Ann greeted me at front desk of MRI and reviewed my name address DOB address contact person area of body needing MRI and printed out my prescreening which I did the night before. Pam, one of the techs brought me back to a little room with 3 chairs including a wider one to accommodate larger body types to introduce herself and review each screening question. From there I was instructed to change into hospital scrubs leaving only underpants and socks and my shoes (my choice as they don't offered hospital socks. Across from the dressing room are lockers which have hooks and shelves. Two bathrooms are located there as well. From there you are brought into the room with MRI machine where you leave your shoes, eyeglasses and locker key with staff. You get set up on theta le with warm blanket, bolster pillow under your knees for comfort and offered an eye mask and headphones with background music. Pam and Jennifer talked me through everything going on and it was a pleasant experience. The check in said they would send a note to the lab staff of what I was wearing and my level of deafness. They come out quickly wearing masks, call names which I can't tell the names called. As I try to get their attention, they quicky turn , walk away. I do everything to help myself, I sit near the door facing them, I read lips( impossible with masks). After long wait time seeing others that came after me go in, I twice was able to finally get one's attention, and find that yes my name had been called earlier. I go again today for tests, just don't know what to do.

It's not a fun time going through the preparations was a drag, but the hospital staff all included handled the visit exceptionally well! The procedure itself was simple and painless, the anesthesia provided was quick, effective and had no lingering effects, I awoke feeling great and ready for coffee.. I would recommend this group, to make this not so fun procedure painless..

Are you kidding me ! never did get a call back ,I called the administrators office again spoke with Marcia, which clearly didn't much have any concern at all ,told me they take this kind of thing Seriously, I told her I don't think you do , then told me a would get a call from the manager , got nothing , someone is not paying attention !!!! Bottom line is it is the Administrators responsibility for everybody under them and I got no satisfaction at all , Maybe I'll get a call after somebody reads this review if I was the administrator I would be completely furious and people would be getting fired ! If they gotta mess up something as simple as a blood sample can you imagine if you needed a heart transplant I wouldn't bring my pet there never mind human ! Not happy at all , I will not be ignored , wrong guy !

(For example, if you're in an open market with lots of dead poultry for sale, you should leave. FWIW, I did not encounter that there, but there were markets with cuts of beef, pork and even eels. I kept a healthy distance from those, too, just to be on the safe side.) On top of the thoughtful travel advice, the NP also strongly encouraged me to get an MMR booster because of recent outbreaks of measles. This was well before it had hit the news, and her foresight was really helpful to me since I was going to be in crowded US airports and planes. (No fear of measles in China, since the Chinese respect science and medicine. ;) One note, be sure to check with your insurance about coverage for this place. If you're covered, it's only a co-pay; if you're not it will be expensive. (They will warn you about this.) Also, it may take several days, even weeks, for them to call to schedule your appointment, but don't panic. They are just scheduling people in order of travel date.

Today 8/3/2020 at 3PM I had an appointment with my Doctor Mauri Cohen at Lahey Primary in Danvers…read more Upon arrival approximately 2:45 I called to alert the staff I was waiting in the parking lot as is proper COVID 19 procedure. About 2:55 I realized I urgently needed the bathroom before my appointment. I called back, explained my predicament and was told "Of course you can use the bathroom." A woman unlocked the door and I walked in past her. Then unexpectedly behind me she began screaming "You can't come in." I tried to explain I had received permission over the phone to use the bathroom, but she began screaming to staff at the desk "He pushed his way in!" I turned to the desk staff and said, "Call the police if you must but I will be in the bathroom." It was at that point I had been delayed long enough by your staff I had a bowel movement in my pants. After using the bathroom and cleaning myself up as best possible. I called Dr Cohens nurse to ask if I was still allowed my appointment or if the police had in fact been summoned. The nurse was good enough to meet me at the bathroom and lead me to the exam room. I explained to her I had asked for and received permission to use the bathroom. I also explained I had not "pushed my way in." I had in fact touched no one. She told me Doctor Cohen would be in shortly and left the room. I could then hear a loud conversation in the hall. The woman that originally let me into the building first loudly claimed I had pushed her. She then changed her clearly fabricated story to "If I hadn't stepped aside, he would have pushed me." When Doctor Cohen came into the exam room, I pointed out that I had received permission to use the bathroom. I had never touched anyone. And her latest statement only showed she had in fact stepped aside to let me in. Furthermore, she could not possibly know what I would or would not have done had she not stepped aside. I complied with all COVID 19 procedures and was humiliated as a result. This is the most extreme unprofessional behavior I have ever witnessed and certainly not up to Lahey Health standards. I would appreciate an apology and immediate action to ensure other patients are not treated this way.

I experienced a problem on behalf of my daughter. As part of background I used to be a patient at the Beverly location and ended up leaving the practice in general due to the poor customer service, EXTREMELY LONG WAITS in office and lack of personal interaction with my actual doctor. So my patience fuse with Lahey in general, is VERY SHORT due to all my own bad experiences! I made my daughter and son an appointment yesterday @ 12:44pm and was told one appointment would be 10/1/2014 (today) and the other would be 11-10-14. I received a phone call from the office yesterday at 3:15pm the woman on the phone said she was calling to reschedule my daughter's missed appointment from 9-30-14! I stated there was NO WAY I made the appointment for a past time...that doesn't make any sense. I told her I just called a few hours ago I couldn't have made the appoint for said time because I called hours beyond that time to make the appointment. She insisted I made the appointment...but that she needed to speak the the woman who made the appointments to verify what happened. I asked her if the appointment time I'd been given was still available or not...and she wasn't sure and assured me that she would call me back. My phone died before getting that call back but she did leave me a message. She said she was calling to make sure we were on the same page with my daughters appointment and to call back, VAGUE MESSAGE if you ask me....nowhere stated that they rescheduled or canceled or anything. So we kept my daughter out of school and showed up today anyway. They tell my husband (who was completely unaware of any discrepancies) that I missed her appointment yesterday and they rescheduled it to tomorrow. He called me from the office confused and frustrated that he got outta bed to bring her there after he just got to bed at 4:30am (third shift). I tried to tell him what happened but he ended up just leaving. THEN I tried calling the office myself to speak to an office manager at 8:30, 8:33, and 8:35 (they open at 8:30) and their message kept saying they were closed and of course I couldn't get through to anyone. I have many more complaints with Lahey Beverly and the Beverly Hospital (Which was bought out by Lahey) but this is the first time I've reviewed Lahey....only because I am in SHOCK and utterly AMAZED there aren't a ton of bad reviews already.Maybe I will inspire others to share. This company does have good doctors but it's watered down with administration that can't keep up!
