I was not able to get out of bed for over a week after the birth, so our first meeting was with her sitting at the foot of my bed. Thank goodness we chose her for my daughter's pediatrician because there was no way I would have been able to take her to an office. I really needed the fourth trimester care to help me process the trauma from birth, and Dr. Z let me cry and repeat the story over and over again. I'll never forget the time she hugged me and promised me something good would come out of it. She was also provided excellent care to my daughter. I will never forget our crazy first meeting and her kindness. She listened and provided me care when my own OB/GYN's office failed to do so. It is absolutely ludicrous the postpartum care we receive. This fourth trimester care model should be mandatory everywhere.

On your annual visit. Who does that these days? I've had the doctor call me back when I have been sick after hours, two or three times, just to check on how I was feeling. No one does that anymore. Also if you're going to be working from home during a pandemic and you're a doctor - get a nanny. It is unprofessional to have your kids hanging off you when we're dealing with serious medical issues. I also never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen, which is pretty impressive since I go there a lot for sick visits that they're always able to squeeze in at the last second. My pcp is Dr. Celler, and she is absolutely fantastic. She is very patient and a very attentive listener, and is great at explaining things in a way that I understand (though never in a condescending way). I know she has a very high volume of patients, but I have never felt as though I was being rushed out or ignored. I do understand some of the negative reviews, particularly with regard to Dr. Solomon (both of my parents have been seeing him for a very long time and used to be big fans of his, but have nothing but negative things to say now), but other than that I personally have never had anything but really positive experiences here.

Friendly, caring, listening to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. My annual for this year was scheduled at my last appointment last year, as I do every year. I always make sure to take the day off from work. The DAY BEFORE my appointment this year at 4pm I received a voicemail that was a brief recording saying my appointment has been canceled because the NP was out on leave. (totally understandable BUT TO WAIT UNTIL 4pm ON THE DAY BEFORE MY APPT... UNACCEPTABLE.) I was left completely hanging. I had already made arrangements to take the day off from work and have my kids picked up from school by a relative to make this appt. Whats even more disappointing and frankly bad business is that I NEVER received a call from the staff to reschedule my appointment either. I'm very disappointed as I did like the NP's but will probably not be returning to this office.
