The store is so well organized with great service and selection. The updated merchandise is value priced and I always find something worth bringing home. read more

Rude rude rude. Brought in some returns today and was treated very poorly. Had all the receipts and was organized. The women were talking in another language and looking at me, assuming they were not saying anything good or nice. Meanwhile they did not even greet me or acknowledge me. This is the third time I had a bad experience and it made my skin crawl, had to get out of the store as fast as I could. Not what I expect from Nordstrom and probably won't return. read more

I came to Nordstrom Rack the other night and was Shocked by how much merchandise they had. It felt almost like too much! But, if you're searching for clothing, accessories, shoes, or even makeup, I'm sure you'll be able to find something here! For me it felt a little overwhelming to me, because it seemed a bit chaotic, but I know the staff is working really hard and it's not their fault the store is overflowing with products. Another thing that surprised me was how many products now have security tags or are even behind glass! It made me wonder if they've been experiencing theft...? Hopefully not! I often find a lot of good stuff at this location, so I'll be back again soon and hope that the amount of merch may just be a seasonal thing. read more

Stopped by Nordstrom Rack in Laguna Hills today as we had to return some merchandise and do a bit of shopping. The customer service is stellar and the store is well stocked with lots of gift ideas for the holidays. Nice selection and excellent value. During our last visit my wife picked up two lovely pairs of boots. Great value, terrific staff and amazing inventory. Highly recommended read more

Wow, I am so surprised to see how many negative reviews here for this Nordstrom Rack location. I have been shopping here for several years now and also pick up my online orders when I don't want to drive to the mall. It has always been an okay location. Sometimes I find some good buys, especially their shoes department. read more

I bought shoes online from Nordstrom Rack Laguna Niguel and went to pick them up because I needed them for an event. I was told they'd be ready Friday but they were not. They didn't send me an email about how they wouldn't get me the shoes on time, I talked to their ai assistant who said "I can't help you I'm hanging up" then hung up on me, at the store the girl working couldn't have cared less about her job, she was bored and entirely unhelpful. The experience was awful. The store itself is full of old tired clothes and the atmosphere is depressing like you're there because you can't afford to be somewhere good and that's not true for other discount stores. Do yourself a favor, don't buy anything online from here and better yet, don't shop here at all. Oh, after they didn't let me know my shoes would be late, they arrived after my event with a threatening email saying you must pick these up within five days. You are treated like an unwanted dog at Nordstrom rack. read more

They offer a plethora of selection of name brands, at an affordable price. My go-to whenever I need retail therapy.

Manager Stephan is wonderful, best customer service , always friendly and that's his standard. Incredible service

This Nordstrom rack is a bit nicer than the one off El Toro in that is cleaner inside, less crowded and just a nicer experience. The line moves pretty fast and the cashiers are nice and helpful. Prices are much, much better than a mall Nordstrom. read more

Horrible customer service. Tried to return an item that did not work that was brand new and they wouldn't do it, she didn't even ask her manager. read more

Today, at appx 5:30 pm, the line was all the way to the sales floor, and only 3 employees working the registers. Ridiculous. I should've taken a photo. This has been a problem for years, and they refuse to increase their payroll. I've put hundreds of dollars of merchandise back on the racks because of this. Loss prevention goes up as well, because not everyone is putting the clothing back like me. People resort to stealing, to avoid waiting in these long lines that move at snail speed. Also, I was informed that you can no longer earn points, only at Nordstrom retail stores starting June 3rd. Two thumps down. read more

Wish this location had better clothing and shoes selection. During the evening it takes a long wait time to check out. Pricing is fair. read more

Ok selection, but not great for what we were looking for. Lots of work appropriate clothing, seemed to target an older female audience. Checkout staff was friendly and efficient, but not a ton of staff roaming around to unlock bags or glasses. read more

I really wanna like this Nordstrom rack because it's so close to my house but unfortunately, every time I go there the store sale items and clearance items are very congested and hard to go through. The selection of handbags could definitely be larger. I find myself getting overwhelmed with all of the congested items, and I end up leaving. I don't go as often as I used to because it's always very busy in this location so you have to go very early in the morning if you want to get some shopping done the line also gets very long for returns and for overall shopping I do have to say anytime I have purchased anything. The sales people have been very nice and helped me as quick as they could. read more

This is a huge NR for the area and they have everything you could ever ask for. I found some dry shampoo with color to hide my gray roots that grew out of nowhere like this JUST happened!! I also found some lip gloss that smells so good like candy! Check out was easy and the prices are so reasonable!! I would definitely come back!! read more

There are about 40 people in line and 2 people at the register taking about 20 minutes per customer during the busy holiday season. I can't imagine there is a manager at this location. Will never return. read more

Most unhappy workers all the time. Cranky and unpleasant. Never a smile at the check stand.

