I normally shop at another local running store, but decided to pop into Fleet Feet based on a Memorial Day sale they were having that I saw promoted on social media. Two staff members were very attentive when I arrived; they helped me look at various hydration vests and also some apparel. They were also very patient as I dallied back and forth as to whether I wanted to purchase the vest that day or wait. We also talked a little about electrolytes and the Skratch they had on sale. I decided to give it a go since I am trying to reduce my intake of things with too much added sugar, but the saleswoman said that it was a good thing for electrolytes? Ehh... I dunno about that. We had an issue with them. My wife bought a pair of HOKA walking shoes. In less than 3 months, the soles started falling apart. She really didn't walk that much and the shoes very little wear. We took them back to Fleet Feet. The manager said if it's over 30 days they would not take them back. He did offer to sell her another pair for $160. We contacted the manufacturer and were told, FLEET FEET should have helped with the return to HOKA. I went back to the store and the manager said he couldn't help us but he could sell us another pair for $160. I told him to F*** off and left. Terrible customer service. They will never see us again. I again contacted HOKA and complained about FLEET FEET but I doubt they even care. HOKA's return policy is not easy either. read more

On August 4th, 2025, I purchased a pair of Brooks walking tennis shoes. In mid-December 2025, I returned them because of a hole in top of the shoe above my big toe. My nails are always trimmed, I always wear socks and I only use them for casual walking. The owner insisted that this is considered "normal wear and tear". After only four months?! Rather than replace the shoes, her only solution was to re-purchase another pair at $150 or that I contact Brooks directly myself. Horrible attitude and horrible customer service. read more

It was my first time stepping into a fleet feet store today and it will not be my last! The nice lady who helped me today was incredibly attentive, and accounted for my past injuries, and goals. They had a wide variety of shoes to select from and after the scan they did on my feet, it was narrowed down to 2-3 options. Such a great experience! What a difference being fitted by experts and fellow runners makes! I had previously gone to Road Runner Sports and the associate, while nice, just followed instructions on a screen and couldn't offer much in the way answering my questions. This review is long overdue, but after my last experience I knew I had to rate them ASAP. I am an avid runner and have been for many years. I stumbled onto Fleet Fleet Laguna Niguel a year or two ago. Every time I am there, they are so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products. Their customer service level is so top notch it is heads and shoulders above other running stores. They stock the latest gear and high quality brands like rabbit, new balance, on, altra, and hoka. The people who work there are awesome runners themselves and often suggest and guide you to help you purchase what you need to be successful. Other stores don't seem to take the personal care and interest that Fleet Feet's employees do, they actually listen to you and make suggestions based on my needs. Other running stores treat you more like a number, where Fleet Feet treats you like a person. On my last experience, I was in need of some new trail shoes, but wasn't sure about the Hoka Speed Goat, my usual trail shoes. Well I had mentioned earlier that I often run in brooks for road runs so the sales person recommended I try on the new balance trail shoe (I didn't even know brooks made a trail shoe). The minute I saw them I was in love, so purchased them. I go out of my way to shop at this store as I have two other running stores much closer to me. It is always a fun experience to shop here. They also have training groups you can join as well as offer free fun runs. I just love this store, they are awesome! read more

My doctor recommended this store. My old sneakers had broken down and my feet were killing me. I have unusually wide feet with a high arch as well. I needed to find a proper fitting shoe. Thankfully Kerri at Fleet Feet helped me out. She greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have a 3D foot scanner which confirmed my odd foot shape. 5 stars, hands down. The shop is cute and the employees are welcoming. I went there to get new shoes because I have some core issues, and they used their machine to get imagining on my feet. They worked with me closely to fit my needs and we're even able to find shoes I could wear to work (I'm a waitress so I need non-slip shoes). Just walking out of the store I immediately felt a difference. It's pricey, but worth it. I spent about $200 out the door but got shoes, inserts and these super awesome socks that don't slide down my heels. I think these shoes will last for a long time so (hopefully) I won't be back any time soon. But, I will definitely be telling people to go here! read more

I recently had Achilles' tendon surgery and started PT here locally in Laguna Niguel. I needed to get a comfortable pair of shoes to help with my PT. My therapist recommended Fleet Feet and I decided to give them a try today. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Allie (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly, if not I apologize! ) She asks me how she can help me and immediately takes me to the shoe section. She asked me what I was looking for (I added that I'm looking for a something extra cushioned in the heel) and then asked my shoe size (I didn't know) She grabbed a 10, we tried it on but was too big. She grabbed a 9.5 and it was too tight on my point of surgery. She went back grabbed a 9.5 Wide. She watched how I walked for several minutes and she said that looks perfect. I said they felt awesome, she asked if I wanted to wear them out of the store and I smiled yes! She was so attentive to my needs and was so knowledgeable and friendly! I was in and out in less then 20 mins... and I didn't feel rushed! I was VERY impressed with my experience that I will be back! Hopefully they will get a wider array of colors for the men's shoes! I came into Fleet Feet looking for a great shoe for 12-hour shifts at the hospital as a nursing student and Fleet Feet exceeded my expectations. They scanned my foot to find the best shoe for me and I was pleasantly surprised by the detailedness of it (exact foot size, arch evaluation, pressure points, etc.). I have been struggling to find the perfect shoe and Kerri, the sales associate, was able to find it for me using the scanning algorithm. Kerri was extremely patient, kind, and I just appreciated how she would observe my gait when I was trying the different shoes. I was able to bring home a pair of shoes I really like after countless attempts of going to different shoe stores. Turns out they sold me the wrong pair of shoes. The people helping me as nice as they are and as friendly as they are didn't know the difference between pronation and supnation. Went in today because shoes I purchased it didn't seem that long ago were wearing on my left toe. She got to the root cause of it and yeah I did hurt my left hip a while ago. Excellent!!! Wow! I went today to "shop" for some new shoes as my feet have been hurting ALL the time, preventing me from exercising, even walking any distance at all. We have a trip planned to Israel in a month and we will be walking a lot! As soon as I walked in, I was met by a very nice young woman, Danielle. She put me on a device that imaged my feet telling her not just my size, but different pressure sites and "issues" with my feet. She knew immediately which shoes would work best for my issues and explained very thoroughly why. She spent about an hour with me, trying on numerous different makes and models of shoes to ultimately end up with a super comfortable shoe and inserts! I have taken a long walk in them already and they were super comfortable! I was so impressed with not just Danielle's patience in trying on all the shoes, but, also her knowledge of the anatomy of the foot and the best shoes for each individual case!
