He was very abrupt, was unable to provide a new prescription for glasses. He couldn't get a "reading". Could have been my eyes hadn't recovered from the eye drop dilation- go figure. I checked in with the front desk staff (some polite- some snappy) at approximately 2:40pm for a 3:10pm new patient appointment. I did not leave the building until approximately 4:45pm... Even though I made my appointment approximately 2-3 weeks prior with Dr. Stoler, I was being basically completely examined by some sort of medical assistant (she was pleasant but didn't even state her title to me- I had no clue what her credentials were in order to pour thick yellow liquid in my eyes). When Dr. Stoler finally did come into the room, he shined some lights in my eyes and said nothing was wrong. I then asked for a prescription for eyeglasses he said "No, not at this appointment because you were an emergency add on...Oh wait... Let me check before I speak to fast (he looked over some notes).... Ok, I can give you a prescription".... I almost LOST it!!! NOT ONLY did I wait in that office for 2 hours to literally see this dude for 7-10 minutes, he then wants to deny me a prescription for eyeglasses because he thinks I'm an emergency add on.. And of course this is due to him examining me so late in the day- BECAUSE I WAS FORGOT ABOUT!!!!! WOW- Do not go here!!! I got a few smiles from the staff here and there- But overall they are unfriendly, don't know what they are doing and the wait time is to long for doctors of... well .....Dr. Stoler's caliber.... IF YOU NEED AN EYE SPECIALIST GO TO A DIFFERENT DR. THAT CAN HANDLE THEIR PATIENT LOAD AND ONE THAT IS AT LEAST ORIENTED TO THE TIME/DAY/PRESIDENT....

One of the test was not done but they sent records and it was included. as done is You should see doctor first before any testing done! I trusted Dr. Lobo to repair my broken heel after she assured me I would regain about 90% of my…read morefoot function and return to a normal life. The reality was devastating. After surgery, my foot was left crooked and I developed a large open wound that was never explained to me. She put a cast over it without telling me anything. When I returned to have the cast changed and finally saw the wound, I almost fainted. No one had warned me about it, and at one point it was close to becoming necrotic. I had to stay in bed for two months because of severe swelling and fluid. Instead of receiving support, I was treated as if I was being dramatic while I was clearly in extreme pain and dealing with serious complications. I later learned that a screw had been placed directly through the middle of my joint, and I ultimately needed another surgery to try to correct the damage. To this day I am still suffering the consequences. I have difficulty walking and constant pain that now affects my legs and back. This surgery took away the active life I once had. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Dr. Lobo at all.

Really made me wonder what else in my chart might be wrong. 2) They're very "that's your problem" about insurance. I have a VERY popular/common plan and they scheduled my routine exams such that the second one didn't get covered because it was too soon. $400. and their response was "well you're responsible for your plan and coverage details blah blah blah". like sure I know I'm LEGALLY responsible, but in REALITY that's negligence on their part. they either don't know the details on one of the most common plans they work with all day everyday, or they just don't care. Either way - not cool. Like my dentist is so careful and deliberate about aligning stuff with my specific insurance plan so I don't have to pay out of pocket.