Good prices, great selection, good management. Had some issues with returns but all resolved well.

The person at the counter wouldn't accept a visa gift card. They blamed it on the Nordstrom system. What unfortunate friction in a shopping experience. I'm spending $400-500 per visit for my family and I can't use a random gift card in my cupboard to have $100 off. Bad business. read more

I find this NR very convenient for making returns of Nordstrom purchases, and for pickup of Nordstrom Rack online purchases. There's a dedicated section for pick ups/returns and when I went in the late morning, I was helped quickly. I've also purchased clothes here. Service here: returning, picking up, purchasing, and fitting room, has been nice. Here's a random list of brands I saw while there recently: Paige, Democracy, Theory, PUMA, Amanda + Chelsea, Sweet Romeo, Melrose and Market, Joe's Jeans, Madewell, Dot's Homestyle Pretzel (yes, they carry a small assortment of snacks), Abound, Hudson, Kiehl's. read more

I have been there a couple of times now and I would say it is wayyyy cheaper than nordstrom itself. The thing that I like about it is that I can return or exchange items between these two. They have too many things to look at so you need a whole day to spend there, with all the veraity that have. I'd say they don't have the perfect serive. read more

Found a few outfits, but I was very disappointed and frustrated with the ENTIRE store layout. I've been to many many many Nordstrom's and Nordstrom Racks too (Texas, Chicago NY, MI, CA) and this is by far the worst one. The checkout lane is a joke. You can barely fit the shopping buggy. Plus the way most of the clothing racks are over full and it makes it difficult to shuffle items thru. I expect this from ROSS but NEVER from Nordstrom's rack or none rack stores. read more

Nordstrom Rack - Picking out an outfit or two. Got a nice date with a cute couple tonight. - Department Stores Near Me - Laguna Niguel, California

I had the most patient and most capable cashier ever... her name was Dina and I really appreciated her help with my birthday gift returns. It turned out to be complicated, but she knew her system well and made the visit not stressful one bit! I'd go back after my experience with her:) read more

Came in to buy my daughter a purse for her birthday. Had an employee following us around the handbag section and instead of offering assistance he kept staring at me and my daughters for the whole time we were there. It was very uncomfortable and i'll will be not coming back to this location. Be warned if you have brown skin and dark hair avoid this location. (Side note) i did in fact make a purchase read more

Went in to get some running shoes (well, really walking shoes) for my mother. We came across Farid in the shoe department. He was wonderful, so personable and knowledgeable about the brands. Always good finds and great prices here. Name brands for half the price of department stores. From classic styles to fashionable designer items. Men women and children. Clothing, shoes, handbags, hosiery, makeup, hair, household, etc. Surprisingly such great stuff in this small spot. read more

do not go to this store, rude horrible employees, especially that return lady with the bangs and strong accent. both of those ladies no customer service at all! sucks for the owner, your going to loose good clients and money over very bad employees! mia/pia whatever her.name is horrible person! avoid at all costs!! i recorded the return lady she grabbed my clothes in disgust they had tags on, clean non worned! i will be filing a lawsuit against you!!! read more

What could improve would probably be the department managers attitude. I tried returning an item today, the cashier said oh it's past the return date but let me get a manager.. I would have been fine if she had just said no can't return it, I didn't ask for a manager! The manager came over looking quite annoyed and first thing out of her mouth was 'what's the problem" I said I didn't have a problem I was just trying to return a blouse. It all seemed a little much with her acting like the enforcer when it didn't need to be. I was totally fine with them not taking it back. It turned what should have been a simple "I'm sorry , we're unable to take it back" into an awkward unnecessary rude exchange. Just be pleasant and explain the policy in a professional non defensive manner and don't immediately assume the customers going to give you a hard time. Sadly not the Nordstrom customer service that they used to have. read more

Every single time I come to this store the line is out of control! It is 1pm on a Monday and they have 1 cashier working. There are 11 people in line ahead of me and 9 People behind me. How does this make any sense? They are doing returns and purchases in the same line. Multiple employees are walking around doing other things except assisting customers. As you can see from previous reviews this happens ALL OF THE TIME! Where is management and corporate? read more

Denying people with medical conditions who are wearing a face shield; their sign even says "face covering" and not an actual mask. Regardless of your stance, this, along with their decreasing quality of merchandise, is why I won't be back. read more

Just had a very pleasant shopping experience at this Nordstrom Rack! Not the typical crazy shopper energy.. must be the laid back location. Staff was really friendly and helpful, Amy H: winning personality.. yes! Someone who smiles! I understand retail work is difficult, I was once there too. Parking was easy.. convenient off the 73.. Saved some major $.. $272.88 to be exact, granted I wouldn't have ever paid full price for the items but it makes me feel good to see in a savvy shopper. read more

