Would leave ZERO stars for this place if it were possible. They sold us a "brand new" lawnmower…read morethat supposedly was covered with a year warranty. After the 3rd use, the lawn mower stopped working & we were told it was due to a dirty filter and that the carburator had issues. We were told that the reason for this was that the gasoline had sat in the lawn mower for "more than 30 days". After reading the manual, that information is completely incorrect. When we took it in to get it fixed, they said the warranty would NOT cover it and made us pay an additional $130 to get it fixed. The repairman is extremely rude and argues with his customers when he realizes he's in the wrong. DO NOT SHOP HERE. THEY SELL YOU CRAP.

He said that he called Ego in an attempt to resolve the issue and was told that, based on the serial number, the mower had a known history of stopping, and that parts had been shipped to fix the problem. Based on this information, am I correct in concluding that I was sold a used mower at a new lawn mower price, without being told? I made a formal complaint with the Attorney General's Office last month. There has been NO RESPONSE to it.

I've enjoyed shopping at this Ace Hardware of Mt. The cashier they've had for at least a few years now though, is awful. Earlier this week, I purchased a wall switch that I already knew may not fix my problem, so I asked her point blank before I checked out how long I had to return it and she told me 30 days. 3 days later, I'm back to return it because it did not fix my problem, and she called the manager up to ask him if she could refund my money for it. He looks things over and says yes, and I mentioned after that that I had asked her specifically 3 days prior about the return and she had told me "Yes, 30 days." Then she said that their 30-day return policy was only for unopened items, and that she had told me that 3 days ago when I asked. I chuckled and said "No, you absolutely did not" and she argued with me about it. I told her she was lying, and she asked me not to come back there again. I responded that she shouldn't be lying to customers about the return policy, and she got mad and said she could replay the video recording of her telling me differently, to which I replied "Good, I'll wait." She then refunded my money as directed by the manager, and I left and may never be back.

WHO ORDERS AN ONLINE PURCHASE TO BE SHIPPED FOR PICKUP? The website needs to clarify that they do NOT ship purchases like NORMAL businesses do. Zero stars, cannot recommend. Elliot's does not. Unacceptable. then when I called to ask why my order said "ready for pickup" I was treated like I was stupid or something to expect that my order was to be shipped to my house. the excuse was that they needed my home address to know which store to ship it to- ON WHAT PLANET DOES ANYONE THINK AN ORDER PLACED IN KATY TEXAS HAS PLANS TO DRIVE TO DALLAS FOR PICKUP??
