The owner (Trevor) and his family have so much love and passion for their restaurant and the community. I love being able to contribute when you can see all the effort and excitement put into the food and service. I also cal tell he tries to really know his customers and care for them. As far as the food : really the best quality meat and flavor. I've tried a handful of their items... just had the breakfast burrito today I believe it was called the redinger special, took me back to New Mexico style ranchero breakfast flavors sooo yummy . It's BIG we shared it. Brisket and bacon inside were perfect. Got a side of salsa also. Wouldn't mind adding a second egg on top but also maybe more of the ranchero sauce .... Otherwise made us want to try more of the breakfast items. Also glad they have a kids menu and added the tacos to the menu. Everything is great.

I love coming to this restaurant, the food is delicious !!! The owners and staff are welcoming, they make you feel like family. Not to mention it's probably the BEST BBQ I have ever had. The pancakes are phenomenal better than Dennys and IHOP.

The place made me feel welcomed, as a veteran myself. Trevor, welcomed us and took our order as he informed us of each breakfast dish. All fresh and local produce. The food had lots of flavor and you could taste the home cooking. Highly recommend you stop if you are in the area, or heading to Bass Lake.

My husband and I were working up in Bass Lake and decided to pick up lunch in the area , we found this BbQ place on the way home in North Fork and decided to try it. Well let's start by saying this place has earned their stars and reviews on Yelp! We ordered the 2 meat plate because I wasn't that hungry and wanted to just share with my husband. We got the tri tip and brisket plate. OMG the brisket is out of this world!! My husband and I have never had brisket this delicious! It beats Westwoods by far!! Customer service is incredible also! Trevor the owner retired military is super nice . We loved it so much we had to take a pound of brisket home for dinner later. He also gave us a sample of their pull pork "incredible "! Definitely will be back again soon. Thank you Trevor for your hospitality and for your service

the two ladies accommodated my 8 friends very close to closing time. they gave us all separate checks and allowed us to take our time with ordering. I've got to sample all the food and everything was delicious. they were so kind and welcoming that we wanted to go back. would definitely recommend the pulled pork and tried their baked beans!!

I will start by saying this was my first time to Ducey's. In fact, I hadn't been to Bass Lake since…read morethe 1970s. It was a birthday visit. I'd heard about the place, and had always wanted to try it. I really, really enjoyed the experience. Most delightful dinner I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back. I say these things because I'm going to have a couple negatives to go along with the praise, and I want to make it clear that I highly recommend the place as a fun, enjoyable dining experience. First, I'll go over the plusses. The view of the lake is serene and enjoyable. Really makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Call it Tahoe Junior. I highly recommend the bottom level of the restaurant, which has an elevated menu with higher pricing over the top level casual dining. Better aesthetics and menu make it worth it. They also do have a bargain menu of smaller portions if you can live with smaller portions. (Not me, lol.) You can see the menu at their site. Prices are typical Nicer eatery level. ($50+.) I had the ribeye. Typical quality. Well prepared. Featured a NICE proprietary blue cheese butter spread. Umm, yummy! I want more! Also loved the peach ice tea. More yummy. I overdose everything in sweetener, so I recommend that. Staff was first rate. Darn near everything about the visit was great from start to finish. Now for my negatives... The bread was these Tiny little slices of (I suppose) Italian bread. I wasn't familiar with it. Perhaps it's a standard four-bite bread type. Certainly didn't work for me. Bite-size is not really what I want in dinner bread... Veggies were bleh. Broccolini and carrots. Did nothing for me. We now come to the big disappointment and the Offense... No baked potato, but mashed potatoes! I can't recall the last time I ordered a quality steak that came with mashed potatoes instead of a BAKED potato! "No big deal," I thought. "I'll order a baked potato." The Up Charge was $9! You heard that right. NINE DOLLARS to swap baked for mashed! I might expect $9 for a potato at Ruth's Chris, but gosh! NINE DOLLARS?! The whole table was offended. That did not ruin the meal for us. We all enjoyed it and planned to return, but we ALL thought NINE DOLLARS for a potato--and we're not talking a huge one either, though it was decent in size--was insane. Absolutely insane. Fixins did not include bacon bits, which surprised me, but not every place offers them so okay. That's it. Full dinner and drinks for 4 was a bit under $300. Enjoyed ourselves, going back, but we don't understand the outrageous price on the potato. Tagging the visit at a 4, and recommending Ducey's. Be prepared for mashed... Shown--dinner and the $9 potato :)

When we were seated we were then told that the kitchen was extremely backed up and it wouldn't be another 45+ minutes until they can even take our order. Thankfully they were able to take our drink order first so we got to enjoy the view. We were starving by the time we finally got our food, everything was fried since we decided to get their sampler platter and fried calamari. The food was pretty decent, I think I just got sick of it pretty fast because everything felt very heavy. I would probably only come back for the views next time I'm in the area, and get some drinks and light apps!

Service was decent, and the ambiance was nice, but overall the experience was just okay. The Peruvian pretzel was actually pretty darn good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, and the main reason I'm giving three stars, was the oysters. If I could rate the oysters separately, I would give them zero stars. They were probably some of the worst-tasting oysters I've ever had. They tasted extremely fishy and did not seem fresh at all. We ordered a dozen and definitely regretted ordering that many. The dipping sauce that came with them was very good, but for the price this restaurant charges, the oysters should absolutely taste fresh. I also would not recommend the mac and cheese. It looked more like something that came out of a box than freshly made restaurant mac and cheese. If you're ordering for kids, I'd probably choose the pasta with tomato sauce instead. There were some good things about the meal, especially the pretzel and the atmosphere, but between the oysters, the mac and cheese, the long wait for food, and the prices, three stars feels fair.

Such high praise from an acclaimed food critic should not be taken lightly, and The Forks Resort kept its reputation for generations, providing quality and consistency in the foods they serve. Apart from their perfect burger that features a juicy, deeply browned beef patty with a lacy, crispy crust, cradled in a warm, butter-toasted bun and layered with rich, melted cheese, this eatery also offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner served in an original "50's Diner" setting. We had our annual camping trip at one of the local campsites near Miller's Landing resort. One of our days we decided to use our 15% off coupon from our campsite to Rent a 9 persons pontoon boat. The folks working at the counter for the boat rental were friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same thing for the dude's working at the actual boat dock. They gave us weird vibes. Like, have y'all never seen Asians renting a boat? WTF are you guys glaring at? WTF is so funny? It was irritating AF! Thankfully, the time on the water was really fun! The kids had such a good time zipping around on the water and we also rented a tube that we towed off the back of the pontoon boat. Yes, it's not a speed boat, but it was fast enough for the kids to enjoy being towed around. The next day we went back to Miller's Landing to use their public showers. Five dollars for five minutes. Make it quick! The shower's were clean, water was warm, or cold if you prefer, but the line can get long. There is no complimentary shampoo, soap, or conditioner, so be sure to BYO. It was a good option for those of us who were tent camping that NEEDED a shower. Although we didn't dine in the restaurant, we did get drinks, ice cream, and milkshake's from the café, all of which were really tasty. We will definitely plan to incorporate a boat rental, showers, and meals at Miller's Landing when we plan our annual camping trip for next year!
