useless to anyone out there that knows how it goes. #2: "I would direct the author of this scathing review to refer to the PIA's "Best Business Practice Guidelines for Terms and Conditions of Sale," where it states very clearly that digital files provided by the customer must be "usable by the supplier (printer) without alteration or repair." Further . . . "Items not meeting this requirement will be identified by the supplier and may be repaired by the customer, or by the supplier at the supplier's current rates." This is exactly what was explained to the reviewer upon his visit to North Shores Printery." RESPONSE: This was NEVER explained to me at the counter - which makes you a blatant liar trying to save face... #3: "We'd be happy to provide a copy of PIA's publication "Best Business Practice Guidelines for Terms and Conditions of Sale." We have one waiting at our front counter. Criticism can be helpful and constructive, but this diatribe is neither!" WHAT A LIFE SAVER!!!!! Thank you Carolina and Mai at North Shores Printery!!! These ladies went above and beyond to help me get out of a bind! I ordered my wedding invitations off of Etsy and to no surprise there were some hiccups that occurred. Not only where they 2 weeks late in the mail, but they never printed the address on the return labels. Not knowing what to do I went to staples and found out they did not print on small envelopes, then I was recommended to use North Shores Printery from another paper shop. These Ladies worked with me quickly, they matched the font, and were able to print the address on over 100 RSVP envelopes so the final product didn't look half done! They also did it all in one day so I was able to get the invitations out that next day! I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend using them! We have used this printery several times for a variety of projects -- most of which had tight timeframes. They have always been extremely professional, courteous, helpful, reasonable and fast. They are great members of the community -- donating thousands of dollars of printing to various nonprofit groups like schools and churches.
