Three other employees never looked up from there computers to even say hello, can I help you? we went from the front of the store to the back trying on about a dozen glasses and not one of the three employees even looked up from there computers and asked if they could help us. we walked from the back to the front of the store looking at gl hoping someone would look up and acknowledge us but nothing I wouldn't recommend the Danvers location at all. i had a great experience with dr. sehgal, she is very personable and helpful. i'm more likely to…read moreget annual checkups with her due to her care. i did get the optomap retinal imaging which was super cool, and dr. sehgal went over it with me to explain everything. the process was quick, probably less than 60 seconds for both eyes, and i definitely think it's worth it to be able to access this type of technology for $39. like others, i did not expect a contact lens fitting cost, which was $80. i have been fitted for contacts in the past and have not been charged. dr. sehgal did take the time for a long fitting since it has been awhile since i've gotten my eyes checked (6 years) and my rx changed a bit, so i do appreciate her kindness and patience, i just think it should be known at the beginning of the visit. overall i had a great visit with dr. sehgal, she referred me to a lasik specialist who called 24 hours later. i really enjoyed our visit and think she's a great optometrist. amanda & other staff were very helpful and i was able to get a much needed adjustment for my current glasses in no time. i didn't find they had a good selection of frames, though. better than expected experience for an eye check-up.

First off, on Shelles The Eye Place website, I really liked what she had to say about herself, her background, and how she runs her business. As a person that has spent many years in sales, I believe in transparency and not being pushy with the customer. Shellee has those same values. Transparently speaking I just went in there to see if she had any ideas on how I could maybe fix them. She's quite lovely in person. She knows what she's talking about and treats you like your family. I felt like I had known her for years, the way that we talked. When I finally pulled out my glasses to show her what had happened, she didn't even miss a beat. She found a similar frame and popped out the lenses on my broken pair of glasses and put them in the new frames. The new frames are at a great price point. She made little adjustments on the glasses to ensure they fit my face properly. The transaction was smooth and seamless. I love my new glasses. Shellee has a wonderful selection of glasses to fit any face and designs to fit anyone's unique style. You can tell by the way Shellee interacts with you that she loves what she does and she ensures that her customers leave with a smile on their face and the perfect eyeglass frames. Fast forward to two weeks ago. Over the course of time, I had managed to scratch the lenses and lastly I had broken one of the arms which had detached from the lens. i stopped by the shop and told my tale of woe to Ethel who assured me that they could order the broken part and that my lenses had a 2-year guarantee so she would also order new lenses to replace the scratched ones. But that's not the best part of my experience. Due to my work schedule it's difficult to get to their place of business during regular hours. So their technician, Garrett, offered to stay after closing to align and grind the new lenses and fix the broken arm. He spent the better part of 90-minutes after closing to insure that the grinding, polishing and aligning of the frame and glasses were a perfect fit for me. That's extraordinary customer service and deserves to be lauded. Let me not forget to mention Jonathan Parrelli who entertained me with conversation while I waited. This is truly one great place to shop for eyeware.
