Hi There! Butch Higgins at your service!
Philip H.

The reason N.C. Co-op is totally worth shopping at? Answes: Selection of brands not found elsewhere. A large store with tons of healthy choices. Grass fed beef/free range chicken selection that is very impressive. Hot/Cold deli whose repertoire is genius, tasty, a delight for the eyes. Freshest produce to rival a farmer's garden! Healthy Choices, for those concerned about what goes into their bodies, or their children's! But the best factor: People, the employees who go the extra distance to fulfill your needs... with a friendly smile. Totally worth shopping at...T.W.S.A. They got Twussa! Five Stars!!!

Love the variety and colors

Amazing staff, incredible cafe, deli, bulk and sustainable sushi!! We usually come here for our produce but once in awhile you will see good deals on healthy foods. I have been able to discover so many yummy options this way ;-) such as yummy gluten-free donut holes (my partner is gluten free) so it is a win-win situation ;-) Also this store has such a variety of items such as local handmade items from earrings to seasonal items like hats, gloves and scarfs. The rare items I have seen are quail eggs, an olive bar, Vegan options and rare season fruits which produce staff are more than willing to cut an item open and have you try it. Also, if you are a regular here you really familiarize your self with the friendly faces such as the cashiers and staff. Lastly I highly appreciate that they are asking customers to round up for local organizations or business. This program is called Seeds for Change. The organization changes every month.

Ask the Community - North Coast Co-op - Eureka

How much money for a sandwich?

It would depend on what you get on it. Avocado is extra, extra cheese, meat ect. I'd say roughly 7$ for a whole sandwich with regular condiments. But a good sandwich no less.

The line wasn't too long of a wait, despite it being busy and understaffed. They had a cute location, and I really liked the dark wood throughout. They had a dedicated area for sitting, and some things like board games available for groups to enjoy while sipping their beverage of choice. I got a mocha frappé and enjoyed it. It hit the spot on a sunny Eureka day. To my surprise, I got a freebie, with the barista making more than what would fit in the cup. The excess was poured into an additional cup, and given for free. That was awesome. Speaking of the staff, they were great. Despite being a busy day and not many people working, they pushed through and i saw them handle all types of attitudes and customers with great care. I enjoyed my drink here for sure.

I came early in the morning and only had a donut and small coffee there and the price was reasonable. They have a seating area in front of their counter and a larger seating area adjacent. Lovely wall art that appears to be from local artist. I really want to give it 5 stars - the only downside was - and I have to be honest - there was a homeless man who came into the cafe and started yelling repeatedly at the clerk and other patrons. This is NOT the fault of the owners but when I'm in side of a restaurant or cafe and eating I think it's reasonable to want to feel safe. This was early in the morning and after this aggressive person left there were steadily more and more customers coming in and I felt safer/better This is a great place and I hope anyone who is visiting Eureka to stop by and enjoy this popular place

I was here a couple of days after Christmas,, and there was only one car in front of me in line. I waited and waited and waited, almost 10 minutes and nothing happening. I just left. Today, I was back in town, I was on Broadway, and so to be fair, I wanted to give them another shot. Again, there was only one car in front of me. At one point, she opened the window, and handed them a drink. It looked like she was making the drinks one at a time. At about the 10 minute mark, I honked my horn to let them know that I was waiting. The lady stuck her head out the window, looked at me, and I politely said, I've been in line almost 10 minutes. She didn't say I'm sorry, she didn't say I'll be right with you,, she just gave me a dirty look, and pulled her head back in the window. Once again, I left. Instead, I went over to jitter bean on Harris across the street from Safeway. There, I was behind three other cars, and even with three cars in front of me, I waited less than 10 minutes. At one point, one of the employees actually came out to the line, asked me what I wanted, took my reusable mug inside and then when I got to the window, my drink was ready. That's the way these places should be doing things. Sorry Gold, Rush, in this case, two strikes and you're out. . There are too many other coffee places in town that I can go to. Thanks anyway.
