He is a highly skilled professional, very knowledgeable on the latest surgical procedures, and always takes time to answer questions, find solutions, and go above and beyond to ensure his patients get the best care. I recently had cataract surgery and had lots of questions prior to surgery about the procedure, expected results, and the potential for any problems. Dr. Rodman took a lot of time to answer my questions and ensure I was comfortable with the answers. I have always received excellent care from him and he's always found solutions for me. I have to say that for me cataract surgery was life changing. After cataract surgery, I am in awe of the improvement in my vision. I no longer need glasses except for "cheaters" for reading. I am very happy with the results and thankful to Dr. Rodman and the Microsurgical staff for their attentiveness and care given to me as a patient. All of the Microsurgical Eye staff is very professional, always greets patients, answer questions and gives their full attention to patients. It is a large practice, but always well organized and efficient. There is a lot of teamwork among the staff to ensure the patient experience is a positive one. I would highly recommend Dr. Rodman and the Microsurgical staff with confidence in their abilities. You won't find a better team of eye care professionals! They truly care about their patients!

I would NEVER go to this DR. (NO LET ME SAY- GUY) again!!!…read more My appointment was with Dr. Dennis Stoler. I feel I was forgot about in an exam room... I checked in with the front desk staff (some polite- some snappy) at approximately 2:40pm for a 3:10pm new patient appointment. I did not leave the building until approximately 4:45pm... Even though I made my appointment approximately 2-3 weeks prior with Dr. Stoler, I was being basically completely examined by some sort of medical assistant (she was pleasant but didn't even state her title to me- I had no clue what her credentials were in order to pour thick yellow liquid in my eyes). When Dr. Stoler finally did come into the room, he shined some lights in my eyes and said nothing was wrong. I then asked for a prescription for eyeglasses he said "No, not at this appointment because you were an emergency add on...Oh wait... Let me check before I speak to fast (he looked over some notes).... Ok, I can give you a prescription".... I almost LOST it!!! NOT ONLY did I wait in that office for 2 hours to literally see this dude for 7-10 minutes, he then wants to deny me a prescription for eyeglasses because he thinks I'm an emergency add on.. And of course this is due to him examining me so late in the day- BECAUSE I WAS FORGOT ABOUT!!!!! WOW- Do not go here!!! I got a few smiles from the staff here and there- But overall they are unfriendly, don't know what they are doing and the wait time is to long for doctors of... well .....Dr. Stoler's caliber.... IF YOU NEED AN EYE SPECIALIST GO TO A DIFFERENT DR. THAT CAN HANDLE THEIR PATIENT LOAD AND ONE THAT IS AT LEAST ORIENTED TO THE TIME/DAY/PRESIDENT....

I had a disappointing experience at this office. My appointment was scheduled around lunchtime, and…read morefrom the moment I arrived, things felt chaotic. The person checking me in kept mentioning that "everyone was at lunch," which didn't exactly inspire confidence. The whole visit felt very disorganized. I was moved through four different rooms for what should have been a routine appointment. One for check-in, another for testing, a third to answer questions, and a fourth to see the doctor. After my exam, I had to stand around waiting to check out because it seemed like a new employee was being trained. One person was trying to do their own job while training someone, while several other staff members were just standing around. My appointment was a routine contact lens and glasses exam. They didn't have trial lenses in my new prescription, which wasn't a big deal because they said they could order them and have them in a couple days. Great! But when I went back to pick up the trial lenses, the check-in process felt just as disorganized as my first visit. I eventually got the lenses, and the doctor told me to try them out and come back if they didn't work for me. Unfortunately, they weren't a good fit, so I called to ask about trying a different brand. I was told they didn't have trial lenses for the new brand again and it would take two weeks to get them. I was confused because my first set only took a couple of days to come in. On top of that, the office was closed for a full week around the July 4th holiday, so now I'm looking at almost a month just to try a second pair of contacts. My concern is, what if this second pair doesn't work either? Am I going to have to wait another two weeks? Trying different lenses is a normal part of getting the right fit, but the whole process has been much slower and more frustrating than it should be. Overall, the office just felt very disorganized, and the contact lens process has been unnecessarily drawn out. I left feeling more frustrated than anything else. Also, they might want to talk to the staff about walking around vaping in their scrubs around the parking lot it's not a professional look for a medical office.