In reading the reviews, I am comforted to know that I am not alone in how the staff and management (sometime) treat customers. The last time I was in to return items, the cashier did not know how to process returns. Instead of asking for help on how to locate an order number, she was bullying and belligerent to me. I felt like I was dealing with a child. I asked for help and the manager who assisted doubled down on the rudeness. If returns are so difficult for them, possibly this store should implement a return specific associate that can efficiently process a return in a friendly manner. I know this exists at this store because I've had lovely associates provide great service in the past. I never know the service I may get so, I find myself dreading going into this store. Still wondering....What happened to Nordstrom? read more

I'm so upset. This location now has NO Plus Size clothes anymore. Nordstrom's Rack used to be a place I could count on for affordable, professional clothing. Not anymore. Not unless you're a size 0-12. Seriously, Nordstrom's? You serve an older, affluent crowd. You think we're all Botoxed Cougars in South OC? I guess so. Real women with style, no need to come here anymore. Boo. read more

Great prices and you can always find something for a family member here! Service was friendly, check out was fast even though the lines are long. Be sure to browse their clearance racks as you can find many designer brand goods far below retail. Plenty of easy parking. read more

Why does the cash wrap take soooooo long. Purchasing, picking up an order, or returning all take forever. Why??? I would shop here more if I didn't get stuck in a time suck every time I tried to buy something. read more

I've had several disappointing experiences at this specific location and avoided shopping from here unless I had to. I recently ordered 6 pairs of shoes from Nordstrom.com to be picked up at this Rack location ( on Feb 11th) since it's near my house. While I was there I found couple of items I liked so I then headed to the line that had the " online pick up" sign and where I have previously gone to pick up online orders. The lady at that register saw me but completely ignored my existence for about 10 mins and called the next customer waiting in the other line for purchases. I thought it may be because the other line had more people and she was trying to help with the line so I kept waiting. After several customers she helped from the other line while avoiding any eye contact with me , I tried to get her attention out of frustration to see why she was not helping me. At this point which was approximately 25 mins later, our line was building up. I didn't want to go to a different line either not knowing if they can help with the pick up orders and plus I had already waited much longer than expected. The lady behind me was also extremely agitated of this poor customer service and tried to get the lady's attention as well. Finally the cashier lady ( for the lack of knowing her name, here is the description: middle eastern, long dark hair with glasses) called me when people in our line started to complain. I then wanted to purchase those three additional items I found too in addition to picking up my online order but she refused to ring them up and said she can't help the "on line order" line with purchase at this register and I would have to go back in the other line and wait... I found this beyond ridiculous and a lack of customer service. Amber, the manager came over and didn't have a better attitude and got loud in front of other customers saying "there is another line for purchase and that I needed to go wait over there like everyone else ". She completely ignored the fact that I was waiting longer than many of the people in the other line and it didn't make any sense to make your customers wait in two different lines for different purposes!!! It's so sad to see that the "Nordstrom " reputation of good customer service is completely dead at this store. I recently saw a chat regarding this location on a local Facebook group with customers having similar issues so I thought to write a review for others to be aware of the experience many people are having at this location. The upper management needs to give better training to their staff and supervisors at this location. I will never go back to this location or request a pick up from there ever again. There are many other options out there so I would rather spend my money at department stores that values their customers and want their business. read more

I buy thousands of dollars of merchandise in this store. My mother passed away recently so I went to return one of the Christmas gifts I got more than 45 days ago and they would not make an exception. In fact Reiner I think was very rude. I did brake down because this loss is so recent. Do I politely left in tears. I just did not want to look at these pj's. Anyway I will not be shopping here anymore. Sad because the clerks know me by my name since I spend so much money here!!!! Thank you! read more

If I could give 1/2 stars, then it would be -1/2 stars. The management is argumentative, rude, belligerent and disrespectful, especially Amber. She refuses to allow the customer to speak and then repeats things as if she wasn't heard the 1st time. Nordstrom CS and sales are going downhill and this is who y'all hold onto as the CS experience MANAGER?! DO NOT REPLY w/we are working on this or we apologize for the bad experience bc this store definitely doesn't mean their apologies. If you are expecting the same quality service and merchandise as Nordstrom do not shop at the "Rack" Twice I went to pick up an order they said would be there and both times they could not find it. Definitely not the same customer service you receive at Nordstrom's buyer beware. What a waste of time and gas. Customer service for Nordstrom was very apologetic and said only the store manager for a Rack can fix any problem from the store, but sadly they management does not care at the Rack. read more
