Upon arrival for my appointment, they informed me that they are out of network for VSP. I mentioned that the person that scheduled my appointment assured me that they take VSP, they said then said that they do. They told me to pay for the appointment then and they would give me a receipt that could be submitted to VSP and VSP might reimburse some portion of the visit. Obviously, they are out of network and don't take VSP. What a waste of time. Not fun getting jerked around either...

He wrote a prescription without talking to me about astigmatism. I can't wear my glasses without getting dizzy. When checking out, the desk staff was pretty rude. Then I got a reminder to attend my follow up? For what? They automatically scheduled me for two appointments without checking my schedule or asking me to attend. It feels very paternalistic, doesn't feel like I was involved as a participant in my care. I didn't feel comfortable there and won't go back. Why should my insurance (or a patient) pay for appointments every three months if there's no ongoing treatment?

The receptionist is unbelievably nice and was able to answered all my concerning questions. And booked an appointment next day! Dr Grimm is gentle and took all the time we needed. He did not rush at all and a plus, he also gave my kid a quick eye exam (and happy to hear that her vision is still 20/20!). Polite, friendly staff really make a huge difference! His thoroughness and communication made the appointment incredibly reassuring. Kerry Ellen was also an outstanding representative of the company. She provided fantastic customer service, offered knowledgeable and professional guidance in helping me choose the right glasses, and was consistently attentive throughout the process. On top of that, as a Type 1 diabetic, I began experiencing low blood sugar while in the store, and she thoughtfully brought me fruit snacks to help bring it back up. Well Yelp did not fail me - one of the lovely ladiesn at Heller Eyecare fixed my glasses free of charge and did it quite quickly even though there were indeed broken! Needless to say I will not hesitate to strongly consider them when I am ordering my new glasses. The selection there seemed very large and the fact that they are open till 6pm sometimes is very helpful. Thank you again to whomever helped me, life is too short to go around with taped glasses!

Dr. Mandy Kaur is a terrible doctor. She blames every single health issue on stress / tiredness. She missed multiple very obvious health issues for many years, and it was found by my next primary care doctor in the first sitting. I continue to pay for her negligence. For one of my scheduled annual check ups, she didn't even bother to turn up at the clinic, and instead sent in her husband who is also a doctor at that clinic. Who does that? I don't want a guy or a different doctor of your choice doing my physical, that's not why I have you as my doctor. I don't recommend the husband either as he is gruff and has an all knowing attitude. The only positive that could be said is that she has good bedside manners, but that is pointless if you can not diagnose health issues. I do NOT recommend Dr. Mandy Kaur.
